This is a fascinating topic! Exploring how Asian farmers harvest cashews and how they are processed in modern factories is a great way to gain insight into agriculture and technology. Cashew farming techniques not only showcase the ingenuity and perseverance of farmers, but also provide insight into the process of bringing a high-quality product to consumers. This is a must-see for anyone interested in agriculture and food production!
This is a very good video. However, it didn't mention that the raw cashew in the shell contains a dangerously poisonous chemical called Urushiol that is removed during processing. Also, the cashew fruit is edible and sweetly delicious, although it does have an unique flavor. It also makes a refreshing fruit juice beverage. Cashew trees also thrive in Central America, especially in El Salvador where it is an important food crop.
This reminds me of a school project back in junior high when we had to give a list of what we would do with the cashew fruit so there would be no waste. Ah, the memories. 💭
Your video about cashew nut is AWESOME! I found the video very interesting. You might find our channel useful as we deal with the topic of cashew nut and nuts in general. Well done and keep up the good work!👏👏
Cashew nuts stand as a testament to the elegance of nature’s provisions, offering a harmonious blend of taste and health benefits. A distinguished choice for the discerning consumer
The video begins by showing farmers carefully picking the cashew apples from trees. One interesting fact about cashews is that they grow outside the fruit, which means that each cashew apple only yields one nut. This makes harvesting cashews a labor-intensive process that requires a lot of patience and attention to detail.
I'm from lndonesia. I used to have some cashew trees in my yard. My family never threw away the fruits (we call them jambu monyet) but we made them into jam or used them to make spicy salad.
Org malaysia kalau tk dpt bersaing dgn pasaran produk negara luar mulalh claim gajus tiruan lh. Padahl yg gajus campur tepung tu biskut. Biskut dgn kacang gajus ori pun x tau beza. Lps tu x dpt menerima knyataan konon kata pghasilan gajus sgt rumit. Mcm x logik boleh jual murah. Kau buat cara manual mmg lh rumit. Org luar buat dlm kilang semua proses mesin yg buat. Ladang dorg lagi luas dari negeri perlis.

Great video so interesting to watch how it's done, Cashews are one of my favorite nuts to eat (salted or honey roasted), anyway the video did not show or explain how very toxic raw cashews are and how they make them safe to eat.
Aaah, indahnya kenangan masa kecil...
I love watching Noal Farm videos and I love cashew nuts. In other videos you chop down the trees and grow other fruit or nut trees but taking into consideration how long the trees takes to grow and then bare its fruit or nuts, isn't it cheaper to leave the trees and wait for next season's harvest .... or am I wrong ¿?
I love cashews but I would not go near them before they are processed. Cashew trees are from the same family of plants as poison oak, poison sumac, and poison ivy. I am very allergic to those.
With so much handling during the processing cycle there must be a lot of broken pieces that don't make it into the bags. Does the factory use this material?
No wonder cashews are expensive to buy. Look at the work that goes into getting them to the shops. Amazing. I'll appreciate them much more now.
This video is a good reminder to appreciate the little things in life. Without all this care and processing we would not be enjoying cashews.
thank the farmers who worked hard to plant and take care of them
Trust me roasting them without factory is a lot more fun

Great. I never thought that it takes too many steps to prepare Cashew. This is why it is costly.

So, it starts with Vietnamese farmers harvesting.
Then it swaps to processing factory with Indian sub-continent workers.
How does that work?
Farmers are spread overseas, but not every farmer have a processing factory.
This is simple.
