Great video. Looking forward to seeing more about this build. Are you still EDCing the G26? Given the slightly different grip angle of the Grit Grips frame, how is it going back and forth between the GG and standard Glock grips?
@@robcstrickland great question. This has pretty much replaced my Glock 34 at this point. So I shoot this more then any other pistol because I've been using this in matches lately. I still edc the 26 most days because it's smaller and Florida has been stupid hot this year (so it's been shorts and shirt weather 95% of the year). But I do carry this a lot when I can get away with it (it's become my church EDC lol). It actually isn't bad going between them. Glocks you point with your thumbs, everything 1911 grip angle and between you point with your pointer finger. I dryfire with both enough that I'm pretty comfortable knowing how I'll have to present each pistol.
@@crackshot-tv Thanks. That’s good to hear on the Grit Grips. I have a Gen 3 G19, and I’ve been thinking about getting a GG frame to try it out. I’m also close to grabbing a G26 for EDC. I’m just undecided about going with the MOS version and putting a Holosun SCS on it, or going non-MOS and milling the slide for an enclosed optic like the SCS Carry. Any thoughts on enclosed vs non-enclosed for carry?
Nice build. Just be careful shooting retention with ports due to the shrapnel/spalling since it's an EDC. 👍 How is slow fire accuracy at 25+ yards with this build? Wondering how much those ports affect accuracy.
@@crackshot-tvdo you like it? Also, I noticed on Brownells site the images of the slide shows diagonal serration cuts. Is this a new design? I’d rather have the vertical cuts which look more OE.

Very nice. I agree with your philosophy, and I would rather run that than a shadow systems.
I’ve been binge watching your videos ever since your channel was recommended to me, I love this concept!
Dang thanks bro, that means the world to me!

Truthfully I did find at longer ranges the accuracy suffered. Since building this I put a regular barrel back in for that reason
👍👊
@@crackshot-tvOEM non ported?
@@cdwebb0 no, I bought a foxtrot mike premium barrel for like $30 and dropped it in lol
