Am I missing something here? 40k a month (after taxes?) is crazy. That’s like 700-800k annually. Her treat yourself is more than what I spend in a month

She had a good month and made a video. Also, this is her business account, not personal account. This is “spending” from revenues. Not profit.
She has names for her spending, but we still don’t know what she’s really spending on. How do you know that “add a zero” isn’t an account that she uses to spend on marketing? We don’t. Don’t believe everything you see.
I don’t think this was meant as a comparison from what she spends to what you spend, more of this being a “template” of how to allocate your income for your lifestyle while investing in your future retirement.

I started paying more attention to my money and learning how to manage them properly thanks to you :) I wanted to do something with my money, but didn't know how and everything seems so intimidating. You and Graham Stephen are able to break down the concept into smaller practical pieces that I can actually follow. I bought an used car for 5k in cash in college, able to save most of my money by living with my parents, and now after working full time for few years I'm able to purchase the house of my own. I don't own anything except for mortgage. I read all the books you mentioned, and have a different mindset towards money. Thank you so much for sharing the knowledge, I bet it helps many people (as at least me!) on their financial freedom journey! :)

I recently made further purchases. Saving for a market slump is also a bad idea. There are different perspectives on recessions and depressions; we cannot always expect significant rewards; and taking risks is preferable to doing nothing. The bottom line is that by diversifying your portfolio and making sensible judgments, you will accomplish exceptional outcomes. In just 5 months, my portfolio's raw earnings increased by $608k.

I "live well on a budget" by direct depositing spending money into a specific account every paycheck. No guilt attached. I can spend it on anything! It has been a game changer for me.

Example: I mistakenly paid a bill twice and when I got a credit check back I immediately added it to my online Acorn emergency account. I did think of applying it to bills, but I was more excited about saving it. It’s so lovely to have emergency monies when you are challenged with the unexpected water bill or car repair bill or house repair bill. Thank you very much!!!

I live next door to a national park in order to easily enjoy low-cost outdoor activities. The cost of accomodation is a bit higher here than elsewhere but overall the savings, not to mention quality of life, are completely worth it. e.g. no more expensive vacations!

Clothing! I like to look nice, or classy at my 40s, I get my ideas from Pinterest then I just adjust. Same with my youngest son, my two older sons are adults so I let them have their own clothing budget :)

Hey Rose why do you not buy the VT etf? It is basically your 2 roth ETFs combined and you do not have to rebalance it in the future. (Lets say us stocks go from 55 to 40 percent of the global market in the next 20 years)

I love that you have Sinking Funds. I started doing this after taking Dave Ramsey’s FPU class. Emergency fund, Sinking Funds, monthly bills, and food & gas account for groceries, gas, and eating out (occasionally). The food & gas account has been really useful in helping me reign in my spending. I figure that by controlling this expense, I can choose to save or invest more. Also, I had been really strict about budgeting over the last several years since becoming a widow, but then I realized that I was reverting to the bad habit of over spending. The food & gas account helps me be more intentional. I transfer money into the food and gas account once a month.
