All my life I have never had a school tell my mom she had to bring these crazy specific items like copy paper to bring in. What if you have like 5 kids? That’s crazy. Some people don’t have the money for that stuff and on top of that they are dictating what your children wear as well. The school is supposed to have funding for paper, tissue, soap and a few other things
I’m a teacher and school supplies make my teacher heart happy!! You are such a wonderful parent and I’m sure that your children’s teachers will be very happy.
That's a ton of supplies. I have 4 kids and they only ask for basic needs. My first graders list only had a backpack, 1 folder, 1 pencil box, crayons, glue, scissors, pencils, 1 box of tissues and germx.
I also have 4 kids and 3 will be in school full time this year. My kids just need essentials (pencils, crayons, colored pencils, dry erase markers, composition notebooks (3 for 1 kid, 2 for 1 kid). Teachers do ask for tissues, ziplock bags, hand Sanitizer, and bandaids but they are listed as optional.
These videos are great, this is my first year shopping for school supplies. My baby is entering kindergarten. She's sooooo excited about it. It just makes me smile.
Same for when I was in school. My niece & nephew that are in 8th grade have a list that consists of just that& a tri-fold poster board, it was like $15. The little ones need all the extra stuff that is costly.
Rachal Nocchi i live between two poorer districts ( Ohio school funding is based on property values in the area, ruled unconstitutional 30 years ago but still not changed) so they absolutely need what they ask for but no child is turned away for not having them. Rachal Nocchi i completely agree. I didnt take it as disrespect but yes 13 reams is quite a bit. I dont know where the school would store that much paper. Ive seen lists that say 5 now and 5 later, yada yada. Our lists also say if you can afford to bring extra, thats appreciated etc. Our lists actually include kleenex, hand sanitizer, dry erase markers and sharpies for the teacher, reams of paper and ziploc bags along with the other normal things. Schools in New York seemed to have gone from a few supplies for your child to supplies to accommodate all the kids to supplies for all kids and teachers. there are parents who can't afford it but unfortunately there are also a lot who just refuse and those of us who bring it in are making up for those loses as well. I have 3 nieces & 1 year the supplies alone cost me $70 for just 1 of my niece's class & that didn't include the cost of ongoing class snacks.
My kids went to a private Christian school and I LOVED just writing the check for the "school supply pack." It was easier than shopping and the teachers got what they needed.
I usually send in everything on the supply list but this time I’m going to ask the teachers what’s needed because now I’m sending 3 to school (KG/1st/2nd) that’s a lot of money to spend at one time. I don’t mind going back in the middle of the year. Last year I sent supplies in and in the middle of the year I gave the teachers gift cards for Walmart and Dollar tree to get what was needed. I’ve never seen people so happy they even emailed me a copy of the receipts.
That's a great idea! I'm going to try that. Between school supplies for 3 and these expensive uniforms, I'm expecting my niece's to get a job by 5th grade graduation to help out lol. Its 3 of them as well and it gets very costly. The uniform blazer alone is $70 ea and she need at least 3, sweater $60 ea and she needs at least 4. Then there's shirts, pants, skirts, ties etc
We supply copy paper but it is one box per family we send half of the school supplies at the beginning of the school year and in the middle the remaining goes out because when you send everything at the beginning of the year they always ask for more supplies in the middle of the year ❤️
I am a high school science teacher. I would really like to know what they are doing with all that paper. I make a ton of copies, but our school provides it for us. I ask my students to buy the basics and supplement everything else on my own. I always buy extras for those students who cannot afford the items I ask for. I spend so much money at the beginning of the year. However, I get great deals once the back to school rush is over. 😀
I have 4 children and at one point I was buying 36 notebooks double the folders and the reams of paper and paper towels 🙄🙄🙄 now all my children are in higher grades one just graduated hs and the schools supplies list gets shorter once in ms and hs
I have to say, your kids will appreciate all the work you put into getting their school supplies! It's always hard to see students whose parents don't or can't purchase the required materials sitting in class without the supplies they need! And many times, our school composes these lists with previous year income census. If the school notices that very few families can afford to bring in reems of paper for example, the list may go from 3 reems one year to 5 the next to ensure that students are all given access to supplies, even if their family doesn't have the means to do so. Many parents choose what to purchase off the list based on what they can afford, and that's what we suggest parents do at our school! "Send what you can" type of thing. Your contribution to your kids classrooms will not be forgotten. Students will be thankful for it and your teachers will be eternally grateful 💛 you're doing great!!
I agree, it’s crazy how much they need. The school I work at told all the teachers that there is no money for supplies so it’s up to the teachers to buy and ask for:(
In Germany, we only had to buy our own supplies like folders, notebooks, pens and pencils, stationary items and stuff like that. We never (not that I can remember) had to buy supplies for the school. And the list got shorter every year. In high school, we weren't required to buy any specific stuff. It was just like 'as long as you bring your materials, we don't care how you organize them. You're old enough to figure this out.'
Girrrrl, that turkey bacon is the truth!! My absolute favorite. It seems like the back to school shopping lists for elementary and middle school get longer each year. I remember when my kids were that age they only had to bring one ream of paper each....now they are up to 6 reams?? A lady shopping the other day said that her school requested each kid bring 6 boxes of tissues. I must say that the list gets shorter when they get to High School...but their supplies are more expensive...(i.e. $100 graphing calculators and AP books).
where i live in texas we pay about $35-$40 in may and the next school year all of the students supplies are already in their classroom. the district gets a great price bulk ordering and we get the savings. so much cheaper and the schools are so picky about things being the same since they share anyway it works out great. only have to buy my son special pencil cases or special things he wants. 13 reams of paper? i think NOT! they would get 2 per child from me......
While people are talking about the amount of copy paper, and I agree that is excessive, I’m in awe with the pencils. 48 between two girls? That’s almost 3 pencils a month!! I’m a stationery addict and I own a loooot of pen and pencils and still don’t get why you are asked for 3 pencils a month 😊
And sad part her kids may not touch one of those nice pencils she's buying. Teachers usually put all the pencils in a bin all together and teacher gives them to kids as needed. If other parents buy cheaper brand pencils your child is not guaranteed the nice one you buy.
I have a toddler (so I don't do back to school shopping yet), and there's no Costco anywhere near me. But I still love to watch your Costco hauls! That says a lot about how entertaining you are! :)
They really have you send in extra of everything to help cover for the less fortunate that cant afford it... so in other words just send in what you can afford.
My favorite binders (5 years old and still good as new in the corners) are from staples and have rubber edges. Yes they are expensive, but they last sooo long. If you buy them for your middle school students, they will be as good as new when they graduate highschool.
Our school does a pretty good job of keep supply lists paired down. I found a lot of things we already had at home or that they are able to re-use from last year so my shopping list is pretty small!
As a teacher, I challenge my high school students to see how much they can find laying around at home instead of sending their parents out to spend more money. There's no need to go out and buy brand new notebooks if you have at least half a notebook left over from last year. Parents spend enough on clothes, shoes, etc.
It really depends on the school. The school I was at last year provided 0 copy paper and 0 textbooks. I would just email the teachers directly and ask, because if they really do need it, they will be using their own money, and they won't mind if you ask.
I was dreading the list for my oldest who is starting middle school, but it turned out to be not that big of a list. We are fortunate enough to live in a county that was given a grant several years ago that supplied each middle schooler and highschooler a laptop for school work and homework so she doesn't need spiral notebooks, folders, or binders. The biggest things on her list is a zippered binder and five composition notebooks, then several other small things, but I have been warned different teachers my add extra things to the list once she gets her schedule. Now my youngest is going to kindergarten. When did they stop using the kindermat nap mats? Now they want them to bring a beach towel. I was also surprised that now they ask for watercolor paints, and playdoh, but her list isn't as bad as I have seen others lists.
Girl I’m right there with you I think that sometimes schools throughout the country are trying to take advantage of families with all of their demands when it comes to school supplies they don’t just want school supplies anymore they also want cleaning supplies and all sorts of different things it’s just getting out rages girl don’t feel bad if I were you I would just get the minimum amount of copy paper as possible $30 it’s just crazy😄😄❤️❤️❤️
Yes! I was floored a few years ago when I became introduced to the list. Clorox wipes, Kleenex, hand sanitizer, paper towels. I was like y'all need trash bags and cleaning supplies too???😀
When I taught middle school, the teachers in my department would sit down at the end of the school year to make "the list." I was the only teacher with kids in school, so believe me, we had a discussion about this list. I can't speak for all schools, but when I asked my department to do the math and then multiply that amount by 2, 3, 4, or more children in a family, they were in shock. Our year-end list shrunk in a hurry. These lists with the Clorox wipes, Kleenex, hand sanitizer, etc. get a huge thumbs down and a flat out "no" from me as a parent and a teacher. Kids are perfectly capable of blowing their noses and washing their hands in the bathroom. School custodians have desk cleaner. Unless parents refuse and/or complain, it won't change.
Ok I am going to have a teacher moment here! I teach first grade and we use EVERYTHING we request. If parents don’t send in what is needed, I go out and buy it myself. I don’t think prenatal realize how little the school provides!
Copy paper? I guess my school knows not to ask cause that is crazy. I buy the list at the beginning minus cleaning and paper goods. I send her with her own things. My son is starting high school and all he needs is paper pens and a flash drive. Since he is starting high school age 14 6"1 size 11.5 shoe. I spent so much on clothes cause he wants all the name brand. No more Walmart for him🤦🏽♀️. My daughter needed a whole new wardrobe she has grown so much. But yeah supplies are the least of my worries
Hubby & I usually buy school supplies for our grandson and great nieces, this year we've added on our three nephews and two of them have to bring 2 reams each and I thought that was a lot. Also 2 boxes Kleenex & 2 Clorox Wipes. I know they ask for this much to help out for those that don't but it's definitely not easy for these parents along with buying school clothes.
I’m in the U.K. (Scotland) and I have to agree that paper plates are not really a thing where I live. They get used for things like birthday parties, BBQ’s or other events where you have a lot of people gathered and not enough dishes to go round. The last pack of paper plates I bought was Halloween themed plates on clearance for 8p. 2 packs of 12 plates have lasted us over two years. I like to send one with my daughters lunch when she goes on school trips so she has a plate to put her food on when using picnic benches. Also with back to school supplies- we don’t do that either. (Might be different in other parts of the U.K.) Children can bring their own personal pencil case with pencils, rulers etc if they want but it’s not necessary as the school do provide everything from stationary to notebooks. (High school is different - they need their own stationery). I do pick up things through the year when I see them in clearance and donate them to the school for extra supplies as they have a limited budget. Last year a found rulers on clearance for 4p a piece so I bought them all (I think 36/37) and donated them to the school. Same with big multi packs of pencils, glue sticks etc. If they are a good price I buy them and donate. That said we do have uniforms in 99.9% of schools and some schools require stupidly expensive uniform with the school logo embroidered on it as well as multiple types of footwear, sports kits etc. The biggest expense for most U.K. families at back to school time is uniform costs. I know over in Ireland however they do buy school supplies and all textbooks etc required. (Ireland is not part of the U.K. BTW - well a bit of the North is but that’s a long and complicated story and something not worth getting into in the comments section) I know some people who lived there previously and said they get a list every year of stuff to buy and it can get pretty expensive and they still have uniform costs on top of that.
School supply lists are crazy. We had to buy a ton of supplies plus cleaning products. They ended up being all piled together and redistributed through the class, which i was miffed by since my daughter picked cute patterned supplies that she never got back
It gets better as they get old. In high school you did need a lot of supplies. I shop around, Dollar Tree, Walmart and other sales. And in Ohio we have tax free weekend August 2-4 which can save you money on uniforms and shoes and supplies. Every little bit helps.
I’ve always wondered about the paper plates (I live in Australia). I’ve noticed it’s quite a common thing in US Costco hauls. I’m sure there are things we do in Australia that seem strange to people from other countries, I actually like seeing the differences.
It’s so weird having to send school supplies that schools should already have. Why do you need to send copy paper when school usually get them for a very good price because they buy it in bulk? I don’t know if it’s an American thing or European thing but in Belgium you just need to buy your regular stationary. We pay a few euros a month and they get their own copies and books with that money, we don’t even have to buy our books around here. That’s just the way it should be. America needs another system 😂😂
Unless your kids go to private school, it's illegal in the U.S. to require students to buy their own textbooks or class novels. I'm a high school teacher and I tell my students that they just need something to write with and something to write on -- it doesn't even need to be new. A lot of parents buy all these school supplies because they've been trained to think that they have to and some just like buying them and can afford to do so. When teachers make out the school supply lists, they don't often think of parents having multiple children that they need to buy for. Retailers have become the masters of making consumers think they have to have everything new each year. Believe me...a lot of these school supplies will come home at the end of the year unused -- that is, if the student doesn't throw it away during the end of year desk and/or locker cleanout. Also, if we asked parents to pay a few dollars each month, it would be a nightmare trying to collect it.
Yes it has become a little bit of american consumerism. Look at how companies market these so called back to school items. Glue in 10 packs tissue in bulk Clorox wipes. Anyone that's runs a business small or large knows. That supply companies sell these cheaper. And schools can order from them. Charter schools are also notorious for using monies for supplies elsewhere and putting the burden on parents and teachers.
I'm from Australia and my son goes to a Catholic school and the only thing we have to buy uniforms , the school fee's cover an iPad, excursions, stationary, hats, reader/library bag and there actual schooling aswell
My twins are starting 1st grade at a new school this year and im not sure what all they will need yet. But after watching this video and reading the comments im slightly afraid...😨😭
I'm not American, someone please explain. So the kids carry all of those supplies the first day of school and give them to the teacher so they can have them to use thru the year? What do the schools provide since I see so many people even buying paper? What if a child shows up with nothing but his pen, books and notebooks? Do they sit in class and not color because they don't have crayons?
I think they ask for so much because they know some kids won’t bring everything. For example Ava needs to bring 3 packs of crayons even though she won’t use them all. Unfortunately schools don’t get funding like they should and teachers pay for things out of their own pockets. To help parents are asked to provide.
Hello, Is like a community share.... they won’t punish them for not bringing them and I think that is why is like this. We can’t even label our kids supplies anymore. When my child needs something like a folder or an eraser I send the teacher a note. I know is crazy specially when parents don’t care and know is community shared they don’t send all the things in and other parents have to pay the price.
The school supply list is suggested, you don’t have to buy anything. Public schools will have basic supplies provided. But they run out fast, it helps when parents buy things
Wow, that's a surprising system! Thanks for answering... So, in poor neighborhoods, where more people are freeloading, that is bound to cause issues...
Well I wouldn’t say freeloading, I would just say in poorer neighborhoods they don’t have they money to help the schools. This is a problem the wealthy neighborhoods schools have so much more then the poorer areas.
We always went to Staples with our lists early Shop early before crowds are there clearing the shelves Lots of good prices Our lists were nothing like yours and stopped after elementary school Individual teachers may have had requirements for each subject then
paper plates aren't used much here in the uk unless for kids parties but i use them sometimes in summer holls cos yes it saves a lot of time and energy that can be better used elsewhere lol x
I’m that parent...that doesn’t send in everything. 🤷🏾♀️ Lol. After being told, from my kids, that they never used certain items I stopped sending the items I found unnecessary. Also, Everything we took in was put into one big pile for the whole class..
I homeschool too! This sounds like a crazy amount of school supplies. We are frugal and try hard not to waste. I get cheap workbooks and hand me down curriculum. I think I would spend more sending my kids to public school if I had to buy all that stuff every year
its crazy how much a child has to take into school in the US, here in the UK everything is provided, apart from secondary school *high school* when they take the basics of a pen and pencil. What if parents can't afford to send their kids with the trillion things that are asked for? or is it voluntary based?
I alway just send in one or two of each of the items except for the folders and paper and notebooks and then the teachers will send home replenish notes when necessary, my hubby works at a school and says they always have extra at then end of the year which they have to donate, I have four kids, I can’t send all that stuff in at the same time.
In my school we get our school supplies from the city I don’t know how to explain it but so we don’t need to buy anything not even launch they just started doing that and it is really nice
What school are you taking them to that needs all those school supplies?!?? I’m a school counselor and have never heard of all that on a supply list! Wow that’s crazy!!
Im that parent. I get what I can get on their list but some of it is a NO!!! One year a teacher asked for all natural clearer from Mrs. Meyer and asked for a specific scent. Its a no. I wasnt even using that in my house and its expensive. The schools should supply them with copy paper. I teach in all I ask for is a pencil /pen and composition notebook a folder. Thats it.
Have you thought about recycling the water bottles and whatever you drink out of? It helps out and if you don’t need the money you can give them to someone you know who does
13 reams of copy paper between 2 children is ridiculous. My youngest is going to the 3rd & they only asked for 2 reams. They asked for a 24 pack of pencils but I already had a 20 pack so they’ll have to deal with 4 less pencils. My oldest is going to the 8th & her list is the basics!! Nothing fancy!! Some of the other moms I talk to, their children’s school supplies lists are insane!!
With 4 kids, back to school shopping runs me over $300. And thats for public school. Next year my oldest son will hopefully be in college and my daughter is in the process of trying to get into an exclusive private high school so my bill will go waaaaay up 😖 I am in Costa Rica and we pay about$ 10 a month per child for extra materials and copies. It is voluntary tho so if you cannot the extra money is used for that plus parents can make copies themselves. We dont pay for lunch, its free.
I suggest using coupons for some of your items not at Costco but at Walmart, dollar tree, dollar general, CVS, Walgreens. You can get a lot of this items on the cheap cheap.
In the US school supplies are not always funded by the taxes collected to fund the schools. Some schools do give teachers a small allotment towards classroom needs. Parents/Guardians are asked to provide the rest.
Don't worry it gets shorter... I am in college and also where I work I sometimes get books and stuff discounted so I don't pay as much for school supplies or even need that much anymore....Once they get to a higher grade it all depends on what they use the most..... Don't worry it gets better😄😄
Yes paper plates are meant for larger families I have six kids and believe me I tell kids to re use the plate and water bottles the fill them up with juice 😁
Seems crazy how much you need to buy for school. Here in the uk the most we buy is pencils backpack water bottle everything else is supplied by school. Couldn’t imagine buying copy paper ,!!
Wow, 13 reams of paper is crazy! We send our kids to private school so a portion of our fees cover most general classroom supplies. We also purchase an individual supply pack from the school's vendor that includes stuff such as pencils, crayons/markers, folders, notebooks, and any specialty supplies like protractors. Price of the supply pack ranges from $50 to $100 depending on the grade level. We are in a relatively well off/middle class public school district supported by moderate to high property tax revenues, so the supply lists I have seen are not that outrageous. But, definitely, families who do not plan and budget for it will still take a hit in the pocketbook. I miss school supply shopping, but having the teacher-curated supply packs sure saves me the time and headache of chasing down obscure supplies.
The copy paper issue, I’ve helped teachers for many years and they can use 1-2 reams for one weekly homework packet. That’s not all the worksheets the kids do all week in class, or fliers the teachers have to send home, field trip forms, and on and on. A teacher at my kids school told me the school gives each teacher 2 reams of paper TOTAL. So if they’re asking for so much, it’s probably because they’re using 100’s of dollars of their own money for the paper. It sucks, but American teachers don’t get the money they need for classroom supplies.
I'm a teacher and our school supplies us with money to buy paper and other classroom supplies. I even use the money to buy extra pencils and supplies for the kids who are less fortunate.

Same here. I usually ask the teacher throughout the year what's needed and buy more supplies. Im definitely going to do the gift card thing!
In the five schools I've been to in my entire life they've never required I bring tape or copy paper. I think that's rediculous.
If my kids school asked this I'd just send them with five pencils, a couple notebooks, a binder or folder, a pencil case and maybe pencil crayons.
Tell me about it
We supply copy paper but it is one box per family we send half of the school supplies at the beginning of the school year and in the middle the remaining goes out because when you send everything at the beginning of the year they always ask for more supplies in the middle of the year ❤️
Advice/opinion. Uniforms can be hard ti find after Christmas.. get a few things in the next size if they have a growth spurt!!!
Go to Flynn O'Hara
I totally agree with you on the paper plates thing we have 8 people living in our house so #paperplatesforthewin!
Mmmmhmmm.... They just don't get what we go through...if they had they would probably bring it to good use also... Just saying
Same in Belgium, pretty much. Just bring your regular stationary and be on time for class, that’s the only thing they ask lol
I do Walmart for school supplies but I found it cheaper to do it online and in bulk for years to come! Clothes I just shop at old Navy and Nike! 💖💖
Cas I'm slightly shallow 😂 Stop it Girl! I love that 😎 You just want the good colors and nothing is wrong with that.
where i live in texas we pay about $35-$40 in may and the next school year all of the students supplies are already in their classroom. the district gets a great price bulk ordering and we get the savings. so much cheaper and the schools are so picky about things being the same since they share anyway it works out great. only have to buy my son special pencil cases or special things he wants. 13 reams of paper? i think NOT! they would get 2 per child from me......
Wow! That sounds great and super easy
At the Walmart's we have here in Washington, they have so much designs for only 50 cents (composition books)
SrtaMiette haha the kids at our school bring 10 for the year
And sad part her kids may not touch one of those nice pencils she's buying.
Exactly, and at the end of the year, they still have what looks like, half of it left, yet they still ask for the same and the next year.... SMH
lealea j exactly!
Office supply stores have the best deals for school supplies and copy paper.
Been a while since I did back to school, but this is my grand sons 1st yr.... I could cry!
In The UK we don't send any supplies to school x
north east england girl 1980 that’s how it was back when I was in school. 😒
School supply lists are crazy. We had to buy a ton of supplies plus cleaning products. They ended up being all piled together and redistributed through the class, which i was miffed by since my daughter picked cute patterned supplies that she never got back
I would have been furious. I think that happened once when one of my kids was in school but we knew it was going to be that way ahead of time.
It gets better as they get old. In high school you did need a lot of supplies. I shop around, Dollar Tree, Walmart and other sales. And in Ohio we have tax free weekend August 2-4 which can save you money on uniforms and shoes and supplies. Every little bit helps.
WOW all that paper etc for sending the girls back to school is astounding. Here in the UK we don't have to send anything....just the kids:)
I’ve always wondered about the paper plates (I live in Australia). I’ve noticed it’s quite a common thing in US Costco hauls. I’m sure there are things we do in Australia that seem strange to people from other countries, I actually like seeing the differences.
Tash Cordwell haha I’m from Melbourne and I can’t imagine eating dinner from paper plates unless it’s for Christmas, Easter or a bbq on Australia Day
That is different from Us. We typically don't use paper plates on Easter and Christmas. BBQ yes regular dinner, but usually not major holidays.
PREACH the GOSPEL sista
Same in Canada! They just ask for a 100 pack of lined paper! That's only if they don't ask for notebooks!!!
I’m a teacher and 13 reams seams unusually high-could it be a misprint?
I just got 5pk expo markers at staples for 1.92pk on sale this week. Limit 5 for all black and 5 for the variety colors
Hello,
Is like a community share.... they won’t punish them for not bringing them and I think that is why is like this.
We always went to Staples with our lists early
Shop early before crowds are there clearing the shelves
Lots of good prices
Our lists were nothing like yours and stopped after elementary school
Individual teachers may have had requirements for each subject then
paper plates aren't used much here in the uk unless for kids parties but i use them sometimes in summer holls cos yes it saves a lot of time and energy that can be better used elsewhere lol x
I’m that parent...that doesn’t send in everything. 🤷🏾♀️ Lol. After being told, from my kids, that they never used certain items I stopped sending the items I found unnecessary. Also, Everything we took in was put into one big pile for the whole class..
We homeschool. So we have to get it all. Every last thing, including the curriculum. 😀
I am so happy that our sons don't have to bring tons of school supplies and they are wearing uniforms.
I'm so happy my kids are grown and I no longer have to deal with ANY of this!!!!
Thats it.
kengeBUtiful 🤣
😂🤣😂🤣👍🏽
Remember to always consider the school district before judging the supply list.
Target has composition notebooks in different colors for $.50 too
That's amazing bacon😉 I could watch this all day!
Be excited about the uniforms. It is such a convenient options for parents.
I am so happy.
She said she was
Girl I think 48 pencils each is crazy!!
48 in total. 20 for Zara and 28 for Ava
@@MarriageMotherhood that is still a ton!!! Our teachers asked for a 12pk for the whole year for my 4th grader.
@@MarriageMotherhood What do they do with 28 pencils a year (or even 10)? They eat them? I only used 1 per year.
I got that box that has a bunch of school supplies today and it’s amazing
I suggest using coupons for some of your items not at Costco but at Walmart, dollar tree, dollar general, CVS, Walgreens. You can get a lot of this items on the cheap cheap.
Applewood Bacon all the way!!! Costco in Alpharetta doesnt sell them anymore but the one in Duluth has them if you are looking for them.
How come you have to send your kids in with supplies? I'm from the UK and we don't have to do that here so it seems so strange to me😱😬
They ask for a lot because teachers have to supply a lot from their own money.
Same in Belgium!! It just blows my mind that people need to buy pretty much EVERYTHING for schools to use 😂😂
In the US school supplies are not always funded by the taxes collected to fund the schools. Some schools do give teachers a small allotment towards classroom needs. Parents/Guardians are asked to provide the rest.
I get the regular Costco bacon all the time. It’s delish.
Is it?!? I’ll have to try it.
Walmart and Kroger I have found to have better deals on paper plates. Their store brand I can get 300 for $9.99.
Seems crazy how much you need to buy for school. Here in the uk the most we buy is pencils backpack water bottle everything else is supplied by school. Couldn’t imagine buying copy paper ,!!
Love the xo container so worth the extra money.
I just can't stop running into you.... So... To save me the trouble... NEW SUBSCRIBER!!!
At Office Depot the notebook are 10 cents it only this week
I love your videos! I’m glad I came across them.
I'm so ready for back to school time
Wow, 13 reams of paper is crazy!
Yes!! Love your Costco videos!
Those lanterns are BOMB girl lol! We picked them up as part of our camping gear 🏕
Ooohh girl! I spent $30 on ALL my girls back to school supplies ....$30 for copy paper alone!!?? I couldn’t imagine!!!
the kirkland bacon is BOMB!!!!!! get it!!
I LOVE your Costco hauls and vlogs!!!!!
Well usually when it says 5000 it means 10 reams since each pack (or ream) would usually be 500 sheets
So excited for this video😊
I just went to Staples and they have the different colored marble notebook for .50!!!! Gurllll return that pack at Costco 🤓
I get some of my children school supplies from the Dollar Tree but you do have to hit them early
Look back at Walmart they have all kinds of composition notebooks now mermaid and all
Girl I am so glad we dont have kids in school nomore! One thing I dont miss that one bit...lol
Oxo containers look nice. I can't get myself to spend the money on them yet! 😆 Great video! Love your Costco Haul! 😄
