As a Psychotherapist, couples therapy is one of the most dynamic forms of therapy that I practice. Listen no matter why you separated you go thru a grieving period. When I lost my husband I visualized my life like waves- sometimes the grief was like giant waves crashing down and sometimes they were like ripples. Now, 10 years later, the seas are calm, and although I still miss him terribly, my life is lovely and full of joy. Give yourself time to heal, go through the emotions, but know that peace will come. I’ll be praying for you.

As a Psychotherapist, couples therapy is one of the most dynamic forms of therapy that I practice. I often witness see that two people have made a beautiful life together but the ever movement towards our own self-actualization, much like a utopic horizon, takes us along a new path, a path that requires us to be unfettered from others because we need all of our energy. Regardless of your situation, I am happy to see that you are settling into a new home. And, your inspiration photos of your re-build are stunning!

Listen no matter why you separated you go thru a grieving period. When I lost my husband I visualized my life like waves- sometimes the grief was like giant waves crashing down and sometimes they were like ripples. Now, 10 years later, the seas are calm, and although I still miss him terribly, my life is lovely and full of joy. Give yourself time to heal, go through the emotions, but know that peace will come. I’ll be praying for you.
