    Great video. I must have watched this 4-5 times the last few days waiting for my bike. It showed up today and I got it all put together in about and hour. Only things left are to make a few adjustments to the seat and handlebars.

    This has to be the best instructional video I have ever seen... and I've seen quite a few for a wide range of different things. Awesome! Subscribed!

    Well done, thorough and complete video. I've watched enough of your videos that I plan to get a torque wrench soon.

    awesome video man. Had this bike for 1.5 years and just realized barrel adjuster actually works LOL. I usually mess with low/high screws

    Nice video with very clear explanations! I prefer to rest the wheel on the ground with some weight on the bars when tightening up the QR, to ensure that the axle seats properly in the dropout. If it doesn't seat properly this can cause brake rub.

      More of an issue with QR hubs. Not as much with thru axle

      @@TheBikeSauceyes please, they send these bikes with no instructions and not even close to as assembled as it was in this video. You gotta install the brake rotors, both front and rear wheels, rear derailer, etc etc. nothing insane but they have no instruction on their site lol so I found this video only to discover it’s not the same anymore haha

    I'm putting together a mongoose juneau fat tire bike right now. It's a little intimidating when you haven't done it before.

    Help! I bought an X as well as Hunt Mason X wheels. For the wheels with QR I can't get the freehub to stay in place on the hub. Any thoughts on how to trouble shoot the issue? Thanks.

    Nice video! Do you know what are the screws for the front caliper (M6/M5x1,M6/M5x0.75 )? I order the frame set and when putting the screws it seems to force and i don't want to brake the fork thread. Thank you!

    QR hubs and innertubes? I thought they went out years ago. Like the front derailleurs and frame lugs that are on my bikes.

    Professor Sauce do you find more drag on the crank when you run the clutch in the on position? I find that on my GRX 1x drivetrain.

    • @TheBikeSauce
      @TheBikeSauce  2 роки тому +1

      I definitely hear more drivetrain noise, but I’d bet it’s only a couple watts at most, which I can’t definitively feel

      Good observation. True there’s more chain tension, but practically I can’t feel it on the road

    None of my bike was assembled, and the wiring on the derailleur was twisted around the frame completely the wrong way. Absolute pain in the ass to sort out
