I was literally watching episode 1 of the OG playing yugioh properly when this popped up. Can’t wait this is gonna be the best series yet!
Loved the first series of Playing Yugioh Properly, it's actually what got me back into Yugioh. Went to the Structure release event for Crimson King a couple weeks back and picked myself up 3 of these decks, and now I see this. I am so excited for this series of PYP. Thank you Revz
Seriously considering getting into yugioh with 3 of this structure, sychros and RDA were my jam when i was a kid and your insights are always interesting to me as someone who hasnt played nearly as much as hes watched in the last few years!

I've been a massive fan of yours for the past three years from watching the OG dragon link playlist to now, always happy seeing new videos, glad to see season two of properly is here, it gets me thinking of the future of these challenges maybe season three will be xyz, season four will be pure links, or it could be swapped who knows i myself am just excited to see where the journey continues next on this path keep up the amazing work Revz and thank you for all the smiles and laughs.

just to note crimson resonator at 20:25 is an inherent (built in as its called now) summon and doesn't activate for effect
Crimson starts a chain. The rules on starting a chain is if a monster's text has a semicolon or a colon it starts a chain and Crimson has a colon in it's text for special summoning

Good to see that RDA is finally performing well! Definitely deserved it after all that time of being a half-assed archtype. I still tried playing it back then but it was just not able to keep up.
Crimson Gaia is legit so fucking good.
A smol hint for the next time: Crimson Gaia can trigger when any monster on the field is destroyed so you could have summoned Scarred back when you popped something with Red Zone. Could have given you more floating power.
Btw, what is your plan for cards to get for the deck? I see everybody hyping up the Bystials but I honestly think the Labrynth build is better since it has much more synergy with the furniture and trap support while Bystials just don't have synergy. What is the synergy? Making a level 8 synchro and skip Red Rising? Sure, they are good at disrupting dark decks but I would only side deck the Bystials.

I love this series so much and I’m happy you’re back at it. If you do more seasons in the future, I want to see you use Dark Worlds because I believe they have hidden potential…and they’re also one of my favourite archetypes.

This is the kind of sealed only challenge I have always wanted to see and do myself. I never understood why trading wasn't allowed in these challenges considering a lot of people do it to 'go back to what it was like as a kid'. I've always wanted to do a sealed only challenge myself like this one, and this new structure deck seems like as great a place as any to start!!

Funny enough I've been following you because of your Branded series and Branded is my main deck. I've been trying to help my best friend get into Yugioh and told him I would build him a deck. He picked Red Dragon Archfiend. Soon as I saw this in my subscription feed I sent it to him

I been playing yu gi oh for 2 years now and it took me 3 months to know how to play because i didnt pick it up everybday and i had lots of things to do, gotta say the best thing i did about yu gi oh was making my own deck, i have over 2000 cards (spent way too much money)

Enjoying the video. I can see synchro barrier being able to synchro into king Calamity during the opponents turn to be a better knowing that you're able to win the game. Haven't updated mine in a while since supernova came out so it'll be interesting how it'll become the next meta deck whichever tier it becomes

You can summon King Calamity with Synchro Call which can be searched with Duelist Genesis.

I am confused on how Red Supernova isn't once per turn when it states "Once per turn" at the beginning of its effect description. Just a bit confused on terminology and would like to know for definite what it means.
