Great video. How many of these can you hook up to an analog doorbell? I currently have 3 ring doors all hw back to the analog chime but hate paying for cloud storage. I have hikvision cams on an nvr and like the idea of local storage and no cloud.

Great video! I agree that having the video recorded to SD card/NVR is more secure. I have installed several of the LTS OEM version of the HIK doorbell - both gen 1 and the gen 2. I have also installed a fair amount of Ring Doorbells - mostly the Ring Doorbell Pro. In my experience I have seen more issues/disappointments with the HIK doorbell... one main issue is the inconsistent motion alerts. With the new gen 2 HIK doorbell, I believe they added a PIR to assist with the motion and the settings indicates the distance of I think up to like 10 or 15 feet. However a couple customers reported erroneous motion alerts of vehicles going by (at 40 feet away) with the sensitivity turned all the way down. Ring Pro has always had the pixel based alerts and recently added software analytics to detect person that eliminates 99% of false motion detections (I know from experience with mine). Also, setup wise - the Ring just seems to be more user friendly and easier to do. ** I should also mention that I love HIK Vision, and I have a HIK NVR for my home system -and- its what I install for all my camera installations. So please don't take this as I am bad mouthing HIK at all. ** I would be curious to hear other experiences - especially if anyone has used an OEMed version of this doorbell.

How do you integrate doorbell video to NVR? Do you have to have the hikvision NVR system?

What exactly does the white 'power kit" do at the chime box ? Is it a capacitor or battery to help with the current surge at the chime solenoids ?

    Hello, thanks for the vidéo.
One question, how do you do to show all the cameras on TV?
    Thanks 😊

Great to see your video. Please post the video of Dahua DB11 to compare which one is better? compare video and audio quality, signal stable?

Does it do the one ding dong (like in video) or constant ringing? I have the KB8112 and it drives me insane that when someone presses it, it continues for 30 seconds and there is no way to change it.

      Hello Brett.
I'm currently doing some research as I want to install a Hikvision Intercom at my House. From this video and your comment, I see that it is possible to attach an analog chime to the system, but I have failed to find any documentation about it. Could you please provide some more information on how to do it?
      Tank you!

You got the SHITTIEST dahua available... Why didn't you go for the VTO2101E-P, or the VTH2421FB-P Hell, even a VTO2111D-P is better. They have wifi versions as well.
