Just a little trivia, the wide rectangular ridges are intented to mimic the floor of a pick up truck bed and a C 130 MILITARY CARGO PLANE. Those ridges were 1st patented in US for MILITARY aircraft but once the patent expired automakers started using them in Pick up trucks and SUVS. Am a RIMOWA AND HALLIBURTON owner and fan boy but this STERLING PACIFIC is hard to beat. The Leather details and the Script and interior design layout is hard to beat. Bro, You did a super good job reviewing this case and SP should endorse you. I have never heard of SP until I seen your video then I Google. $1400 bux is steep but some to consider
Thanks for watching, and thank you for the great info. Yeah they're a new company and sent me the case for me to check it out. I'm been using it for some trips recently. There are some things they can improve but so far so good with the carryon.
Just bought a 4 wheel trunk in Japan luggage that has a lock on the wheels, preventing it from rolling. And to level out the suitcase (sterling pacific) during unpacking your clothes, get a hotel towel fold and put it underneath.
Lack of spinner wheels might be a deal-breaker for some. An understandable design choice given the durability of the two wheel design versus flimsy spinners…. But spinner wheels are easy to replace/rebolt. It’s a huge nuisance when you’re traveling alone and trying to move two suitcases. One in each hand is cumbersome instead of rolling two together with one hand. It’s also not officially not a carry-on due to the extra size of the large wheels. The number one criteria to meet is that it is a CARRY-ON and strictly meets 22 x 14 x 9 (including handles and wheels) on domestic US flights.
Design is great but this simply does not command higher premium than Rimowa. It now costs more than a same size Rimowa Cabin which now carries a lifetime warranty. It does not have brand recognition. This would be very competitive if they price the same as Aleon. One can overlook the 2-wheel design with pricing that makes sense. Unfortunate because it's a handsome piece of luggage.
Great points, i can definitely see someone hesitating to pull the trigger because of the price. Start up costs do drive up the initial price of units which is the likely reason for a higher price. What makes this appealing to me is the trunk design which I haven’t seen many others do. Either way it’s good to have options. Thanks for watching.
Watch my two year review of this case to see how it's holding up

Love the look of it!
Thanks bro, very informative video.
Not being able to put anything on the top section is a deal breaker
I really want this case but it seems way to small compared to rimowa cabin. But def a work of art!!!!
