It's not about the whiskey, it's the people you share it with!

C 'mon folks, Jason should have been at 100k a long time ago. Thanks for everything you do Jason.
No doubt!
Agreed. Let’s get it going y’all!
FACTS!!! Been a sub for 6yrs, best in the biz especially when it comes to being informed and educating the audience as opposed to just entertaining
@@100puremustard5 I remember when he was in that lonely set up with awful audio. 😂😂
Completely agree, I recommend his channel to everyone! Don't understand why he still hasn't reached that mark. Cheers 🥃
This the best, most informative channel out there. Jason's palette is great. I don't think he comes off as pretentious. Thanks dude for all you do.
I absolutely love A124, but I'm a huge larceny bp fan. Excited to try b524 when I can get one
Been waiting on this review. The B523 was one of my favorite pours from last year.
Love the A124 but just got the B524 today, will let you know, thanks for all your reviews, love them
Larceny bp has been so easy to get lately, I love it. Skipped A124, waiting to see this batch on the shelf.
Great show as always! Cheers!
Agree 100% on the Ben Holladay SRW comparison.
It reminded me a lot of the B523, but it has a little more spice and viscosity. Definitely a winner in my book.
Slightly better finish on B524 to me - but yes, similar to B523. The flavors are a bit more concentrated on B524.
Great call! Good and better than A124 but backup not needed. Cheers 🥃
Got it a few weeks ago. B524 is the bomb!
I really like the wheat bread note on the A124, reminded me of the Weller Full Proof a little.
True statements!!
I did like the a124 spicy!!!!
I haven't picked up b524 yet, but i just killed a b523 today and i still have another back-up and a c923. Awesome review Jason. 🥃
Picked up the B524 and it is very good I definitely think it is more balanced than my A124. We did a barrel pick at Ben Holladay with Brewzle a few weeks ago and the soft red wheat single barrel is a freaking hitter!
Picked up a bottle in N Carolina last week. Eager to try it.
I love this bottle.
Flag on play is perfect analogy for the late hit😂 I really enjoy my B524, I skipped A and after seeing this I'm glad I did. Cheers
I think I prefer the A. I bought 5 bottles. B is a lot more spicy to me.
@alexgyorko6464 Yes, a bit, but the spice fades quickly imo. Cheers
Jason, I would love if you did another up and coming craft whiskey brands video. I really enjoy those when you do them and it’s been a while. It’s so cool seeing all these new brands doing their own cool stuff, but it’s hard to know which to buy. Thank you.
I'm one of those that likes the spice of the A124! Curious to where it came from, being that it's a wheater. A124 reminds me of the spice in OGD 114 with less cinnamon flavor. Love the sweet ones too. Good to mix it up
B524. Lots of caramel apple with dark cherry which balances that pepper note.
Wish I could find the BH, but no luck in my area. Hopefully can find a B524 for under $80 soon. Great review as always!
I didn’t mind the A124 , I will definitely seek out the B524.
Love me some wheated bourbon!
love me some larceny barl proof
Already bought more than one
Jason, do you have a video of your back it up bottles? Would love to see!
I like the A batch better this year. I tend to like spice tho. The spice must flow!
I think Jason hinted he will be reviewing Ben Holladay Soft Red wheat!
Feels almost like they’re leaning into having different, yet consistent, profiles for thr A,B, and C batches. A batch being brash, B, a little more refined and balanced, with C being more oak forward. In any event these are still a great deal in a world full of overpriced craft juice.
Haven’t seen Larceny B524 yet, A124 is still sitting on shelves. Weird bc I’ve been sipping on ECBP B524 for 2 months now….they usually drop at the same time.
I’ve got way too many ECBP and Larceny BP bottles sitting on my shelf so I skip them unless a release is really special or stands out.
B524 Definately better than A124 on my palate. . . I prefer the balance of spice and that lingering finish. Where is all this spice coming from???
Wish it wasn't so proofy. 105 to 110 is perfect.
@@brianritchey7597 Just add water. That's the only legal way that the manufacturers can use to cut the proof down so much. At home, you can do whatever you want. Personally I've been finding it better to cut high proof stuff w 80-86P whiskey, instead of water, though usually like it at barrel proof.
But look at it this way, a 750mL Brl Prf bottle actually contains 1L+ of sub 100P whiskey. It just needs water. In addition, the whiskey is almost always better than the whiskey chosen to be bottled below 100P. Meaning, Larceny BP cut down to 92P, will usually be better that the Larceny 92P bottle. Plus you have the option of any proof in between, like 105-110. If you buy the 92P, there is really no option to make it 105. Though I'm sure there is a way & surprised nobody has come up w a way, yet.
Haven't seen B524 yet but excited to try. I DID find Holladay Soft red wheat Rickhouse proof last week and DAMN it's delicious. Wish I could find it locally.

Sounds like a hitter. Can’t go wrong with the price
B524>A124 IMHO
Personally Larceny BP always drinks hot to me. And I love barrel proof stuff especially from Heaven Hill but I can’t get down with Larceny BP. Breaking Bourbon gave the B523 a 4.5 barrels and I legit poured that down the drain. More of an ECBP guy
Jason you should be drinking better stuff for your birthday week, Lol where’s the pappy
@@aramb5482 I've never owned a pappy. Lol
@@TheMashandDrum neither have I :( I wish you a pappy in the future at MSRP
@@aramb5482 maybe one day
A124 tastes like flat soda to me can’t stand it and I norm like lbp’s a lot.
