You have trained your children so well, they know what they require for a long trip. Forest is becoming a big boy. He is explaining how to make hot dog. So sweet.
Cool teachers & parents (Mr & Mrs Ruschs, sorry if I spelled that wrongly, I didn't mean to destroy your surname) & three wonderful, well behaved kids (Granite, Cedar & Forest). I love this channel. Kelly (Mama Rusch) is the best mum. She's vegetarian, but she's okay with the family although they don't share the same diet. Big ❤❤❤❤❤ from Malaysia, guys!!!
I'm from Papua and I'm studying in the US and I just found your video on youtube and now I really enjoy and love watching your family’s trip, very inspiring! 😍🫶🏽
Hi. I'm from Malaysia. An English language teacher. I love watching all your vlogs and learned a lot. I even shared your videos with my students. One suggestion, do fly to Sabah in Malaysia. Lots of beautiful islands u should explore like the Pulau Tiga (survivor island), Manukan Island, go to Kundasang, Pulampong, etc...
Thank you for sharing your packing method. I always over pack and really have trouble deciding what to bring when traveling and organizing too . This video really helped me. Also hats off for being able to package so efficiently for 5 people! Amazing! 👍 😊
I'm so impressed on how you guys really packed all those stuff in the backpack, nice packing videos! I enjoyed watching it. Looking forward to seeing the next vlog, stay safe and enjoy the long trip!
Kids is getting taller and granit is handsome and good big brother 😘enjoy the vacation and looking forward to the next blog, I hope I can see you guys if your going to New York I’m a big fan of your family especially the kids😘😘😘
Great video Bagspacked family!! I stayed in Tembagapura for about a week for work around 20 years ago. I love it.. I hope you guys include some footage of the ride to Timika, I remember some really beautiful sights along the way. Have a fun and safe trip. Btw.. just found that Amazon sells Kecap Manis Bango just in case you guys run out while in the US 😊
What a lovely family. Just found your channel from my youtube recommendation and absolutely love your content. Can't wait for the upcoming east-west Java trip !!
nice job daddy jon & mommy kelly! you can speak bahasa indonesia very well! in surabaya martabak is another fried dish (google it), instead the cake called terang bulan. forest is so smart! nice tips! keep update!
If you guys in Java look for sambal called jawara, they have a portable package and i always asked my family to bring some whenever they come and visit me in states
It’s humid in 🇮🇩 that’s why not many conditioners in the store, people’s hair rarely gets dry, but I think you’re right you’ll need it to use conditioner in cold weather like in Tembagapura. I always apply hand lotion during cold weather. I ❤️ your channel!
have a fun and safe trip looking forward to the Alaska vlogs because i grew up there when I was younger Dont forget to bring back some Kecap Manis back to the States! Don’t you think Forest is now the right age to train and start him to wear and carry a small Backpack? Have a wonderful trip
✨Thanks for sharing this video on how your family does efficient packing.✨ Hi again, bags pack family!! Ini Kuching, Sarawak we called you guys fav desert (murtabak) " Apam Balik". The "spicy chicken" that Jonathan had with the green veg in it is actually the leaves of the tumeric root which we called "daun kunyit". And the seeds you guys saw in the sambal is called "asam jawa". It is used to add the sourness to a dish. Since Kelly is a vegetarian I recommend her to try another kind of sambal called " sambal petai". I think they have that in Indonesia.I can't help noticed that you guys like "kicap manis". There is another version of kicap manis but spicy and is called "kicap pedas". Overall I enjoyed watching your vlogs and I cant wait to see you soon. Hugs from Kuching, Sarawak.❤
@@BagsPackedFamily Aw shucks. I saw the commercial again via UA-cam, just search for Airasia advertisement (the latest and newest one) However, based on my second perusal, it is indeed not Kelly. :D
I do hope you guys managed to bring the kecap manis! From the video it seems larger than 100ml and you guys mentioned that you weren’t checking in your belongings.
Perfect, loved this…great to find this vlog. We are a fam of 5 doing 3m trip in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand. We’ve switched to bkpks too. My oldest will carry a 40L then we have two younger kiddos who we’ll have to carry gear for so trying to decide if my husband + I each carry 2 x 4OL (which would wrk great for carry ons but be really hot with a bag front + back 😅) or just do a 70L bag each… I know air asia’s limits are 7kg pp so I’m going to weigh everything + decide…

We're traveling full-time with our 3 kids and will also make a visit back to the US soon. I've been figuring out what to pack (more than what you're bringing) for our upcoming 3 month trip.
