- During my holiday I re-glazed the last two panes of the bedroom windows, went on a long weekend to Oslo with my nephew (will make a Patreon video of a hike we did there). Then I spent four (!) days sewing four (!) sets of medieval clothes for the Medieval Festival in Visby.
So sorry after all your hard work you weren't able to wear your dress, that sucks. What a great job on all of those outfits. You are a Woman of many many talents, truly!!
Seing that your channel has grown a lot in the past few days makes me so happy for you! You are an inspiration to everybody actually, but especially for young women like me, that anything is in fact possible when you believe it and are patient! Guess you are also very talented, but your channel is teaching me skills I didn't know I need😊❤
No one is happer than me, I've been on clouds the last two weeks seeing so much love in the comments and being able to grow so much! I am particularly happy to hear you are learning things, this is also the goal of my channel, to give women more confidence to pick up some tools if that's what they want :-)
That cat lol, cuteness overload!
He sure knows it too 🤣
It's so amazing how you cope with making the materials, the things you use and the colours to play together in harmony.
You are also very creative in finding nice and discrete soltions for mounting and reparing when needed.
I really admire you for all this - and much more!
With love and huge respect.
Watching you working from Denmark. ♥️👌🙂🇩🇰
You did such a great job of the costumes your nephews will remember the day always.
They refused to take them off when travelling back home 😆
I have never seen that type of grout remover. Love your channel. ❤❤❤
Sorry we didn't see you in your gored dress, but it was great seeing your brother and his boys. Keep up the good work 😊
Maybe next year 😁
I am writing from East Tennessee. The Festivals i have gone to, we call Rennasiance Faires. I went to one in Texas and another in Ohio? Near Kings Island i think it was called. The costumes are amazing, the people are friendly so we really enjoyed ourselves.
I am anxious to see your house finished. I bet you are too.😊 So much work you have done. What lazy helpers you have but they are very cute to entertain.us. My back would be broken. 😮
take care.
Ah I see, I think at this one they focus more on the late Viking and Middle Ages, not so much the rennaisiance 🤔 interesting 😁 no, they don't help, more like inspecting 😉 I think to finish the whole thing and the property will take 10 years, can't wait for that day to happen 😁
What a delightful video! I am so happy I found your channel...cheers from Tasmania, Australia.
Thank you, I have re watched the last part many times myself 😆 good times
You’re an amazing person! I really appreciate you sharing this with us! Always enjoy your posts!
They say Gotland is magic island 😊
Hope to be there. So far visited Öland 😊
It really is 😄
Thank you for this wonderful video :)
Thank you for saying that 🫶
The windows look great.
Thank you :-)
Amazing what you have done!
Noggrant arbete med fönstren! Soliga hälsningar från Åbo! 🇫🇮☀️
Ja, det är ganska noggrant så det är lite terapeutiskt :-) Tack :-)
Beautiful work on both the windows and costumes for the boys!
Aww after all your effort. I guess you have a head start on hit costume for next year! ❤
Lovely video. Great job on both projects.
Great costumes 👏
Ah lovely🥰
Been looking forward to my next installment...lol
:-)
Hi! Could you share the name of the book with the historical clothing patterns? I just arrived at your channel and I feel so inspired by your work and beautiful renovations! Big hug from Porto, Portugal! 💜
Wow that's great 😁 you can find them here www.korps.se, they have mine but they are in Swedish. But this site also has others in english which might be easier
Moa, great job on those windows...a tedious job for sure. Are you concerned about lead exposure (you and your kitties) from all that old paint? There is a test for that. ;-)
Admirable job! Two questions (just curious). 1 Why strip and remake, since there was no wood that needed repairing or functionality being added. 2 Is there a reason for using putty instead or acrylic?
Great question! Both questions have the same answer. I use linseed oil paint and putty because of many reasons, but mainly because it's breathable, the oil in the paint penetrates the wood and protects/condition it instead of creating a protective plastic layer and its natural/sustainable. These are the same products used in the past and combined with good quality wood for the windows, they lasted for centuries when properly maintained. But if they were painted with plastic I need to remove it for the linseedoil paint to be able to do it's magic. Also it looks way better when removing decades of paint 🙂
Så snyggt jobbat med fönstrena! Var köpte du det fina linnetyget?
Selfmade 😁
I Malmö. Men vi köpte det i januari, kanske inte finns kvar?

How are the cats? The black one and the two peaches and cream ones?
They are fine. Lizzie the black one and oldest, 11 years, loves staying in the new bedroom and has taken possesion of it. So she was not happy when I had my first airbnb guests 😬
Do they still teach sewing in primary school in Sweden.
Yes they do, and woodworking. You can choose between those two and I loved both and used to alternate between them each semester 😆 I did a vlog in the past where I talk about this Slöjd as it's called when I did a course at Nääs castle and learned how to build wooden, bespoke and historically correct kitchens. The course was held in the same woodworking shop as they used over 100 years ago when teachers learned how to teach slöjd to kids. There were these amazing photos of women in large dresses working in tools in the same room unchanged just like in the photo.
Bra tips!
