I absolutely love Diamondback Firearms! I’ve been trying to tell people to check them out for awhile. As you stated they are very under appreciated, and underrated as a company. One of the best looking AR’s, the hand guard looks amazing as well as their lowers. Way to go DB!
It’s my signature gun, everytime i go to the range someone wants to shoot it and of course i let them so they can see how nice it shoots and hopefully inspires them to get one, i added a 2 point sling, a side flashlight and a holosun solar and battery powered sight, i highly recommend looking at holosun sights a good one cost $300+, this gun with the right tools is very accurate and crazy fun and ready for any situation ...!
They had some growing pains as a new company, but they have really stepped up in quality and value. They have really become a great American firearm manufacturer
Never fails. The firing pin retaining pin never did make anyone look like a pro. LOL! I've been handling the AR platform since '87 when I joined the Marine Corps. 24 years of M-16's, M-4's, and AR-15/10's they still will be the same pain in the ass they always have been. Sweet rifle. Now to the range sir.

Mine will be here in 3 days, super excited. I’ll update once I shoot it this weekend. Luckily we live in Alabama on a farm, so we can go out in the back yard and shoot whenever we want! Freeeeeeedommmmm
@GBGuns man.. I'm kinda devastated. I live in Michigan, and it appears that we put a ban on AR15's starting January this year. I don't know what to do.
@GBGuns I'm so confused.... I'm looking at a sporting goods site here and apparently they still sell them.. I will hopefully still be getting this gun very soon. 🙏
@GBGuns I own it now. Lmao. I called several places and ended up finding one an hour away. It was the last one. Originally $800 , but on sale for $699, so after tax, it was like $742 . Came with 1 magazine. I'll stop blowing up this feed now, I promise. Thanks again.
Pretty much what I needed to know as a newbie to AR-15s I cannot wait to hit the range. Absolutely love my DB-15 been shooting Savage's and Mossberg for a long time My first gun was an New England 410 single barrel. Never will forget taking my first deer with it. 12 year old and out shot a hunter using a 7 mm Remington. I asked him "Was you aiming directly at the deer? If you was you was shooting where he wasn't. Gotta lead with a scope." Nice big 8 pointer buck got dropped by a 12 year old with a rifled slug.
Found ONE on gunbroker recently. Was looking at Saint Victor AR as I have the Saint Victor 300blk pistol, but after watching this video and the daily shooter, i ordered this one! Great video and absolutely swayed my decision! Be here Wednesday and cant wait to shoot it
I love my DB15 and it is one very accurate 5.56 regardless of what i feed it... how ever bought mine a couple years back and it is no where near as pretty as that one... still wouldn't trade it for gold... but seriously they really sweetened that piece up quite nicely and I wold but another one like that maybe in 300 BO if I come across one after the craziness slows down....
I have a cpx-1 red dot. The only thing I have done is install a trigger kit($25) it reduced the pull from 8 lbs, to4 lbs. I didn’t like the external safety but it didn’t get in the way. Pretty accurate out to 20 yards, I haven’t tried farther than that.couple of weeks ago I found a real good deal on a cpx-2. The trigger pulled at 6 lbs. and it was smoother than my cpx-1. SCCY makes a good product for not much money. Both of my pistols have been reliable. I will have to shoot a couple of 1000 rounds through the cpx-2 before I trust it but my cpx-1 is my ccw.
The front end of the lower is designed to be rounded so that if and when you take the break down pin out, the upper doesn't slam down on the lower.. it stops it at about 45 degrees so your fingers won't get crushed.
Bought DB15DB today. Loved this video. Did not wait for a DSB to become available as waited 6 weeks. Looks like worth the wait - can’t wait to shoot it. 😁
I’m currently building an 8” 300 Blackout Pistol (with a Superlative Arms Adjustable Bleed Off Gas Block), an DBF upper, DBF BCG, DB15 9” Handguard, Radian Raptor Charging Handle, Radian Talon Ambi Safety, Sharps Bros Livewire Lower, Hiperfire Hipertouch Competition Trigger, Kaw Valley Magnum Linear Compensator, Strike Ind. Forward Assist, BCM Pistol Grip, SB Tactical HBPDW brace, CMMG Lower Parts, Inforce light and Holosun LS117G (laser)/HE510C GR (optic). I can’t wait to cycle supersonic and sub cartridges through it! The DBF build quality is impeccable and the upper’s fitment with the Sharps Bros Livewire Lower is spot on! And, the DB15 9” handguard is majestic! Yes, I could have save $ and purchased something already made, but my 8 incher has a look all of its own and feels good in my hands!
I just picked up the black gold model and am looking forward to giving it a shot. I have t really seen too many thing on these guys ar15’s but I wanted to give them a try. It seems they use Azimuth bcg’s as indicated by the rear of the gas key being rounded. I hope it is reliable and rugged enough for a home defense rifle! Thanks Graham!
I have the pistol version of this with a flash can installed from DB. I need to remove the handgaurd for my suppressor but when I remove the set screw, the handguard doesn’t budge. There’s a nut at the bottom that becomes loose once the screw is removed that seems to be keeping the handguard attached still. Any help?
I had the same problem. I pulled the spinner forward and then inserted the pin it seemed to work the best . been there buddy had to walk away from it too
Yes, but that can also reduce its retention strength. I often wonder how many times while we're shooting the platform that pin doesn't walk out a little and then walk back in.
Im a new gun owner I just purchased this weapon the 10 inch one some friends are telling me it is illegal to have it because my stock can move and i shouldn’t have that on a AR pistol can someone help me understand
Happy you have had good luck with diamondback i purchased 2 of the more basic rifles and got my butt kicked both just had many quality issues. hope they are doing better now.
Purchased one of these rifle. The only thing I don't like about it is the hand rail. Had to add picatanny to the m lock on top of the rail. Made the hand rail a lil bulky. With a lil practice I'm still able to run it effectively
My DB15 works great and here it have even more value becouse other ARs are more expensive in Poland, while DB15 prices used to be very similar to US prices. Best AR rifle for the money you can get in Poland now.

Oh, I hate those stupid Cotter keys! I even took one to a grinder to make the end a point and it only marginally helped. The solid pins are working slightly better for me. It’s weird how the keys just suddenly decide to fall in. That DB15 looks pretty darn sharp!
I have a Smith and Wesson m&p sports upper receiver attached to my diamond back lower receiver. Is that a good idea or no because I heard the m&p is overall better than the diamond but idk much about guns I'm new
AR's interchange without problem, you shouldn't have any issues there, but whoever told you S&W was better didn't know what they were talking about. You really can't beat a Diamondback. The S&W might be as good, but I can't imagine how it could be better.

Does the CMC trigger come with the gun?
every body knows the chamber flag is just the right size to push out the pins to do a take down right
Did you have any issues with mil spec mags???or when should i expect the field review??

The one I purchased didn't, same rifle no backup sights. I was looking forward to saving those few bucks lol

That sounds like a question for trigger maker.
