I'll be the first to admit I had no idea who this guy was when it was first mentioned we were signing him, but he has been genuine revelation at Liverpool! The best way I can describe him is he's like someone took the skill and ability on the ball of a flair attacking player and somehow combined that with the power and work rate of a world class DM!!! Seriously, go watch the Liverpool v Sheffield United game from a couple of weeks ago; it was a pretty poor performance from Liverpool and Szoboszlai definitely didn't have his best game either, especially from an attacking point of view, but what he did do for the entire 90 minutes was be literally everywhere! It was like Endo's lost the ball, no matter Szobo is there to tidy up; Trent made a mistake, Szobo is there fix it; Diaz is out of position, Szobo is there to cover for him; Nunez is out wide winning the ball, Szobo is filling in the number 9 position to tap home and secure the win. Everyone goes on about his skill and attacking vision, and rightly so, but I think the rest of his game is massively underappreciated; it's hard to find a skillful attacking player who also has the work rate to track back and really get stuck in, but Szoboszlai has such a good work rate off the ball that he's even outperforming a lot of our defensive players, which is mad! We have a very special player on our hands here at LFC and I can't wait to see what he can achieve with us over hopefully many seasons to come!
Btw if you play fifa mobile, buy him I’m currently ranking up and he’s of great use and for skills add the shooting one, his shooting is too crazy 85 percent of the times it’s a goal with him, I only learned to f his existence cause of fifa mobile, but now seeing him play, him and his card are on point 🗿
honestly and im not just saying this cause im a liverpooll fan sobozlai does some things better than bellingham like shooting outside the box and yes bellingham overall is a better player cause bellingham is better at defence and pressing im just saying liverpool couldnt have found a better alternitive to jude than sobozlai
