Thanks for highlighting the defenses here. I would be interested in step up type videos such as Spyder to a Sirocco etc. I personally would look at something like this for my progression over time and I am sure others also.
I have a few questions regarding propeller and cage sizes: 1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using 1.30m propellers compared to 1.40m propellers? 2. Which propeller size do you personally prefer and why? 3. Does a larger cage significantly impact flying performance? Thank you for your insights!
Great vid…. Again. Acro experienced pilots only I heard. Perfect intro and reminder that this could be bad medicine for the casual enthusiast that just likes defying gravity. Looks like an Icarus wing to me…. hint hint👍🏻. Great vid Mr. T!!!
very nice video, I just had a dream were I was paramotoring arend are house and was useing the electronic one you review not long ago, I also had a flaim thrower while doing it to.
Glad to see performance improvements but every company is always touting handling and efficiency like its off the chart but in reality its a marginal improvement. One big improvement is margin$. Crazy how light the material is but then you get companies like GIN using 40g material and they still launch superbly well.
I wonder how this one compares to the Wasabi? Its quite noticeable, the difference between an efficient glider and a fast reflex. Engine rpm at cruise and fuel burn especially. I find the efficient gliders like to dance with the wind, the less efficient, tend to just push the air out of the way.
Could you do a deep dive on the difference between standard and PK risers? I’m seeing more gliders available with the pk but not a lot of info on what they are exactly. I don’t have dozens of wings available to demo, so a quick video on them would be helpful. Thanks!
Seeing as how Icarus was one of my major inspirations to get into flying, would you go so far as to say that the Viper XC is for the pilot that wants to complete the race, and the Six is for the one that wants to win it? Either case there will probably be something new by the time I'm ready to step up into that range of glider so I probably shouldn't worry about it 😄
That’s tough. The difference in efficiency and speed is probably small enough that other real world factors would make it so either could win. But in a perfect world in controlled conditions, yes. The 6 would win.
This was great to have an awareness of what I could get into in the future. For now, if you have any opportunity to review the Ozone Trike wings, I'd really appreciate it.
Hello, have you tested the proton paramotor? I am very light weight and am doing my paramotor license in germany right now. I cant find a good paramotor matching my weight. Do you know about such paramotors which could possibly match?😂
Are there any glider (foils) that are reinforced with a frame? I guess there's kite surfing kites that have that like inflatable leading edge. I was just wondering if that was a thing especially in high speed gliders, to prevent collapse, but I'm not sure how well that would even work
Most expensive glider at $4,700??🤣. I know you probably only fly PPG, but they have at least 3 PG gliders I know of well over $6k. I don’t fly ozone currently but my glider was $5k. I do want to get a butt fan at some point to get some flying in after work, or when I can’t get out to the launch site.
They are definitely similar. I think the 6 is a little more playful and a little more efficient. Then the difference in materials makes the inflation easier.
I was going to buy an XC, then heard the 6 was coming out. I'm trying to determine which one is more appropriate for me since they seem almost the same. Should we be thinking of this as an upgraded XC? Or are there reasons I would still want to consider the XC over the 6 (other than fabric durability)?
Good question. The 6 kind of feels like an XC pro. Slightly better in every category, but less durable and more nervous in turbulence. I think the XC is better as an every day if that’s your goal. The 6 is better if performance is your goal.
Unsheated lines are a NO NO! These will tangle most impossible way and you untangle these already 15 minutes! Big time loss When wind starts to build up. Been there with apco f1
The Viper XC eh? You know what rhymes with "XC"??? EDIT: I know this vid's about the Viper 6 and not the Viper XC. Do you know what word has the same first-and-last letters as "SIX" ???
I love it, nearly the perfect wing for me the efficiency is insane and lightweight fabric is just so nice!
This glider in a larger size would be so good for electric!
Hi. What is the better electric or gasoline paramotor and why.
How many kg electric paramotor
It’s been quite a while since I watched your content, I forgot how cool paramotoring was
The flying pickle!
ha first to hit the ground will be a Pickle Wreck not to be confused with a Pickle Rick
Sweet! Have my eye on this or the XC for my next wing, so I was hoping you’d have a review soon, Tucker! Thanks as always, brother!
I love the color, and how it matches with the paramotor 🤙
Every time your upload notif comes up I immediately want to get out flying again 😆
Nice review. I'm planning to demo one from Aviator this month. Appreciate the thoughts ahead of time!
That 16m size sounds like a blast!
Great review Tucker. That wing is sweet. I love ozone products.
I can’t wait to get into this hobby

My Viper XC arrives Wednesday, can't wait! Thanks for helping me out with the order.
Did I hear you correctly, can we really request demo wings?
Stoked for you! And yes. It depends on what is available but feel free to shoot me an email!
Fabulous, Tucker. You rock.
I’m looking forward to flying one! But, I’m also digging the Freeride 2 / ViperXC quiver.
Same! It's such a great combo. The Viper 6 is almost like a Viper XC Pro.
Great vid…. Again. Acro experienced pilots only I heard. Perfect intro and reminder that this could be bad medicine for the casual enthusiast that just likes defying gravity. Looks like an Icarus wing to me…. hint hint👍🏻. Great vid Mr. T!!!

Viper 6 is the first glider in years that put a big smile on my face immediately

Hi, good review Tucker, the “design trade-offs” adequately commented upon. I suspect the “hardiness” of this wing, but it’s not for me anyway.

PK just adds another pulley and allows you to release the trimmers and bar in one push of the bar
Looks good!
You sent your heat wave to us. It hit 93 degrees in central NJ.
Wow, Almost $5,000 just for the wing, extremely expensive, no way man.

You need to go eat another sky burger
Thorough. Great review and information! There are no dealers in Louisiana, want to help me and a couple other adventurists start a dealership?
What is fuel efficiency improvement over the XC?
Good Morning!
That answers that question… it’s above my skill level and outta my price range
I’d love to know what your cruise RPMs are on the Viper six versus the Viper XC same size wing.
Might be good for the electric rig?
Definitely.
Electric paramotor endurance test!!!!
Already sent it to the giveaway winner though.
@TuckerGott oh I know but I was a great baseline known value of input that would've been ideal to evaluate new gliders :)
Gear reviews are ok, but I really miss the shenanigans/trips/adventures. Got any of those coming up? Not complaining, just asking.
Planning to do a road trip north this summer.
im thinking about getting the moxie, i have the mojo pwr 2 right now. If i want more safety and stability, would the moxie be the right choice?

Morty! *BURP* Morty look. I’m a glider Morty. I’m Glider Rick! Yeah baby. Big reveal!
What do you feel are the major differences between this and the Viper XC? They seem similar other than the unsheathed lines and fabric.
They are definitely similar. I think the 6 is a little more playful and a little more efficient. Then the difference in materials makes the inflation easier.
❤
How it compares to airdesign eazy 2?

You forgot to mention in the conclusion the word "advanced". Should be "If you're an advanced pilot that loves xc..."
How's it compare to the xc?
It’s like and XC pro. Slightly better all around at the sacrifice of probably less durability and more nervous in turbulence.
@@TuckerGott thx
I know.
Tucker, where did the paraglider Wing come from? Ask Amy: ua-cam.com/video/sKt-UyNwQHw/v-deo.htmlsi=9k3ZjIqc6EzP7b_W

That price oh, a bargin at 1/2 the price. . . .
Looks like a Photon with trimmers…
i want low performance just there and happy
The Mojo is perfect for that. 🤌
When is someone going to make a glider with clear fabric, so you can't see it..? 😂
$5k and they still make you pay shipping.
Dominic lightweight fabric just won't last
Ask people running schools on their bad experiences with lightweight fabrics
:)
Just a long winded commercial
*product review. I’ve done many of these. ☺️
Hi. What is the better electric or gasoline paramotor and why.

First
Ripped jeans and messy hair in a pick up truck.
3th view
if it was good you would own one! that fact that u don’t wanna own own tells a lot
That's not a great way to judge things, he just felt like it didn't suit him.
It’s very obviously better than good. I own a Freeride 2 and a Viper XC, both gliders in this same category. I have no need for another one.
