0:26 in the back ground you can see a historically accurate piece of equipment, it uses were as widespread as unknown but the allies used it mostly for jumping over anti tank obstacles and the germans even had a special branch of the luftwaffe with special training for this thing. Sadly they were quite fragile and a lot of them were lost
And this one is still in fantastic condition.. Unbelievable.. It's amazing to see someone like this in person.. I even touched it!! Definitely one of the most amazing things I've ever seen!
Couldn't agree more. He is one of those UA-camrs that does not upload super often, so you sometimes forget he is in your subscriber list. But when you finally get a new video from him, oh boy... it is like Christmas morning!
This comment will be a little long and for this I apologize. But, it must be said. Your content in this niche is second to none. I have followed you and your friends for about 2 years or so and I enjoy your content. Everything from digging up battlefields, digging trenches and bunkers in your yard, unboxing videos to museum walks and reenacting. Stellar. I am an American and I appreciate what you do. Thank you, HS.
Nick you inspire me with all ur collection I have 2 ww2 us uniforms M1 carbine with sling and I'm planning to make a concert bunker with sand bags and barbed wire
Finally a new video!! I've waited for part 2! And Nick, I use you videos a lot for my extra credit for in my history class especially in the world war two portion of it. I've watched your videos for about 3 years now and I've learned so much from you. Thank you for keeping this wonderful part of history alive.
Thanks Nick! Since so many of our heroes have succumbed to old age and moved on to their final resting place, I'm really thankful to see what you are doing to keep the memory of them alive. It's great to see so many people come out to see you along your route and in the camp.
Greetings from Northeast Ohio United States. Awesome video my grandfather fought in World War II he fought in Italy and in north Africa. He did not really talk about the war but he said he seen some horrible stuff. And he lost some good friends. Sadly he passed away a while back. He was a truck driver he would haul supplies and soldiers to the battlefield.
Nick you have really put a big impact on my life I have been watching your videos since the first time you build your trench and made a video in it. And now I'm doing reenacting as a Deutsche Soldaten apart of 2. Panzer Division, 38 Pioneer Battalion, 5th Kompanie and currently as I am telling you this I am actually at an event in the states right now. I can't express how much of an impact you really have put on my life thank you Nick and keep uploading.
Wow, that is so unbelievably awesome to read!! Seriously, that made my day!! It makes me proud, hearing stories like this.. I'm happy to hear I made such a big impact on your life! History lives on!! Thank you for your nice comment, keep up the great work soldier!!
Damn i wish i could show you my collection, you would love it, its grown since the last time i saw your trench video a couple years ago lol, i have like 20 world war 2 vintage firearms and i have the permits now so they all fire live ammunition, including the M2 .50 Cal and the MG42 but i find myself taking out all the small arms to have fun with at the range because thier easier to carry hahaha!!!
Thanks Nick your videos are so awesome and they remind me of my grandfather who i miss dearly. I hop your gonna do some more trench and bunker videos. Very awesome what you are doing and it truly means alot my friend.🙏😇🤘😎🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸👍
@@History-Secrets Thank you for saying that.he was in US 5th Army. an infantryman under Gen Mark Clark in the Italian Campaign The liberation of Sicily and Rome. (Anzio,Monte Casino ,Grand appenine valley.)
@@patriotic80 Wow, a real hero.. But what a huge coincidence this is.. I was listening to a song the other, it's called whisky lullaby, it's about a soldier coming back home from war, a nice but sad song. But I noticed in the video clip, this soldier was wearing a patch of the U.S. 5th Army. And I remembered I had the same patch in my room upstairs, so I took it downstairs, and it's now next to me.. And now you tell me about your grandfather, that's a pretty big coincidence! He was a true hero, and remember, a body is just a tool.. A soul will always live on, he will always be by your side!
Finally the second part. We always wait so long for your videos but it's worth it because they're all super high quality and I could rewatch them all day
Hey Nick my dad has his grandfathers m1 helmet liner that i think is made of kevlar I was wondering where I could get the steel part(origanal) for a good price.
I remember stories my great grandfather used to tell me about the Netherlands when he was there during WW2, he told me of how happy the people were when they marched into town, and how they'd cheer and laugh. He also told me a story of how some Dutch villagers went and covered a fallen Americans during the battle of Overloon.
Hello Nick. Greeting’s from Canada. Thanks for part 2 another awesome video! I love watching every one of them. I’m a big history buff/military collector so watching ya vids is always enjoyable & gives me comfort. I love that M1 Garand you have. I myself have a fully working 1943 M1 Garand Springfield Armory 30-06. I take it to the range as much as I can, it still shoots tried and true for a 79 year old rifle it always gets folks jaws dropping every time I take it out. Lol It also has become my main hunting rifle. Anyways thanks for all the awesome entertainment. looking forward to much more. :)
I love it! Seeing the convoy, people, guns and history🪖. I wonder if there’s going to be a part 3️⃣. I wis there were re-enactments in Turkey 🇹🇷. I love the video 🎥!
