i just tired doing audio loop for corners for the first time on what you just showed and it felt like half time to memorize then usual! thank you so much zane! now i just have to get good at letter pair images. :)
Good that you've got your edges sorted out. Even if you use letters for both the corners and edges, you can avoid muddling up the memo by using the letters in different ways. For example, I use a letters for both the edges and corners, but I don't get confused because I memorise the edges with letter pair images, and the corners with audio pairs.
Very well explained, by far the best video out there on this matter. Btw, you know some words of Dutch I see. "Vel" means "skin" and "de" means "the" :).
so assign letters to corners as well, cool ill do that, i wasn't sure cause i didn't want to get corners and edges mixed up, but i guess it wouldnt be that hard at all, thanks im gonna do that from now on :)
For me, I sometimes get C and K mixed up. Obviously the focus of audio memo isn't on visual, but I find that the tiny amount of visual memory obtained is sufficient to recognize whether the sticker is C or K. Maybe if you spend just a tad extra time visually emphasizing the sticker you won't have a problem. If it really annoys you, you could switch Q with something else that isn't in your letter scheme, perhaps the letter Z or V?
Hi, if I were to make a tutorial about OP corner memorisation it would include audio, which is the last section of this tutorial. So it seems redundant to make such a tutorial :)
I started to create list in my language cca. 2 weeks ago, and I still can't make good images for some pairs.... and I have a question.... if you have e.g. BLood + ALuminium, how do you imagine blood and aluminium in action? :-) thanks :-)
You could use another memory method in addition to letter pair words, this will make memorisation less intensive. Or maybe focus on making letter pair words that you can visualise (ie. letter pair images). I will also mention that some people have found it useful to associate 'sentences' with locations, without actually using letter pair images, if that makes sense.
i've been using letter pair words for a long time. but how can i use this for bigger cubes. i.e. 444bld centers and edges. as you've mentioned it's more appropriate for shorter memory. tia man! :)
I do multi BLD exactly how I show in this video with letter pair images, I interact 2 images and place them at a location. I hope to make a video focusing on multi BLD sometime, if I do I'll include an example of my memo.
I'll try, but I'm not good at making sentences from letters. It's not pretty, but maybe something like... Ink got really well, jam VQ (ik) (gt) (re) (wl) (ja) (VQ)
I got a question...I'm using letter psi images for edges and it works a treat, I set up a letter system on my cube so I can come up with stuff easy, but do you know a good system for corners, cause I don't want my edges and corners getting muddled up if I assign more letters to all corners
Hi, sorry to take so long to get back to you. Make sure you know how to solve the 4x4 blindfolded (with commutator centers), then you should be able to do most of the 5x5. You can use M2 to solve the middle edges. With parity you can leave UBL and UBR swapped, then after you've solved the middle edges do: M2 F2 U (T-perm) U' Rw2 F2 U2 r2 U2 F2 Rw2 F2. Wing parity is the same as on 4x4, and make sure centers are the first thing you solve (however, commutator corners can be solved first).
Yeah lists can be annoying to work with :(. I would just imagine blood being pured onto a sheet of aluminium foil. The interaction doesn't need to be that creative.

Your pronunciation is really perfect as I am not good at English but I have understood a lot versus other cuber's video))))))
Good video!
Good explanation, Zane. You have pedagogy ability.

A very helpful tutorial, thank you!
You've a cool voice btw :)
Your welcome, and thanks hahah. I just realized how bad the cropping of this video is XD.

Fantastic zane
For V and L you can use VaLk
so assign letters to corners as well, cool ill do that, i wasn't sure cause i didn't want to get corners and edges mixed up, but i guess it wouldnt be that hard at all, thanks im gonna do that from now on :)
Thanks :)
What??
"its better if your cat is bleeding to death" ah i love how i can imagine anything for blind solve

your voice is too good.you can be a good teacher to do best or something
I assigned a letter scheme to both the corners and edges.
Great, as long as you use 2 different memory methods for edges and corners it should work like a charm ;).

Really hard to make a sentence when too many pairs are person's name. How do you do?
it does makes sense. great. thanks again mate. and nice tutorial as always. :))
Nice!

I made one, then later edited it into the speedsolving wiki list.
I like your voice LOL
Also, some of my older videos show the memo of each cube as text.
I'm back at cubing after a lot of years, that guy taught me a lot of bld stuff..where is now?

Could you show how you do your whole letter pair image journey memo for multi blind?
You're welcome :)
Where did u get those "I" and "J" letter from for corners? Did u assign letters for all the corners if your cube aswell as edges?
I'll try, but I'm not good at making sentences from letters. It's not pretty, but maybe something like...
Ink got really well, jam VQ
(ik) (gt) (re) (wl) (ja) (VQ)
For all the pairs that are a person's name, you need to learn different words that aren't names.

What sentence should I make for ik gt re wl ja vq ?
Re wl ja vq
I know goats take extremely risky electricity whips; lentils just are very quaint
2:50 lol... I've always been doing that but I didn't know it was helpful
hey Zane. Can u help me in finding a way to solve the 5x5 blindfolded. plz. i cudnt find it.

Opening a fridge and there's a cat in it.....that's kinda cruel:P

2:42 - you are a cruel man
Bloody Cat, what a horror ahhahaahh
Thanks you :)
