This episode was like the star wars movies you pretend never happened
Couldn’t make it through the whole episode.
0 knowledge 100 shilling: Bankless
first animal spirits ever couldn’t make it though.. always watch the compound videos right to the end, but sorry- can’t at 26 mins in… can’t wait for michael and Ben to be back (alone)!
lol glad i read the comments before sinking an hour into this
dang it's been 15 years already. Any use cases for it yet?
You can buy pizza
Same as gold, but you will actually make money.
I am a huge Animal Spirit fan and what content they cover, but I was not feeling this show at all.
Please guys don't go full shitcoin please
“We can afford to lose money, a lot of money. We can not afford to lose reputation. Not even a shred of reputation.” - Warren Buffett
The crypto base is wealthy and populous... You mean all the wealthy people with their monkey JPEGs? 😂😂😂
Ben & Mike are checked out
As they should.
QUESTION: If you ‘unplug’ the electrical power from these places that source Crypto then what asset do you actually have?
If you 'unplug' the money you have in the bank, what money do you actually have?
you cant unplug them all! That's kind of the point.
@@Miggy2j how do you unplug money?
that's the whole decentralization pitch... you can't unplug strong crypto networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum... China has tried 4-5 times already...
Every btc node carries the whole crypto code. If power is turned off on all nodes for 100 years as soon as 1 node is turned back on the system is back on line. Michael Saylor on Lex Freidmen explained a lot about bitcoin.
I'm not the biggest fan of the Bankless guys but crypto, especially Bitcoin is something every investor should hold. Even if it's a 1% of your portfolio. I'm glad you guys are talking about crypto.
Great video and interview as always!
after listening to this i find myself wanting to short crypto in general lol. listening to These guys is the ultimate bear case for crypto IMO
Great show. I have a small allocation to crypto so it's nice seeing this
There’s crypto and then there’s Bitcoin.
I like the point about CC companies charging 3%. There is room in our system for improvement. Crypto still needs to prove it’s a real path to an upgrade
Interesting interview. Thanks. While I am glad they put some of the conversation in the present political context, I would like to know how they know that 20% of voters hold crypto. Our 1st amendment rights give us the right to spread misinformation; so I would double check this number as I would with any political statement/"fact" before I would take this as real fact.
1:00:27 don’t make this a regular thing
loved having the bankless guys on! cheers
Thanks for watching!
Regardless of what someone thinks about Bitcoin or Crypto. I don't get the concept of "talking" about Crypto. I get it. Buy it, it goes up, you sell it , you make money. Why do you need to talk about it? There is no cash flow, profits , new CEO and new business strategy. There is literally ZERO analysis. Either you buy it and hope to sell it at profit, or you don't. The most boring investment a human being can make. But enjoy it. those who do...total yawn of a discussion topic.
I like podcasters without scraggly beards🎉🎉🎉🎉 thank you for grooming like a grownup🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
10 minutes in, all the "like, like, like," well, like couldn't like handle it .
It the voice inflation that makes a statement sound like a question that grates on me.
Like gag me with a spoon
And for conservative Ben ...really ..bitcoin
35:04 ben, isn't tom lee a "stock maxi"? Lol
The crypto discourse is something I always find interesting - I guess I attribute that to it being a neat crossover between my two interests of tech and finance. However, I can’t help but think the vast majority of the Animal Spirits audience is best served not participating in crypto beyond small positions in BTC and ETH ETFs.
I hear a lot of "not your wallet not your crypto" stuff. Would an ETF fall under that same issue?
@@scottwilly86 I figure most Animal Spirits listeners are more likely to have a “Lost your keys, not your crypto” issue if they tried to self custody.
Loved this episode!! Colab of the year.
Great episode
I’d bet all my bags that this was Michael’s idea
Mine too. This has Michael written all over it.
Yeah do this once a quarter at the least
Been watching both of these pods for years! Love this crossover 🔥
AS team: this cross-pod idea is awesome!!! more of this quality get-to-know-our-network and sharing!!! 🎉 keep it uuuupp!!!
Holy Moly did not expect this crossover.
They should use crypto to track transactions from the hedge funds in current time, so everything is in the open n fair and equal. To many secrets with delayed data and crypto can save that
What a sick crossover!
After the first 50 likes, I was like...done. It's a shame. They are smart guys. How does this happen? My junior high teachers broke us of this kind of thing. He has a college degree..
Good one.
34:26 this is absolutely terrible. These clowns come on your show and tell the world they are single issue voters. These politicians see them coming. I’ll keep listening but I am sure you all are regretting this shit.
Surprise animal spirits!?
Michael and Ben look bored.
I had Ben's face halfway into the intro, skipped around a bit... wasn't feeling it.
Hilarious
they wouldn’t be the only ones
No thanks on ETH
This is a scam disguised as revolutionary technology 😂😂
worlds collide
Amazing episode
Tradfi is the worst thing I've ever heard 😂
Party On With My Friends! 🥳🥳🥳👌👌👌✌️✌️✌️
Never forget when Richard Heart made Bankless guy cry on stream. Can’t wait to see the cope when RH beats the SEC.
Hilarious just looked it up😂
That was SBF, don't flatter yourselves
Did Michael just say that he picked stocks in his IRA for fun? Bro the IRA is not a investment vehicle for fun stock picking do that in a regular brokerage account what the heck lol
Assemble the Finance Supergroup
Our powers combined we make Captain Downtown Josh Brown lol.
“Crypto wasn’t created to make you rich , but to set you free “ Speaking like the true crypto shill . Michael doesn’t have any credibility, but didn’t expect stooping to this level from Ben.
Nobody cares what you think
The same was said about LSD.
I care and agree lmao
Really disappointed in this episode. Id be curious to know how much Ben & Michael were paid to promote these guys
I'm sorry, but this episode is not it.
This is cringe, and still nobody uses eth for any of the lauded use cases.
These Bankless peeps are clowns
Comment on the podcast: please don’t invite these guys again.
Comment on crypto:Crypto adoption will not be driven by ideological nonsense like “individual sovereignty”, it will be driven by institutional needs for regulatory compliance.
Trying to hype their ETH bags. This is sad.
super sad
Yeah bankless is full of scammers they are “advisors” on so many scammy projects
It’s not like ETH or BTC is terrible at all right now. ETH will probably go to ATH when the ETF is announced. I don’t own either btw but I don’t think they are pumping it.
Cope
Sell outs
Holy shiet, this is my wet dream podcast combo!!
Bring these guys on again!
🤮🤮🤮
These guys have always been and will always be ETH pumpers trying to sound smart. Its been yrs since Ive heard from them, hope its a few more before the next time.
these guys are not technical at all, get someone from lightspeed with actual knowledge and background instead of these shills
It's gonna end w/ the collapse of USDT
Not a fan of this one, sorry guys.
