Thanks for mentioning the motorcycle helmet. A lot of people say that’s overkill so we shouldn’t buy one, just get a bicycle helmet… well, they’re not wrong because it’s definitely overkill but I’d rather wear an overkill helmet than get KILLED by a drunk driver!
I use the same mirrors…excellent. Have phone holder… put one of those alarm systems on one of my other bikes. I have Panier bags that I love on my eBikes and I mainly use the X class bike for commuting. Saves me a lot on gas that’s for sure and other expenses. I really like the accessories and I use a lot of these products you are demonstrating in the video, thanks for sharing and I hope you have a good week and 2023 what is left of it and 2024 coming up. I have an x classy bike that I really like that I use mainly... the Luckeep X-1. I’m so lightweight it does about 34 miles an hour... fast for me. I have other bikes, but not as fast as the x class version. Anyway, later and thanks for the video.
@@maximumchargeEV I have a carbon fiber and titanium left leg and ride e-bikes because of that and never thought I would be on the machines or bikes ever again... the lady that saved my life was murdered but was a ballet dancer from age 3 to age 19 when she was declared legally dead... one of her organs failed in my body and nearly killed me... and she was her father's only daughter but she saved eight lives as an organ donor... any way I am very blessed surviving on borrowed time paid for by this amazing friend I met on an operating table whom part of her is alive in my body in her left kidney now. Since it is the Holiday Season of 2023 wanted to share this with you her video link not too long before her life tragically ended due to a drunk doctor driving intoxicated... really appreciate being able to make the most of what is left of my life but it came at a tremendous price paid for in a tragic way... be safe riding.... my donor was a ballet dancer from age three to age nineteen.. she was born on September 8th, 1992 and legally died on December 6th, 20111 and the next day she saved my life in a 12 hour surgery.... my best friend in this life that never spoke a single word to me... she keeps me alive... amazing lady.... ride safe on the e-bikes because even doctors can be stupid during holiday seasons and they drive drunk sometimes... and I wish you the best... thank you for the videos again and this is a link of the lady that saved my life... Morgan Leigh Judd... my best friend that literally paid for my life with her tragic death... .ua-cam.com/video/r6GIOo6gBGM/v-deo.html
Perfect timing for this video! I was just asking about the Garmin radar in the Wired group today. I haven't bought it yet but when I do, I'll use your link!
Even though that Garmin raider is pricey, it’s really nice I can tell. Thanks for mentioning it and not heard of it. Something I definitely will be adding in the next year. One thing you didn’t mention coming from the motorcycle space is the relatively new (in the last couple of years) Brake Free helmet rear helmet brake light. There’s a ton of cheap knock offs to put a light on the back of your helmet, but this is the only one I know of that has an accelerometer and gyroscope to light up extra break as you break. It’s the motorcycle and bike equivalent of the third brake light they put on cars in the center top of rear windshield years ago. Oh also, love my Knox Urbane Pro gloves (lightweight Moto gloves, with crêpe protection, using Knox’s famous microlock armor). So soft so comfortable, yet protective with great sliders on the palm as well
I just need a mirrior, and more ground effect lights for night riding. Lectric XP 3.0 long range. I would also add to your list an extra headlight and a speaker. Music helps the pedals go round!
Waiting for the delivery of my first e-bike (an OKAI - Ranger Electric Bike 'EB50-BLACK Class 2'). I live in the high desert of Southern California. I just had solar installed with a Tesla power wall, and I work 11 miles away. High winds are pare for the course out here. Thank you for your insights! The Radar is definitely on my list now, next to my rear-facing camera. But I will search for a tablet mount instead of just a phone mount. If I can't find one, I will make one. Stand by. And, thanks again!
Good Morning. My e-bike is custom with a side mirror, Fedog horn/alarm, INWA blue tooth speaker for music, a phone mount, bottle holder with a Thermal bottle, a flat key steel Kryptonite bike U-Lock, front and rear turn signals (it already came with front and rear lights with break lights), a scooter HOMCOM Trunk and a scooter seat with built in suspension. I also use a DOT open face motorcycle helmet. I also added a personalized 'JOE' license plate. I sent you a Facebook request for your private eBike Addicts group. Thank You for this Video and Ride Safe 😎
A couple of things. While Max here is evoking, he is really motorcycling with his ebike. Higher speed might require a motorcycle helmet. Helmets are designed for the level of impact. For a “proper” ebike max speed of 20 or so a bike helmet would work. I fear a motorcycle helmet will engage the deceleration features at high energy impacts, at lower speeds it might just transfer the energy. These bikes are really electric motorcycles. As there is little pedaling, the heated warmers are needed as the body is not generating extra heat. I agree with the Varia. Anyone on the road without one has a death wish. It is that good. The tone is more urgent if the vehicle coming is at a more dangerous speed.
I dont know why more people dont use a motorcycle helmet. I have a few since I ride motorcycles, but i am gonna get a motocross style one just for a bit more ventilation.
I got a bike pump that u use ur foot and it kicks ASS i had an ebike with the fat tires and it pumped full in a few steps not sure what its called but if u can find a step pump def recommend
I wish they would come out with Sunlight Readable TFT displays.. There are new displays like the new Garmin GPS displayes that actually get more visible when the sunlight is shining direcctly on the display.. all of the current displays look great inside or in the shade... That isn't where we ride, and if the sun hits the display All you can See is a black screen..

That and it keeps your face warm!
Better to be overkill in safety than killed.
Me & my friend both have motorcycle helmets it looks great , protects better , keeps bugs from hitting us in the face , keep us warm .
Very nicely done!
Thanks!
Nice..I got the same horn/alarm....nice. I got the Flat Out...have not put in yet....Great Video and Outstanding Information! Thank you!!!

Good recommendation on the light! I'll look into it. Thank you my friend
Excellent content..! Good job.!
Thank you my friend!
A set of t handle Allen wrenches is always nice to have.
very true, honestly forgot to mention generally to have some type of tool kit.

oof, I'm not a speaker guy.

Glad it was helpful!

My family thinks I am crazy for adding that and my baskets etc......what do they know....
I use a foxproframe RS to ride my e-bike I think it’s the perfect balance of lightweight and safety performance

Sounds awesome! Thanks for the comment!
They still hit lights and all
@catfish2. Those mirrors are perfect size.
I think you forgot to mention the alarm. You mentioned it but I don't remember seeing it in the video.
I think I mentioned it in another accessories video.

Do you prefer geared motor over non geared ?
Depends on how many watts the system has
Pretty sure the Pontiac Vibe was manufactured by Toyota!
It's almost entirely toyota besides the skin. Love that car.
Which bike are you riding?
Meelod dk300 max

true! only a matter of time until that's available.
opinions are not mandatory
That's just like... your opinion man
I don't use gloves during spring and summer.
ok you picked us product understandable.
Can't recommend cloud 9 enough. I went through 4 other seats before trying one. Don't be like me.
Cloud 9 is the best yessir!
You do realise mandatory means required by law not just an opinion?
Those mirrors need to be twice that size.
