Seriously ,marlin on addicted fishing mentions that "fisherman's life" uses like a half stick of butter and it looks so good. They should join up and do a catch and cook!..
Nick is a very knowledgeable fisherman with lots of great info to share. His charters are definitely well worth it and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get started!
Dude I'm so glad norcal kayak adventures is a thing. I can finally learn to fish for stuff without going deep with a boat. I cant wait. I'm so hyped for the experience.
I rode past you guys while you were setting up the camera. I'm glad I swung back to confirm it was you and to say Hi. I'm not a fisherman or chef, but I love your recipes: butter + fish (+ rice)
I had a very intelligent conversation with a fisherman about fishing and yet I never been fishing. Just watched loads of your vids. So thanks for helping me not look like an idiot 😅
Holy shit if someone did that near me on the east coast I would totally go out on a yak and learn. Smart idea especially for those who can't store a kayak at home.
I remember watching this a week or 2 back and that fish was huge and then nate did mention your name "fisherman's life" out in the distance cool to see it from your pov... Keep up the great work 🎣 and fish on 🤙
I think a kayak setup like Key West Kayak Fishing has would be awesome. A big outrigger on one side so you're really stable, an engine for traveling over long distances, and pedals so you can sneak up on fish, get around without using fuel, and as a backup for your engine. You can also strap a paddle to the outrigger so you have a backup for your backup. Really it's everything you need for a kayak and can be used to go pretty far out to sea if you wanted to.
Your channel motivates me very much in catch and cook fishing and now its been two months for me starting my fishing adventure n slowly learning every aspects of fishing through ur videos. Im gonna starts my very own Catch n cook channel soon. Thanks fisherman life from Malaysia. (Malaysia situated across southeast asian near Singapore. 😊✌)
Try Boiling the Halibut in 7-up and serving it with melted butter. We call it poor mans lobster... Taste very close to lobster tail, firm meat...Very good. Bring the 7-up to a boil and cut the halibut into chunks about 1"x 1" and drop into the boiling 7-up and when they start to float remove, let drain, and then serve with melted butter. Dip into the butter and enjoy....Very easy to make and taste awesome.....
Do you guys have any idea how good the two of you have it? I love seafood, but I live in Nebraska. I feel lucky to see "fresh' frozen here. You guys are eating fish that was alive only moments before. Love your lives because you don't know how good you have it. You might say you do, but believe me, you don't.

If you bake them with the skin on they retain more moisture. You could also grill it this way once done you can just pull from the tail and the skin will just peel off. Im in glaveston, tx the flounder i cooked was about 17 inches with nothing and it had a 🧈 flavor. Just removed the head and guts throw it in the oven on a rack at 375 for about 1 hour. Good fishing and eating. I will make a video on it the next time i get ready to cook another one as it is super simple. Think my channel name is m m just start uploading videos about a month ago.
