    Jaylon Jones has been playing
great in OTAs, he could be a diamond in the rough for the Colts at DB!!!

I know it is cliche, but Richardson is probably the biggest wildcard on this team. He played well, but didn't play much. This will basically be his rookie season. he had a year to study the offense, but he hasn't gotten much opportunity to be on the field and read a defense in real time. If he succeeds, we will be good, if he struggles, we will struggle.
I agree with both positions you mentioned. Personally, the more i think about he safety room, the more worried i get over it. Nick cross is raw, shown flashes, but inconsistent even after 2 full seasons. Rhodney Thomas had good moments in 2022, but as you guys said, he struggled at times in 2023. Julians Blackmon is a good player, but always misses a lot of time due to injury. he missed the last few games of the season because he was hurt. We are banking on a young inconsistent guy and a inconsistent 7th round pick to start along side a solid player that frequently gets injured. we don't have much proven depth beyond those 3 guys either. If one gets hurt, we are down to our only 2 decent options. I am still fully on the train to bring in Justin Simmons. best safety in the league these past few seasons. A vet who can help teach guys like Nick Cross, while also providing a high level of play. Julian Blackmon and Justin Simmons would be a great safety duo. I have more conifdence with Thomas or Cross as backups rather than number 1 options. Good safety help would also help our corners, overall improving the secondary. A solid secondary will help our pass rush as well. I think adding Justin Simmons would shoot this defense into being a top 10 unit.
We freed up money with restructuring Buckner's contract. If we need to free up more money, we should cut Mo. That would save a few Million in cap that we could put toward Simmons. It is late in free agency so Simmons could be willing to take less as it is. Right now we know what Mo is. He can be a good player, but is overpaid. The younger guys have higher ceilings, so might as well give them a shot. Even if the young tight ends fail, i trust our offensive personal to pick up the slack. We have a good O line to help with blocking and we have 4 solid receivers to catch passes, 3 of which are big body guys like tight ends. we dont have the same luxury at safety. Thats why I'd fully be for cutting Mo and signing Justin Simmons.
Mo has a cap hit of $5-6 million, Simmons would probably sign around $12-15 Million. My guess would be that his contract would be a 1 year deal. that is 2-3x the money for Mo, but Simmons could easily have 2-3x the impact of Mo.

Can we get more information on Titus Leo, the guy is a huge mystery. Is he better prospect than Lamb?

Igletree and Woods are the top two in my opinion then Mallory/granson, then mo ally cox but I like Mo Bc he is a good blocker with solid hands too and he has a cool ass name
