That dragon on the front looks like the result of a mother dragon taking thalidomide…

Its not a hybrid between a Heater and A Kite Shield. Its just a later period style Kite Shield. Nice work though, looks good.
If you made this from 12mm ply and covered them in canvas they would make for a decent HEMA or Reenactment shield.

Hey you mentioned talcum powder at the end there. What do you use that for?

Talcum is used to powder latex weapons, to make them non-sticky and non-shiny. You can use silicone spray as well, but that will make the latex shiny.

Хорошая вещица. Жаль только, что для её изготовления надо очень много струбцин использовать

Was sind die Unterschiede zwischen isoflex und Flexipaint und warum sollte man nicht flexipaint verwenden?

Isoflex is a product to waterproof rooftops. It is toxic, nasty to use, but super tough once dried on the weapons. Has a slight yellow ting.
Flexipaint is a none toxic paint from the cosplay scene. It is water solvable, dries super transparent. But it does not bond to the latex paint well, gets soft when wet it is just not tough enough for larp use.
Will make a video on it soon.

Too big for a heater shield, it'd be more of a later period kite shield.
