No, that was the advert guy Eric Wrobbel saying that on his site. There are at least 332 of the italic version as I've seen that serial number on them, and the two I own are #66 and #296. I've also seen the rarer red one with serial #110. Could be as many as 800 mark 1 versions, there are at least 3600 mark 2 units.
Brother…is there a chance you can ‘burn’ an eprom of dx7 bass sound?….have lots of midi bass but never have the ‘luck’ to find one with it (or any of the ex 7’s). I can swap if you want. I have the: Steinbass Fingerstein Rickenbacker Finger Bright finger Stick 8 string Ripper Rhodes I will also be happy to purchase your unit (if you are interested of course)? Please let me know Thanks in advance and god bless Sincerely Sid
I dont have the equipment to burn EPROMs but there is this studio selling DX7 eproms for Midi Bass, although quite expensive.. www.mesonline.biz/keyboards/360_systems_midi-bass.html

@@momtnz Very Interesting, and such a relief. The style of the italic version seems very fitting.

@@momtnz hey thanks for taking the time brother. It is highly appreciated. Indeed I know the page and indeed those prices are off the roof!
You can get a real dx7 or tx module for not much these days
@@ryanedwardmusic Or, even cheaper, a Korg Volca FM or a Dexed-in-a-box thanks to Raspberry PCs. You can't thell them apart in a mix.
