You bet It is important to me to be as down to earth and straightforward about these planes as I can be!

This was my first EDF jet, great aircraft, since then I purchased several different edf designs, but always come back to this one.

Another great review! I plan on getting into EDF jets this upcoming season and was looking for a good trainer jet. This plane seems to be a better fit for me budget wise than the Habu. My question to you is which one flies better? The Marlin or Habu? Thanks for all you do with your channel!

Well first off thanks so much!!! The HABU in the 4s I had one and sold it after graduating to the 6s version. Anyway the HABU is awesome but it floats and floats almost like a high wing trainer so in my opinion you don't get the edf discipline that you will get with the Marlin. Where the Marlin is better is that it will slow down enough to give a new edf pilot time to think but still keeps you having to stay one it. It gets you better prepared for faster stronger jets than the HABU does. Again my opinion based upon my personal experience.

Great how it handles the wind!! Great flying.. can i ask you what as3x values do you use on a new plane, using forward programming. Or do you just forward program the safe function, and use the default as3x parameters? Thanks

What I do is use the default parameters then put them on a dial to adjust in flight based upon wind or other variables. So what they end up being I have no idea.
