I wonder if you can tune how loud you want it by the amount of the screen you cover with the tape and still put packing in it
i bet adjusting your carb and using proper muffler packing would help alot

I first tried to wind up the tape, leaving the packing, but the glue just burned out and the aluminum tape flew off.

You sir need to invest in a new camera, haha. See about getting a small canon or Sony point n shoot that does 4K.
The exhaust is meant to have packing to dissipate some fumes and break up the sound. Without it the bike will have less low end power and have a TRASH tone...unless you like boggy low end and straight pipe two stroke sound
I still have crazy bottom end power, it will pick up the wheel from a stand still in third gear take offs. The sound didn’t change much at all it’s just louder. One down side is it leaks oil more. Video coming soon on what it’s been like with it for over a year.
@@Faix.Garage a fresh packed exhaust will still make the bottom end power smoother and hit the power better regardless of how it feels without it. It’s intended to have the packing in the exhaust. Unless you’ve jetted the carb it should 100% run better with the packing in. It won’t be a big enough difference to notice unless you ride every day or unless you’re racing someone but it will for sure make a difference

Haven’t taken it apart yet but it’s still runs and sounds good!
I dont use neither you loose low torque and gain a bit high but i love to hear the bangs with the killswitch
