The DS Lite is completely region free. The 3DS runs on the DSi chipset, and thus it will lock out any DS games that are region protected on the DSi. Otherwise, Japanese DS games work.
Have you updated to the UK or Australian version of the Pokemon typing game yet? I have the UK version and it's pretty fun. I really loved The Typing of The Dead on the Dreamcast!

Dang it, I don't know why I never heard of DQH Rocket Slime until early this year. Now, it's really hard to find anywhere. I missed out on a lot of good DS games. Maybe I should've continued collecting for it instead of focusing on PS3/360 games at the time when I first got those systems.
I was really surprised that you missed the greatness of The Dark Spire, (my favourite game on the DS), Usually you and I share the same taste in video games. Anyway, I do realize that The Dark Spire is NOT for everybody. Rock n´roll dude.

Relly good, didnt have a stylus but they are relly cheap. Came with the charger. A little dirt on it and a sticker but nothing i cant clean up, and it works!

The best are the first one, trials and tribulations and miles Edgeworth. Definitely pick them up

Can i tell you guys a diffrence between Nintendo ds games? If you have a darker bottom ds logo that means you have games from 2004 -2007 (early ds games) If you have a lighter bottom ds logo that means you have games from 2008- 2012 (late ds games) If you have games that say TWL on the very bottom you have games from dsi enhance games from 2009-2012 (dsi enhance games)

Not necessarily. I had a pretty huge collection but sold half of it cause I found it boring. In my opinion, the only good games in DS are the Phoenix Wright series, Animal Crossing: Wild World and Pokémon series and Dragon Quest series and Chrono Trigger is good as well. For me the best platform is PC and the worst is Super Nintendo. 😁
well obviously the 3ds. especiall since the pricepoint is little to nonexistent (dsxl to 3ds). gba sp + 3ds and you will be able to play any nintendo handhelg game since the original gameboy :)

Yes, DQ7 came out for the 3DS in Japan. I'd surprised if we don't get it here given we got all the DS games.
Chronologically in order of release. So, Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia is the order they appear on my shelf. :)

R4 is not illegal to own, or not illegal to use... but the games you put on it you must own in a physical form... (or at least i believe)

Just get an r4 card and download any game you want for free. I did that and I don't have to worry about spending money for DS games anymore
