    One of the last big body sedans from Cadillac. This particular one is an original survivor and has only 25,222 miles on it. This Cadillac has recently been serviced and is ready to cruise on a road trip across the country! This was loaded with comfort features and literally feels as if you’re driving on a cloud.
    EXTERIOR: Finished in the optional Desert Frost Firemist, the paint is in excellent condition. There are a couple minor blemishes walking around the car that you would have to spend some time to even point out. The soft vinyl top is also in great shape; no major rips, tears, or scratches and it shines like new. All the stainless and chrome trim is in great shape. This Cadillac has 15” wire wheels, with whitewall tires. The tires look to have been replaced and are not the original.
    INTERIOR: The interior has a full luxury and comfort package. The wood grain trim is gorgeous and still in its original finish. The dash headliner and carpet are all in great shape as well. The seats are not only the most comfortable thing you’ll ever sit in, but they are also fully powered and even tilt. These Cadillacs were packed with options such as tilt wheel, cruise control, map lighting, air conditioning, and fuel economy gauges.
    ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine compartment is in good shape as well. Being mostly original, it shows expected wear and tear. The engine is a 4.1L V8 and is mated to a 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive. This baby fires right up and cruises smoothly down the road.
    TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The giant trunk can fit a whole family vacation worth of belongings. All the original carpeting is in great shape. There’s a nice Cadillac embroidered mat, the original spare tire and matching wire wheel hub cap, and the original jack as well! The trunk lid closes with an electric close so you don’t have to worry about slamming this bad boy shut.
    UNDERSIDE: Underneath is all original. Being a survivor car it’s in great shape. These Cadillacs were equipped with power brakes, power steering, independent suspension with limited slip rear diff. The factory exhaust is still in place as well.
    A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

    Gorgeous 85 Caddy! I owned a Fleetwood a few years newer that I found in Birmingham .... I flew from Ohio to pick it up, and had enough faith in it that I drove thru the night bringing it home .... It did have the (4.6L I think) engine, and it did very well all the years I owned it. I guess I'm not familiar with tge '4.1 motor', but as far as quality, dependability and comfort, hands down one of the best cars I ever had. With 25k miles, I'd say someone will enjoy this beauty for many years to come.

      Your engine was more than likely the 4.5 or 4.9 engine which derived from the 4.1 engine Afterwords Caddy went Olds and Chevy blocks,which is a story for another day .

      @robertbowling8393 Рік тому +1

      @@puffkendrick6850 you're right ... I'm thinking it was a 4.5. It was no powerhouse, but fuel mileage was great and it performed faithfully for years. You're right about the GM motors ... As I recall, there was quite a few upset ppl with buying a Caddy and getting Olds engines ..... They should know that regardless, they're getting GM and after all, what matters? Changing the label doesn't do a thing! Lol .... thnx for the shout

    She has power wipers, you say? Thank goodness they're not manual wipers LoL. Then manual remote side mirrors? The "soft close" trunk is a feature I've never grasped. They make you reach up & pull the lid 98% down, but the "soft close" is so you don't have to hit it closed? I bought a 2022 Cadillac & such a feature is no longer available. You have to pull down & hit it to close, whew.. so taxing LoL
