Away on holiday.... This video is making me more than home sick. Love to do a photo walk at some stage Hamish. If your ever in Bristol again feel free to let me know.
Topsyrm Yeah, for sure. Duncan exposed and scanned differently to me. He scans quite flat, with reversal, I don’t. He scans with a flextight, I have a Noritsu. Lots of variables, not least style
You made an interesting statement about if you have more than one lens on you it is hard to concentrate. I never really thought about it before but that describes what happens to me. I am more worried about what lens to use for everything I see, rather than looking for what I can do with my 50 or 28 or what is on the camera now.
For sure. Some people resort to just owning one camera and one lens - which I think does work for some. For me, it’s just about taking a small amount of gear out with me. I like gear, and I like playing with it, and thinking about it… but not when I’m actually taking a photo
Great to see inside the changing bag! Top work chaps!

@@HamishGill maybe a beers and cameras in Bristol would work
Great video Hamish LOVED seeing behind the scenes at SilverPan and listening to Duncan - I now have film GAS
An interesting video Hamish, it is noticeable how much more contrast and colour your shots have as opposed to Duncan's.

I know it's an old video, but funny watching this. I was with Duncan today dropping some films off for developing. I'm very impressed with his work.
He's a great guy!
Great video.

Excellent in my home town..love Bristol

I love how ultra polite Duncan is while Hamish swears away like a docker
Holy shit, I've sold my Imacon scanner to Duncan 2 years ago.
Like the white coat.
