Well besides Ozapft is and Weißwurscht there was no bavarian expression^^. But don´t worry even in the deep bavarian forest the people understand standart german.
My secret tip is not to visit the Oktoberfest because it is very expensiv. Visit the Gäubodenvolksfest in Straubing which takes part in august. It is not so big but the beer is ceaper and it is more like normal bavarian Volksfest.
Also you could have a litte problem to find the after partys, because in Straubing almost all the bars and discos are located in old air shelters under the city.

Interesting fact (well I think so anyway) about how English ended up with different words for animals and their meat, which dates back to the Norman conquest of England. The French-speaking aristocracy were the only people who could afford the expensive meat like beef and pork, so that's why the names of the meat come from the French words. But of course the peasants were the ones who actually raised the animals, so they used the old Anglo-Saxon words for them..

Ah, the Oktoberfest is coming, maybe that's why the most recent issue of "Vokrug Sveta" (Russian for 'around the world", that's the journal of Russian Geographic society) had a full 7 page (9 if pictures count too) article about Weisswurst, Frankfurter and Currywurst.
P.S. Actually, to me Klaudia (or Claudia?) sounds like a typical German name.
