Hi Rachael, I was 17 when I left - it was the earliest I could legally leave. And that's when I started really being able to freely express myself musically with the resources I needed. I don't have any contact with them and my life is much healthier for it xx

Thank you - it depends on the song. I choose sounds I feel serve the 'spirit' of each song, so I don't pay any particular attention to genre. I and my studio team spend a lot of time searching for the right sounds. This song uses bass synths (about three of them combined), an electric guitar - though it's quiet in the mix, harpsichord, choir, a whole string section, drum-kit, electro beats and other synth sounds here and there...I wanted to capture the frenzy of fear & trying to escape in this x
This problem, genre, has plagued me for a long time. I've wanted to try singing but my genre preferences are so varied that it would make a really strange album. However I've realized with singles becoming easier to release and get heard it's really given me the second wind in order to go further in my personal journey. Thank you!
