Sorry for the late video, I recently moved and I'm still trying to catch-up with my schedule. My 2020 animation expectation video is still coming out this Friday. See y'all then!

I still can’t believe that Foodfight released in the 2010s.
I heard it was planned to be released in Christmas 2003.

It looks like a fever dream
Especially since the animation looks 90's.
I forgot that was even a movie. That exists. That had a 65 million dollar budget. I curse the person who stole the original work.

Also, Betty White was in The Lorax. I also appreciated the environmental message of the movie.
Gnomeo and Juliet was my childhood. I know it’s really cheesy but it still has a special place in my heart.
The sequel can burn though 🙂🔥

Sherlock gnomes was better-

"Didn't Watch" category is secretly the "2020 reviews" category.
Not even that secretly
Sounds about right
XP
Except for where the dead go to die, we don't talk about that one
lol omg the worst thing is that when you search up "minions without" the first thing that pops up is "Minions without goggles" so i guess a million other people wondered the same thing-
Is anybody excited for the potential of the "Didnt watch" category? We got reviews for weeks.
Adrian Rangel WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
That's the beauty of the section. I definitely wanna double back on some of those I didn't get around to yet
I'm still waiting on his review of Felidae...It's not a bad film...actually it's surprisingly good, but it often gets overlooked, so it deserves more attention
@@Saberspark If you do do some of these, you should do a thing at the end of the video where you go back to this list and put them in whatever category you think they deserve.
Yeah, surprised he didn't see Alpha and Omega. And that calls himself a furry. Tsk.
I’ve seen gnomeo and Juliet recently and it’s actually pretty good. The love story and how well animated the gnomes look (down to the ceramic detail) really good. I actually recommend it, there are some stupid moments, but most of it is rlly competent.
I have SO much nostalgia bias for Gnomeo and Juliet - it's that nostalgic feeling that just warms your heart. Such a good feeling, even if I haven't seen it in years

3:26 that movies epic. They go back in time to the first thanksgiving to get turkeys off the menu. That’s right, they went back in time to the first thanksgiving to get turkeys off the menu!
Who are you talking to?
One day when I was a kid my mom gave me "Mars Needs Moms" as one of the shows I could watch, it scarred me. I was scared of those aliens turning my mom into a piece of hair. My mom wishes she never gave it to me to watch. Looking back on it, it was pretty funny me reacting like that.
You should absolutely review all the “did not watch ones” over the course of the year and adjust the tier list accordingly

Troll Land makes my brain hurt. I feel the pain, and I know that Troll Land is to blame.
I honestly really liked Cars 2 when I was a kid, and I still do (I personally find it to be quite a fun watch), but like someone else said, it should’ve been made as a spin-off and not marketed as a direct sequel to the first film.
Man free birds is a hood classic, bro they went back in time to the first thanksgiving to get turkeys off the menu
But can they compete with the Cinematic Masterpiece of all time: Joshua and the Promise Land?
The ironic value of this movie is too high

I’m really surprised Joshua and the Promised Land wasn’t on this list at all. Memes aside, I still consider it the worst thing Saber has ever reviewed.
@@wingedmirage4226 it wan't released in the 2010s. it came out in 2004. that's the only reason it's not on this list.

We gotta go back in time to the first Worst Animated Movies of the 2010s tier list, to get Free Birds off the menu!
2:35 I just realized this, but can we take a moment and acknowledge how beautiful this shot it. The shot itself is fine, but when the fish slides down, it left a clean mark on the grill where it’s body and fins were. Noting amazing, but a cool detail I didn’t see before.

For me personally I’m very glad you put “a turtles tale” in meh
I remember liking it as a kid maybe loving it because of how cute it is. When I rewatch it now it’s honestly still not bad. Sure there are some contrived plot points but still it’s so cute about two friends just drifting, coming back, drifting again due to clashing personalities due to being older then of course human B plot happens and I don’t exactly like that personally but the human character lady was very fun and cute and did what she needed and stuff.
It is surprisingly a good part of my childhood I can look back and and go “aww I remember that”
Anyway just wanted to give my 2 cents
For me, is just a movie I just watched due to fate, it just exists and never watch it again.
Mostly because felt empty most of the time. I can't give a 4/10 to that. Sorry.
29:51 I feel bad for Popeyes Jr and his friend, they look like they were forced to spend 24 hours playing Ragdoll Simulator on Roblox against their will
The problem I had with the good dinosaur was that the plot point was “what if the meteor didn’t kill the dinosaurs” and they could have done so much more with it
Why does evreyone have that icon
Ja I beat the makers of troll land could do better
The problem I had with it was that the movie was so forgetable. Like seriously, did I fall asleep in the movies while we were watching it or something??

Rip, the 9th one came out this year
This comment gave me a heart attack. I was hoping you were kidding lol
I don't see evidence for the 9th one, but dear god why are there 8 to begin with!!!
I vaguely remember the first movie being just a boring road trip story though I did remember rooting for the guy wolf.
I only saw 1 and 3. All of them felt generic, like an average “family” movie. The plot was similar to Gnomeo and Juliet, the animation quality was a stud to the thing, and it was just like the family-friendly dub of Walking with Dinosaurs: The Movie. Sad, right?
9 movies holy crap
Well that fell under my radar.
the good dinosaur. yes it was a bad/boring plot. but you’re so right about the “visual” part. it was amazing sculpted, the sets and the characters. and i honestly thought, personally, the round-mouthed, large headed character style was adorable.
There is a ripoff of Ratatouille called Rattatoing (sry if I cant spell). Just look it up it is a masterpiece of film. Stupid plot, terrible pacing, ugly animation that is constantly reused over and over, the whole shabang. Truly a masterpiece of film.
“Precisely!”
When will movie production studios realize that being a kid’s movie doesn’t give it a free pass to be of such low quality?
Not anytime soon thanks to Disney still make a lot of money off the nostalgia.
The first 4 Ice Age movies were more mature
The first 3 were good. Continental drift as one of the biggest let downs of my 5th grade year lmao. And collision course was just... Jesus 🤦🏽♂️😂
@@burtmacklin1939 yeah continental drift had a bad story. Jesus, collision course ruined their traits and then became the worst ice age movie ever. If they made an ice age 6 the movie would be BS because of the different crappy character traits.

Featherstones Song scene makes me sob
Nothing harsh; I agree with practically every bit of this video, but I just want to say, personally, that I feel not every story should be very in-depth, especially as people get older since they start having problems comprehending certain things. It's like making supper with a soup or pasta dish: Don't stir too much since it'll be too runny, but no stirring at all can result in a distasteful thickness that may make it hard to enjoy the other contents in the dish (especially with pasta.) To simplify, I believe a story can either be simple or drawn out depending on what the end goal is meant to be: a comedically laugh-out-loud or purely motivational film (like Sing, though Im only guessing as I never saw it) shouldn't need a big or completely developed story as it's main goal is to entertain through means other than thought-provoking actions, but should set a frame to follow at the least to keep things relevant so the goal is realized upon the ending. Sometimes, all you just need is a bit of spices and seasoning to make that meal enjoyable, not more or less stirring, if that makes sense. I hope to see you review those unwatched movies though, Saber! I'll hop on to watch it as soon as I see it pop up in my feed or recommendations.
Hope you have an awesome day, Saber, and to all of you who read this comment.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that Laika's "Missing Link" got a golden globe award. Stop motion got a golden globe against big name companies.
This is a happy time.
I would say Missing Link is is probably the weakest of the Laika productions so far, and I was expecting far more out of their latest film, but I honestly liked it and laughed out loud at many of the jokes and visual gags. It's not a "bad" film, but it's not anything spectacular like Coraline.
I know the guy who made the models for Missing Link. He works up the street at a nearby college. I want to go there when I finish up school, as my brother goes there currently
This just restored my faith in humanity.
I'm so happy for them, just sad that THIS movie of theirs got the golden glove, because its one of their weaker films... Kubo deserved it, Paranorman deserved it, Coraline deserved it... Boxtrolls is one of their weaker movies also

I watched a lot of these movies as a kid, and thought they were really good movies. As I have grown up, I have realized how bad they really are. It’s quite a strange feeling.
I actually have a disk of the movie The Star, and, the plot's not too bad. Let's just not talk about the camel designs, but the story. It's about a donkey Bo-
OH YEAH- SPOILERS ARE POSSIBLE -
Anyway - Bo escapes from a mill, finds Mary and Joseph, who are about to go to Bethlehem to give birth to Jesus. Long story short, they get hunted by a big scary bounty hunter with big scary dogs, Dave, (a friend of Bo, who is also a Dove-) and a sheep that I forgot the name of, try to help Mary and Joseph on their journey, attempting to keep them far away from the bounty hunter guy and his dogs. Yeah, that's basically the story. It's got really great music in my opinion, and I think my favorite character is basically a sub-plot (or backround character that helps build story, like Scrat from Ice age, I suppose,) and she's a Jerboa. Yes, it's a good Christian movie. But when I watched it with my mom again this year, I realized just how much moaning and groaning was in the film. Almost enough to make it uncomfortable. But, of couse, as a kid, I didn't pay any mind to it. Finially, story wise, it's one of my favorite Christian movies, and I think it's underrated.

Dark Angel 666 I have, trust me it’s BAD!
Dark Angel 666 the movie is seriously cursed
It's a really awful edgy movie. There is even a part animated with Kinect.
Dark Angel 666 I mistook it for “the dead don’t die” and both are terrible
Dark Angel 666 your lucky
I think people are hating on the good dinosaur more than it deserves, and I think it's because it's a Pixar movie. Pixar has made some absolute bangers and they just have a better average point for their movies than many other studios. The good dinosaur wasn't really BAD in my opinion, but because it was made by Pixar, the studio that made the Incredibles, ratatouille, and so many other great films, there was a higher bar set for it, and higher expectations. In a vacuum, the good dinosaur was okay, but knowing the studio behind it, it fell lower than it deserved.
Also the character designs are pretty ugly and it makes it hard to get attached to the characters ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Edit: even if you apply this 'higher expectations' idea to cars 2, it's still awful, and I'd like to just pretend it didn't happen and say cars 3 was actually just cars 2 because the spy movie cars 2 didn't happen.

Him: *says that the Gnomeo and Juliet trailer looks bad*
My childhood: 😭
I FELT THE SAME WAY. I loved that movie so dearly as a kid and I STILL DO. It’s so adorable! 🥰🥰🥰
Ikr
I know, I adore that movie. I saw that the tier list’s cover was actually for the sequel, Sherlock Gnomes, though. I dunno if it really makes a difference anyways.
I love Gnomeo and Juliet, must have watched a dozen times or more when I was a kid, but I didn’t care for the sequel too much, it was kind of boring.

Home: The movie everyone forgets
Turbo: The movie everyone actually forgot completely existed
hey Turbo was ok for a kids film
I actually had to search it up to know what you mean, and yeah, I forgot. Concept is interesting, at least.
Me who has an animated movie Map with Turbo in it:
*That is not correct because according to the encyclopedia of srydjahrhakehriandbfbxkenajejdmz*
Turbo was better than Home at least. Weird, but solid.
I saw both and liked them both
I remember when I was a kid and planes came out, I went to see it in 3d with my family at the theatre. I legit, up till this point, thought planes was a spinoff made by pixar, in the same universe or whatever. Hearing that disney themselves made this, and got away with it, is so fucking insane
The Lorax, judging it as a movie by itself, is... eh. But comparing the Lorax movie to the book, it is an absolute insult to Seuss.
Disappointed the Emoji Movie didn’t go in the “Meh” tier. Very fitting
*meh*

*Ima stop you guys right there*

"I dunno if I review it. I feel like it's one of those forbidden movies."
Oh Saber, looking through your channel I would say you hold some experience in t h e f o r b i d d e n
Furries anyone? Saber sure has experience
ClayXros you poor fool. That movie is so..just..disturbing. Don’t ever watch or compare to furries again. I would rather watch those fart videos of MLP that exist then watch that one infamous scene that involves the dog.
@@threedaysgrace2233 It's not disturbing for me, it's just too edgy. It had some cool ideas, maybe not absolute worst because this category is for films that have NOTHING good in them.
The movie is what would happened if you turned the rainbow dash cumjar into a movie
GD Lunar I agree with edgy and on paper the story could have been good. However disturbing is subjected. The animation and added edge disturbed me especially when boy had to lose his virginity. And the molestation.
Oh also the voice of labby while very creepy I don’t know I was hoping for a demonic voice. Surprise the person who created it didn’t go for that.
I actually really liked that Turtle Tale movie when I was in my late tweens (I guess I was around 12 or 13?). Granted, I haven't seen it since then, so maybe my opinion will change if I ever decide to revisit it.
I watched it, and it is.
Such a movie.
