Andy, I already knew you were the coolest guy in the world, but the fact that you played electric ladyland just confirmed it for the ages.

I picked up a Neptune couple days ago. Been working on electric lady this morning.
Freaking awesome pedal! Fantastic for funky rhythm parts too! Two thumbs up its nice & rich not weak and the pulse or throb is just right. I trust this builders ears!

Any colour you like, great song selection to really show what this pedal is made of!

Who says there's no space for obscure boutique-y guitar effects anymore? I'm in love with it already!! The controller idea is brilliant, too.

The optical sensor does require light to work. In a dark room, a simple pedal board gooseneck LED works great. You can find them for around $15. Also, keep in mind that channel one works no matter where you are with a preset rate and depth just like every other vibe on the market.

I've played this pedal and it sounds even better in person. Matt makes great stuff and is a pretty damned good guitar player too, you could do a lot worse than the Tortuga stuff.

Great idea with the optical sensor. Now, how long will it take for other makers to jump on the use of that technology?

The optical sensor is brilliant - BUT... what happens when you're playing in a dark room?

"You can cover it with any other object".
I can see the headline now.
Local guitar player arrested for indecent exposure! When asked what he was thinking, he replied: "Andy said any object!"

any one used one of these live? how does the optical sensor handle a dark venue? does it effect its operation?

I'm not too educated on 'vibe' pedals.
You can get these sounds out of a phaser that has enough knobs to customize the sound right?

    2. dirty talk (to my woman)
    3. football talk
    4. politcs (not that it's not important but you know there is no way you can have a bad argument with someone on gear talk)
