The toxic clouds billow as the acid rain pierces their solemn veil. Lo, in their gloomy decay do I see glimpses of my very own heart in its wretched state of despondence and despair.
Pungent yellow skies wept tears of the stinging ichor down, weeping for a world once lost. Here, idle in this prairieside of ash and soot, old twisted machinery, and wasted humanity, I stared out towards the city below with a sliver of hope. A refuge from the rains, a sanctuary upon the horizon of a new day. And yet, even as my armor resisted death's call, a whisper within this vessel ached.
So did we turn away, as though we could flee the consequences of our choices. While the forests fled and rivers sank beneath this desert of our making. Yet even now as we yearn to hide, our eyes are drawn inexorably to the beauty of our world.
That's why I love this artist. Mount Shrine is my absolute favorite Dark Ambient artist. I know he died and I never thought I would hear anymore of his style of music but after finding void wanderer my hopes have been answered. It's sooooo good. So happy to found this.
