When I was a little kid, I tweeted a bunch of UA-camrs I watched asking if they wanted to be in a show I was supposedly making. Thinknoodles was one of them. He replied and said to DM him, to which I told him it wouldn't let me and asked if he could DM me first. ...he proceeded to follow me. I DMd him the (terrible) show idea and he left me on read. Then for the next like, 7 years or so, he was STILL following me, even though I changed that account into a parody account at one point. He never unfollowed until I deleted the account a couple years ago. Still one of the funniest memories I have.

He may be cringe to anyone above 9 but I’m sure he knows exactly what he’s doing, he just wants to put a smile on some kids faces and some money in his pockets, nothing wrong with that (and as far as I know there aren’t any major controversies tied to him)
And the only reason I’m sort of sympathetic to him is because I have younger brothers that watch kids content and awful but my brothers are so happy when they watch it

Yea but to me I wanted him to at least be like Dantdm. Dantdm grows his content to a mature feeling because he knows we grew up and to ensure we who were once kids can at least watch his content in a mature way and not kids. Although Thinknoodles is the same person, he doesn't really change his content demographic and while this does bring kids but it also makes older Thinknoodles viewers leave. You might say the same for Dantdm but his sub lost is probably minimum compared to Thinknoodles at least imo.

It genuinely could be worse. I think that he actually just enjoys making content targeted for younger kids, and I'm absolutely certain early on in his career playing games like Club Penguin and Poptropica were fun for him. I grew up with him, and being able to say that my childhood youtuber didn't end up behind bars or blacklisted is a pretty good feat. Sure it's garbage to older people with taste, but if a 50 year old man wants to react to skibidi toilet and play garten of banban with his furry facecam, by god who's to stop him.
i used to watch his poptropica videos too 😭😭 I tried to do the island on my own but if i got stuck i'd watch his videos. I would have never finished skullduggery island without him, thank you thinknoodles. His videos had a certain charm, even the Minecraft videos with thinklab it was really fun to watch him do the voices for the minions and you obviously know that it's his voice but it's still really funny because of that.

the fact 9:15 is the most replied of the video and was the minecraft mod/roleplay with the lab and minions says something, those episodes/series was a real treat and the effort he used to put back into it was something.

I have this vivid memory of finding this one moment in Think Lab funny where he finds this chihuahua that says "te quiero taco bell" so hilarious I saved it on my 3DS as a sound clip by recording it with the built in mic from my computer speakers. This man's UA-cam channel was one of my favorites as a kid next to a bunch of other popular roleplaying Minecraft UA-camrs and honestly was one of the inspirations for my own silly creative stories I make today. His content now is definitely lower quality in my eyes and may fall in that "content farm" section but eh, I may be saying that because the new stuff is definitely not my demographic. He's getting that bag and isn't getting sent to jail for horrific crimes and I say that's a win.
I loved thinknoodles' old content so much as kid, I don't go back to rewatch them but they hold a special place in my heart, especially the Minecraft and Pokemon brick bronze ones.

man, I was so obsessed with thinknoodles as a kid 😭 very easily a special interest of mine to the point where I even became obsessed with noodles for a while, started an online alias by the name of "pinknoodles," and would comment on SEVERAL of his thinks lab videos hoping to get a minion named pinknoodles. I was 7. I still have an old profile named pinknoodles on our xbox 360. I think I even tried to make him a minecraft world on that profile as if there was actually a way to show it to him LOL. he made a big impact on my childhood and even to this day I sometimes load up the playlists of his noodle planet or thinks lab series and just reminisce on times where minecraft youtubers werent creepy abusive assholes that were obsessed with children for literally no reason. I've DEFINITELY grown out of his newer content. I watched a couple of his roblox videos a few years back just to see how bad it was and it just really wasn't for me. I fully agree that is basically slop. but he clearly still enjoys what he's doing and I can respect that a lot! I think him making that brain rotted comment comparing the 9/11 memorial to the fucking roblox logo (which was INSANE) and one of his old thumbnail artists stealing thumbnails from other creators (which he promptly fired them for and got different people to make new thumbnails that were actually hopefully original) are the only real controversies he's been in, which is like, WAY better than what can be said for most other mcyts from way back when lmao. I used to play Poptropica when I was younger, and Thinknoodles was the person whose walkthroughs I watched for some of the "harder" levels. Literally did not think he did anything else and I kinda wish it was that way. But I can say the 'obsession' brand thing with noodles is probably because the usernames in Poptropica are randomly generated, and that was his.

I have a fun story related to Thinknoodles! When I was a kid, I ADORED Poptropica but I SUCKED at figuring out the islands. So naturally, I went to UA-cam for answers and found Think's walkthroughs. I discovered his other content fairly quickly after that(Think's Lab became young me's favorite thing ever), and then... I bought a plushie. This is relevant because I didn't know what to name it(yes, I named my plushies, who didn't?). I called her Bubblegum for a few days, but it didn't feel fitting... Then I remembered Thinknoodles had a dog. And so, all these years later, I still have a stuffed animal named Kopi lol.
I love think, i grew up with him (from his poptropica vids, to club penguin to mc to roblox) and i'm glad to see he's not in major controversy. Im so glad to have one of his minion places and to have my fanmail read by him. He was a big part of my life growing up and i still to this day would love to meet him.
I really liked his old horror game age, it was genuinely interesting to me and seeing him play lots of those classic horror games just gives me nostalgia as I uses to play them with my friends, he still goes back to some of the old ones if they get updated. He does do the challenging modes so I dont think all of his content is just lazy, I think he knows what he doing. He's sort of catering to both generations of his viewers.

I hope I can describe to you how much I loved this video. The UA-cam website was pretty much only used to get me to Thinknoodles's channel. He was pretty much the only UA-camr I watched for a while. A part of my childhood ended when his Minecraft survival world series ended. That's about where I hopped off the train. Crazy to think that Thinknoodles has stuck around for as long as he has so far. I first found out about him from Club Penguin (he was one of the bigger channels for the game). He moved to Minecraft around the same time as most other huge Club Penguin UA-camrs (and actually found success, unlike most of them). Haven't really watched him since, but I do see his name pop up every now and then.

Dantdm grows his content to a mature feeling because he knows we grew up and to ensure we who were once kids can at least watch his content in a mature way and not kids. Although Thinknoodles is the same person, he doesn't really change his content demographic and while this does bring kids but it also makes older Thinknoodles viewers leave. You might say the same for Dantdm but his sub lost is probably minimum compared to Thinknoodles at least imo.

I think that he actually just enjoys making content targeted for younger kids, and I'm absolutely certain early on in his career playing games like Club Penguin and Poptropica were fun for him. I grew up with him, and being able to say that my childhood youtuber didn't end up behind bars or blacklisted is a pretty good feat. i used to watch his poptropica videos too 😭😭 I tried to do the island on my own but if i got stuck i'd watch his videos. I would have never finished skullduggery island without him, thank you thinknoodles. His videos had a certain charm, even the Minecraft videos with thinklab it was really fun to watch him do the voices for the minions and you obviously know that it's his voice but it's still really funny because of that.

I have this vivid memory of finding this one moment in Think Lab funny where he finds this chihuahua that says "te quiero taco bell" so hilarious I saved it on my 3DS as a sound clip by recording it with the built in mic from my computer speakers. This man's UA-cam channel was one of my favorites as a kid next to a bunch of other popular roleplaying Minecraft UA-camrs and honestly was one of the inspirations for my own silly creative stories I make today.
His content now is definitely lower quality in my eyes and may fall in that "content farm" section but eh, I may be saying that because the new stuff is definitely not my demographic. He's getting that bag and isn't getting sent to jail for horrific crimes and I say that's a win.

man, I was so obsessed with thinknoodles as a kid 😭 very easily a special interest of mine to the point where I even became obsessed with noodles for a while, started an online alias by the name of "pinknoodles," and would comment on SEVERAL of his thinks lab videos hoping to get a minion named pinknoodles. I was 7. I still have an old profile named pinknoodles on our xbox 360. I think I even tried to make him a minecraft world on that profile as if there was actually a way to show it to him LOL. he made a big impact on my childhood and even to this day I sometimes load up the playlists of his noodle planet or thinks lab series and just reminisce on times where minecraft youtubers werent creepy abusive assholes that were obsessed with children for literally no reason.
I've DEFINITELY grown out of his newer content. I watched a couple of his roblox videos a few years back just to see how bad it was and it just really wasn't for me. I fully agree that is basically slop. but he clearly still enjoys what he's doing and I can respect that a lot! I think him making that brain rotted comment comparing the 9/11 memorial to the fucking roblox logo (which was INSANE) and one of his old thumbnail artists stealing thumbnails from other creators (which he promptly fired them for and got different people to make new thumbnails that were actually hopefully original) are the only real controversies he's been in, which is like, WAY better than what can be said for most other mcyts from way back when lmao. I have a fun story related to Thinknoodles!
When I was a kid, I ADORED Poptropica but I SUCKED at figuring out the islands. So naturally, I went to UA-cam for answers and found Think's walkthroughs. I discovered his other content fairly quickly after that(Think's Lab became young me's favorite thing ever), and then... I bought a plushie.
This is relevant because I didn't know what to name it(yes, I named my plushies, who didn't?). I called her Bubblegum for a few days, but it didn't feel fitting... Then I remembered Thinknoodles had a dog. And so, all these years later, I still have a stuffed animal named Kopi lol.

I love think, i grew up with him (from his poptropica vids, to club penguin to mc to roblox) and i'm glad to see he's not in major controversy. Im so glad to have one of his minion places and to have my fanmail read by him. He was a big part of my life growing up and i still to this day would love to meet him.
I really liked his old horror game age, it was genuinely interesting to me and seeing him play lots of those classic horror games just gives me nostalgia as I uses to play them with my friends, he still goes back to some of the old ones if they get updated. He does do the challenging modes so I dont think all of his content is just lazy, I think he knows what he doing. He's sort of catering to both generations of his viewers.

A part of my childhood ended when his Minecraft survival world series ended. That's about where I hopped off the train. I remember watching Thinknoodles Poptropica walkthroughs for an entire night just before leaving for a plane trip, one of the best memories of my life somehow
I didn't watch thinknoodles as a kid, but my brother(8) watches him now, and he's always so excited to update me about the next garten of banban update or whatever thinknoodles is doing. I grew up with thinknoodles when I was around 9 and up. It’s kind of sad to see how his content is now, but honestly he seems like a geniune person from all ive seen of him. Though I do think he should retire, he deserves it

I really miss those days. Back when I played poptropica I was too dumb to figure out the objectives. The only levels I did by myself without help were 24 carrots and monkey wrench.

Crazy to think that Thinknoodles has stuck around for as long as he has so far. I first found out about him from Club Penguin (he was one of the bigger channels for the game). He moved to Minecraft around the same time as most other huge Club Penguin UA-camrs (and actually found success, unlike most of them). Haven't really watched him since, but I do see his name pop up every now and then.

I was one of the OG 9 year olds that followed his poptropica and club penguin tutorials before he even had a voice and he was called something else. I even followed his minecraft stuff from minions to SMP. Dude was my fave. I'm in college now, it's crazy how he evolved. I gotta respect it. This guy is a genius when it comes to children's content.
Edit: Sad that I can't enjoy him no more. Part of me wishes he took a path of more mature content I could still enjoy. Though he's still getting the bag and have no controversy so I'm happy for him he deserves it. Seems like a genuinely good guy that just wants to make content.

YEAH ME TOO i remember watching his poptropica videos a TON in like 2012,, i remember him even adding me to his poptropica friends list when he still played it too which was the coolest thing ever to me when i was a kid (and it's still cool to me now)
yeah i stopped watching by the time he used the memoji avatar, but everything before that was pretty great. even his goofy mod showcases with the minions were pretty fun
