I was wondering if a cow would make a good pet. Then this old series came to mind: ua-cam.com/video/iJ4T9CQA0UM/v-deo.htmlsi=xmXQWBNUTxwViY_p Good for a laugh
@@jillhiles143 JoDaddy our previous bull in the little round picture is a limousine he’s half brother to JackBlack the bull we have currently, which is also limousine. Before that was a red angus named Eddy.
@@jillhiles143 ours is a small scale one bull farm. It’s what’s commonly called a “cow calf” operation. The heifers in my recent videos are “keeper” replacement stock.
We've traditionally always alternated between black Angus and polled Herford with the one time exception of a ShortHorn bull {2seasons}... A very successful effort to bump up milk fat% and quantity... More recently moved to Red Angus X Limousin rotation. The decision to switch was based on a few things... The Limousin association has done a great job on selecting for temperment.. They really are the golden retriever of cows now... I luv that !! The easy calving and maternal instinct of the Angus are well known traits.. Then MOST importantly watching at our local auction yard for pricing trend$ and what pays best in our area!! Stir that all up and out pops Kudjo and company 🍁🤠
