@@micjimster4845 dan is genuinely my favorite example of ''old content creator thats been around on the scene for longer than most people on youtube have been alive but still stays relevant for kids and adults''. i watched the guy since i was like 6 or smth and loved his content. now i'm almost 16 and i still enjoy his videos from time to time (obviously since he *is* a content creator that tries to appeal to both adults and kids at once, you do have to kind of put yourself in the role of being younger than you actually are but, if you can do that, his content is truly worth watching)

I didn't watch thinknoodles as a kid, but my brother(8) watches him now, and he's always so excited to update me about the next garten of banban update or whatever thinknoodles is doing. He watches it on our tv, and a couple times I've found myself trying not to laugh at the jokes that go right over my brother's head. Honestly, I'm just glad it's not Preston anymore.

Crazy to think that Thinknoodles has stuck around for as long as he has so far. I first found out about him from Club Penguin (he was one of the bigger channels for the game). He moved to Minecraft around the same time as most other huge Club Penguin UA-camrs (and actually found success, unlike most of them). Haven't really watched him since, but I do see his name pop up every now and then.

It genuinely could be worse. I think that he actually just enjoys making content targeted for younger kids, and I'm absolutely certain early on in his career playing games like Club Penguin and Poptropica were fun for him. I grew up with him, and being able to say that my childhood youtuber didn't end up behind bars or blacklisted is a pretty good feat. Sure it's garbage to older people with taste, but if a 50 year old man wants to react to skibidi toilet and play garten of banban with his furry facecam, by god who's to stop him.

i used to watch his poptropica videos too 😭😭 I tried to do the island on my own but if i got stuck i'd watch his videos. I would have never finished skullduggery island without him, thank you thinknoodles. His videos had a certain charm, even the Minecraft videos with thinklab it was really fun to watch him do the voices for the minions and you obviously know that it's his voice but it's still really funny because of that.

I have this vivid memory of finding this one moment in Think Lab funny where he finds this chihuahua that says "te quiero taco bell" so hilarious I saved it on my 3DS as a sound clip by recording it with the built in mic from my computer speakers. This man's UA-cam channel was one of my favorites as a kid next to a bunch of other popular roleplaying Minecraft UA-camrs and honestly was one of the inspirations for my own silly creative stories I make today.
His content now is definitely lower quality in my eyes and may fall in that "content farm" section but eh, I may be saying that because the new stuff is definitely not my demographic. He's getting that bag and isn't getting sent to jail for horrific crimes and I say that's a win.
It was genuinely a cool moment when i saw my niece watching Thinknoodles when i grew up watching his poptropica and club penguin videos.
It’s interesting how him and Dan had the opposite approach where Dan grew with his audience and uploads what he wants when he feels like it while think continued advertising to the same audience. I would assume think has to have some kind of passion behind what he does with how frequently he uploads considering he doesn’t really need the money as he is definitely wealthy by now and if I remember correctly I think his wife is a doctor

I used to watch this guy for his club penguin content. We had a forum for Club Penguin Insiders specifically that we would all talk on, but then it ended up getting hacked at some point by a bot.
It was a niche community. We were all roughly 9-16 at the time and discussed all things club penguin up until shutdown. Not a lot of us liked where his channel was going during minecraft, but we still loved the guy for who he was.
I remember there was a person on that forum who had a cancer diagnosis, and I never got an update on them. Miss those days.
i first started found thinknoodles yearsss ago when i was still a little kid in elementary playing poptropica, id look up walkthroughs on the islands i was stuck on and thinknoodles was literally my go to. it does suck to see the content hes put out lately but honestly im just glad hes still managed to keep his channel alive so kudos

I honestly think its impressive that he kept up with technology, most people his age or even younger struggle with a controller, to be able to play games easily is actually pretty impressive.
Dude I grew up with thinknoodles, I was introduced to him through his poptropica tutorials and got lead into his Minecraft RPs, which ultimately made me a bigger fan of him where I even bought his backpack in middle school. He even replied with happy 11th birthday to me (I lied about it) thru a comment one time. And I even posted to his Twitter a congratulations when he hit 300k subs . (I got a follow back from him)! I appreciate everything he’s done while being included in my childhood. I remember being bummed out when he suddenly started to switch toward Roblox and leave his Minecraft series behind , later escalating to what he does now. But I have to respect him because overtime you have to change things. Yes I do miss his older videos because he really is a creative person but in the end I wish him the best. I’m 20 now so it’s crazy to think how long ago that was.
Fun fact: as a kid i was such big thinknoodles fan i was gonna name our new dog kopi, after his, but they guy making the nametag thing missheard me and thought i said kobe so now my dog is named after a basketball player instead. I think i dodged a bullet honestly

I have a fun story related to Thinknoodles!
When I was a kid, I ADORED Poptropica but I SUCKED at figuring out the islands. So naturally, I went to UA-cam for answers and found Think's walkthroughs. I discovered his other content fairly quickly after that(Think's Lab became young me's favorite thing ever), and then... I bought a plushie.
This is relevant because I didn't know what to name it(yes, I named my plushies, who didn't?). I called her Bubblegum for a few days, but it didn't feel fitting... Then I remembered Thinknoodles had a dog. And so, all these years later, I still have a stuffed animal named Kopi lol.

I used to play Poptropica when I was younger, and Thinknoodles was the person whose walkthroughs I watched for some of the "harder" levels. Literally did not think he did anything else and I kinda wish it was that way. But I can say the 'obsession' brand thing with noodles is probably because the usernames in Poptropica are randomly generated, and that was his.

Grew up on Thinknoodles when I was first getting stuck playing Poptropica levels. Then I got into his old Minecraft content and it was actually really great! I did sometimes watch the mod videos and I even later got my younger neighbor into him too. I definitely grew out of Thinknoodles and it’s weird to see how his videos have progressed but I’ll definitely love the content I grew up with forever.

I love think, i grew up with him (from his poptropica vids, to club penguin to mc to roblox) and i'm glad to see he's not in major controversy. Im so glad to have one of his minion places and to have my fanmail read by him. He was a big part of my life growing up and i still to this day would love to meet him.

I also loved watching his minion Minecraft series when I was younger. Well, whatever episodes seemed interesting to me at least. For me, ThinkNoodles just started to fade away, and when I decided to check back in on him one day and saw the cat emoji, I was like "OK, I'm done."
I never really minded the emojis. I just don’t like how he keeps on using the cat emoji.

I hope I can describe to you how much I loved this video. The UA-cam website was pretty much only used to get me to Thinknoodles's channel. He was pretty much the only UA-camr I watched for a while. A part of my childhood ended when his Minecraft survival world series ended. That's about where I hopped off the train. This video served as a very funny, consolidated history and recap of the channel since I hopped off. I will be sure to watch this video again in the future.

I remember thinknoodles would play on my TV (just videos playing in the background of him playing ONLY regular vanilla gameplay minecraft as background noise. Or then sometimes I would just sit down and watch it sometimes) and now he is all of this. Pretty nuts.

Targeting towards children has honestly always been more profitable and successful then mature audiences in general. Cocomelon doesn't have over 100million subs from appealing to adults.

I remember growing up Watching him playing Pokemon: Brick Bronze on ROBLOX, Club Penguin tutorials, Poptropica walkthroughs, and Playing games with DanTDM. But now, It feels like he has turned into a Content Farm with The Weird ass Toilet heads, Playing weird Indie games that looks like Kids games, Plaing horror games and make them Un-scary and Shorts. I really missed his old Vids. That is why I don't really watch him anymore.
Plus, I remember he had a 2nd channel called "ThinknoodlesToo" where he Does Club Penguin and "Thinknoodles Live" Where it's minecraft livestream, It's sad he abandoned his old channels just for His Main.

as someone who grew up watching crazy craft by dantdm, thnxcya and thinknoodles are people that i've grown quite accustomed to (despite the fact that i somehow manage to forget both of them every now and then and they come back to me like a vietnam flashback as soon as i remember their names again). out of the two, i always felt like thnxcya was a generally cooler person (if you'd want to do a video about the guy then that'd be pretty cool, though there isnt as much content there as there is for think, since thnxcya just kinda laid low and right now is just pumping out ''mediocre'' kids content without too much hyper editing and quick cuts). still though, crazy craft was genuinely one of my favorite series as a kid and its what got me into minecraft modding so i do have a soft spot in my heart for these content creators (even if both of them have transitioned towards mostly generic kids content now, though thankfully dantdm hasnt really, his content is good enough to be enjoyed by adults but also PG enough to be enjoyed by children, he's kinda perfected that formula i'd say)

This is such a niche topic to make a video about, but as someone who used to watch Think since way back when this is incredibly nostalgic.
I will say, his minecraft letsplays (not roleplays) were actually pretty okay for like- teens. 2020-when he stopped posting doors was when older people could watch his content without freaking brain rot. Even played Mortuary Assistant I’m pretty sure. Then Skibidy toilet or whatever the hell dropped and his content got more geared to kids. His more mature videos I’d say were the best of his channel.
