Zo’s pitching in THIS tournament shows you how high level the regular Blitzball tournaments are. Can’t get an out to save his life in BB4, but in this setting, he turns into fkin Kershaw
which is also why jack is just dicing people up in the other games. Doyle is one of the best blitzball pitchers in the world, and the captains league players are just not capable of hitting him lol

Zo has also indefinitely been getting way better at pitching tho and looks way more confident. BB4 is on a different level but Zo looks good because he’s a way better pitcher than he was in BB4

I think I'd prefer being led by Jake over Jimmy. Jake pushes team spirit and confidence; Jimmy tends to collapse into a singularity of self-loathing and me, being of a similar mold, would feed negatively off that energy. Jake is all gas.
Jimmy is such a emotional teammate tough to watch can be real cringe at times

Alright listen, I thought about this a lot.
Loyalty. That is the question that presents itself to us today. As we weigh in the balance of things the virtues that arise in our league of captains, is it not loyalty that we draft these young men for? Do my skills on concrete convey anything else but true devotion to the colors on my back? Do the hexagons on our balls which control the wind also control our fates? And if so, is it our hands which deliver our message of loyalty, or just green plastic spheres which convey our steadfast truths? I look to the walls where our flags do hang, and on it, through the wrinkles and creases of unironed fabric, I see the blood of those who have triumphed, and the concrete burns of those who have been defeated. It is not lost on me that the ceiling itself is supported by the Devastator, our communal emeny which has taken the lives of many, yet protects what we call our warehouse, nay, our wareHOME. Even the most polarized of Shady Rays cannot protect thine eyes from the the glory of it all, but we do not gather tonight to speak of glory. Rather, we speak of those who remain loyal, even when glory may not be obtained. Tonight, it is not the draft kings we discuss, but the jesters. The lowely few who strap on their knee pads time and again, who stand too close to the netting by the bleachers, who smack holes in the wickets and then don't repair it for the rest of the tournament, who eat so many bananas and never cramp, who make heros out of their employees, who slap so many balls but only if their feet are planted, who have just the most amount of ice, or who get kicked out of the alley behind their office for being too loud and playing wiffle ball next to piles of garbage. So, the question presents itself once again- Jake or Jimmy- to whom should I be loyal?
...and yeah honetly I think the answer is Jimmy cause in the long run it proooobably would be better for my career in the company if I performed well for him. Like I'm sure there's no bias or anything but if I start hitting nukes for the breakdowns, I'll probably see a nice little bump in the ol' salary somewhere down the line. Just a thought though idk...

I'd rather be in a committed captain's relationship ship with Jimmy. He has a very mature yet absolutely extreme competitiveness. He takes losses on the chin and is proud of his guys... but man, he utterly despises losing, and so he gives 110% I to every aspect of the game while stilling keeping it fun. Truly an impassioned leader. He should start a company. I think k he'd be good at it.

I would play on Jimmy’s team, just because he seems like someone who would change his mood duo to loosing some games in a row, never showed anger and never show that he gives up on his teammates and for last he always picks a defensive team, which I believe is a really good strategy.
I have to go with the vibe tribe! Jake Storiale who has made the captains league one of the most fun tournaments I have seen yet! His personality makes every game a blast to watch and you can tell how much fun his team has. The Story's celebrations are unmatched and he would make every game played the most fun. The strategy of Jimmy is incredibly important during games, but can easily lead to a lot of tension during the games. The easy-going attitude of Jake while still being competitive allows players to play at their best without tension. I would do any sport with Jake as my captain.

To answer Jack's question - I think I'd have to say I'd rather play on a team led by Jake. He seems like a big vibes guy, but can definitely dial himself and those around him in when needed. I can only imagine how much fun it'd be to play with either of these guys though, so there's no wrong answer here! If there were other options, I'd prefer to play on Jack's team (no bias here at all, trust me)!

It depends on the sport, however the captain I’d want to be loyal to is Jomboy, in hopes I could help Jimmy raise his first blitzball banner in the warehouse. Otherwise I’m picking Jack Doyle every day of the week!

Nah, it's a promotion from the pool players. Gonna be Dalton. Dude is carrying people this year. They can add Nicky to the pool next year though and I think that'd be great. Something tells me he'd already be there if he was interested

As far as who I'd want to be a faithful player to, I think I give the edge to Jimmy.
Jake is absolutely king of the vibes when it comes to how he captains his squad. Never over the top, never too low, just always calm and collected and confident that he's putting the team in the best spot to do their best. I originally was leaning Jake for that reason, but I know I've got a much louder competitive fire in me, so I worry that I'd end up feeling a little like my intensity was out of place on the team.
Jimmy on the other hand is constantly talking. He's analyzing the opposing players styles, deliveries, habits, etc. He picks up on it quick and makes sure everyone one the team sees what he's seeing. For Jomboy, the information battle is the most important, and I agree with him there. I think that coupled with the fact that he's so hungry to win in his warehouse for once would be why I'd want to play for him.
I'd love to be on Jimmy's team, I just love the intellectual approach. Watching ball in play captains league really emphasized that to me it would be fun to be on a team where we dissect plans and come up with concrete strategies.
Could actually attach a pulley system to the mezzanine. Would extend the bucket so it doesn’t catch the lip and then it’s even more fun with actually having a pulley

Captain JAKE all day, No harm to jimmy but Jake seems like he has a lot of fun when he’s playing in all the games and has the smarts at the same time. But Jimmy looks tensed up all the time. Some people might say Jimmy, but he seems to really plan things out (which is good) however personally I feel like I would just want to have fun and be loose. So I would go for the fun/laid-back route with Jake.
Best part about Jolly being relegated will be not having to listen to him announce these games.

I would be team Jimmy. Just all around great captain. Great communication, great lineups, great picks, always keeping his head up and pushing his team just letting them know they got this. Jimmy pitching is amazing and his team contributes to pitching, hitting, fielding, etc. all around great captain to play for in any warehouse games.

Although I love them both, I would have to pick Jake. He adapts and looks to out think his opponents. My kinda guy. Also, nice vocal range Jack, voice of an angel and a demon in the same song.
Purely on tactics only, Jimmy is my faithful team captain choice, I think his one negative aspect is getting in his own head. I believe in myself to really keep that from happening and keep him focused on winning! We'd be unstoppable!

Gotta be Jake! Patient and great strategist. However, isn’t so patient he lets it affect the team and when it’s time to make a change approaches the person well. Makes ya feel good even after being bad.
Oof this was quite a slow one but at least it can only improve from here! I'd love to watch some practice pitching sessions. It can be beneficial as content but also in turn improve future enjoyment of games. You could even just set up a camera up top and live stream it. Pitching is as important as batting if not more, so it would make content much more enjoyable if most players are able to be closer to the strike zone to avoid 5-0 walks.

The team captain debate is a hard one. With Jimmy I would learn the most, he is the most strategic by far but not even just game strategy. He's great at adjusting the team plan to the specific strengths and weaknesses of the teammates and seeing my best version would be cool.
With Jake though he seems to be the most patient with his teammates knowing everyone has a warehouse moment in them and keeping the vibes high and smooth makes anyone comfortable enough to ignore the flubs and focus on the fun. Plus on the days where I just can't bring it I know Jake has that clutch mode he can go in to and win the game solo.
It's really hard but I would have to go team Jake. I think win or lose I would have the most fun in the warehouse while being there.

I think I’d be more of faithful team member to Jimmy than Jake. Not an easy decision but I think Jimmy is really a true strategist and all his decisions are made with such thought behind it and I think I appreciate that and I feel like if I were on his team he’d find the role that was best designed for me to give our team the best chance to win.
jake he’s very passionate and i love the advice and strategy he gives and never lets anyone know his next move and is always doing something new
I think the 5 run cap per half inning is great. HOWEVER, I really wish clearing the bases counted regardless. For example: you’ve scored 4 runs already and the bases are loaded. Grand slam gets you to 8. Feels bad when those base runners don’t count for anything. Plus it could reduce extra inning situations
I gotta say Jake would make for a great captain. He’s very calm no matter the situation, always ready to take the bump if he needs to. Like Jimmy isn’t bad but he has like an armageddon mentality when it comes to coaching (like in this game when he preferred the float it in the zone instead of actually pitching). Plus Jake seemed to draft better players so if I got drafted by him it more likely means I got some valuable skillset that put me in a higher spot than where Jimmy drafted
I’d chose jimmy if you watch a lot of his breakdowns he understands the game and picks up on a lot of things the opposition does like tipping pitches or spots in a hitters swing where they are vulnerable.
I would rather be a player for Jake's team because I have his custom shady rays glasses and would love to show them off while giving some run support!

I'm going with Jimmy to answer Jack's question. As much as I think having Jake as a coach would be fun and entertaining. Jimmy brings a sense of strategic intelligence in whatever sport he’s playing and always has a role for his ayers on his teams(usually.) as someone who’d wanna come into the warehouse with a sense of urgency to win I would have to go with Jimmy. Sorry Jake you’re also awesome

Jommy is by far the better tactical and strategic thinker. He wins points there. They are very close as pitchers, but Jake is the better hitter.
And finally, the most important thing, is Jake’s attitude. It’s always positive. I love Jimmy and everything he’s created here, but he does have a tendency to pout when things aren’t going his way. That’s why I’m team Jake all the way.

From a puerly sport decision, I think I would love Jimmy as a teammate. Simply for his intensity and understanding of the game. On the other side of that coin, would probably dislike him as a captain having heard his mic'd up moments. Jake 9/10 is supportive, happy to be there and always trust his players. Hard not to be loyal to a man like that, it's Jake for me
I would rather be on the story than the breakdowns, I feel like Jimmy adds more pressure and you don’t want to let him down, but I think jake is better at relaxing the guys on his team especially in big moments.

Gotta go with faithful member of team Jake. I think him and Jimmy are on an even level of team leadership, but Cooky Jake is a different animal that can boost the confidence and morale of anyone. But Jimmy is no slouch
