- Arecanut/ Betelnut botanically known as Areca catechu, is a tropical plant found all over South East Asia.
This tree belongs to the palm tree species and is from the Arecaceae family. The fruit (nut) of this tree is popularly known as the betel nut or supari in India.
Our Farm is located in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, Malnad area.
December is the season for harvesting 1st phase of Areca.
If you are new to my channel, I post vlogs of our dogs Rana (Greatdane) & Jimmy (Mudhol Hound) in our farm.
First time I’m posting other than dog videos just for diversification.

Sir what all chemicals are added to boil raw arecanut
No chemicals are added in processing Arecanut.
The least possible case is some people add food colour while boiling to get that red colour.
But we get that colour by adding naturally available tree barks and others stuffs
