Do you need to first save those styles (that you plan on copying) to 'custom style' saves- Prior to doing these steps? Especially if I'm not sure that all that formatting/editing in my template (to copy) was made using Styles options to begin with? For all I know, I just typed up a doc and added edit font features individually; Without ever touching Styles options... Get what I mean?
I've been saving the styles as a style set from the host document and then changing the style set in the document I want to change.
