As a 22 year old Russian, you have made an outstanding report about Crimea since the Russian annexation in 2014. I regret that such an report has not found a sponsor for your excellent work. I have had a wonderful holiday in Alusta in a Summer Residence of the czars before the Russian annexation. I stile have kept a bottle of champagne from Crimea as a souvenir. I hope Crimea will be free from Russian occupation so I will be able to return for an other wonderful holiday
I think the report about the Crimean churches is very important. Too many prorussians claim Ukraine is shutting down Russian churches in Ukraine, and use it to justify Putin‘s invasion. But then must ask them back why they didnt protest when Russia shut down Ukrainian churches.
Ukraine in actually shut down centuries old Orthodox churches to create some new religion and install new ministers in those churches. Old ministers are being kicked out (despite the fact that they never support Russia's invasion), monks being kicked out.
Russia still has orthodox churches in Ukraine. There's one with a z-priest in my wife's hometown that still operates. What happened is that the Ukrainian orthodox church separated from the russian. The russian orthodox church is not really a church anyway, but more a political institution for indoctrination and nationalism
There is no Russian or Ukrainian church, it's all Eastern Orthodox church which existed since forever. Ukrainian nationalists decided to separate and join some patriarchate in Turkey, just to be different. So current Ukrainian church is not really a church anyway, just a caricature,

Think of Amurica and it's bases worldwide? Or many otjr countries. That said. *Vladolf is more tarded than daddies little call enforcer Sauls or American politics.*
In the case that said country is involved with seeking to join a competitor's administrative apparatus, aka the EU, and with member through nepotistic politics joining NATO not too far behind, aka the US's military alliance a rival/enemy. This brings up concerns of a geo strategic nature, of which the Serbian populace learned the hard way during the Yugoslav wars (not asserting what occurred during the event was justified, just that it served as a demonstration that the concept of NATO being a defensive alliance was completely void in the context of its members geopolitical/military autonomy) where American bombers violated Austrian airspace to bomb Serbian positions in response to Serbian efforts of ethnic cleansing (which was done by another Yugoslav member Croatia). Libya and the middle east are also example of member geostrategic autonomy. Russia therefore has a case that in order to secure its 5500km European land border it needs either the military to secure it or ensure that there is no possibility of a military force larger than theirs of a rival country to have access to said border, they had ensured that Belarus would at least be impartial to NATO member military personnel, and with its current military it could keep in check the Baltics for its interests in Kaliningrad. With Ukraine however with having the longest land borders of Russia's European periphery needed either Ukraine to associate it's economic and/or military interests with Russia or enter into a Geopolitical and economic state of Neutrality, with both being attempted in some form by past Ukrainian and Russian Leaders, but with little in the form of guarantees on Ukraine's side after Euromaidan. Thus, when Kyiv lost the democratic mandate over the more Pro-Russian populations in their Southern and easterly regions, some of the population revolted, the Russians intervened with support to the Russian populations in the dombras an moved in to secure its then at-risk Naval interests in Sevastopol. Also laws, much like regulations and ethics, exist as refined documentation of the interaction between past and present interest groups under dispute, if a party of interest is large enough and feels approached in bad faith by another party in relation to existing laws, the laws loose social and political integrity and may (unless said interests are addressed) result in the aggrieved interest group determining said laws redundant, which as an autonomous party is in their good faith mandate.

Crimea IS UKRAINE 💪🏼 Crimea will be reclaimed by Ukraine, so any russian roach reading this, be WARNED: Leave Crimea now or face your doomed fate at the hands of Ukrainians when they reclaim their territory.
So basically the reason why people had suffered basic consumption inconveniences were the illegal unilateral sanctions imposed by the collective West in 2014. Companies were plainly scared of being imposed sanctions by the Western countries which are dictating their own rules. The only reason why Crimeans had suffered water shortages were at the hands of the Ukrainian government which cut the flow of water to the peninsula in 2015. They had tried to murder, as they themselves say, their own people by depriving them of their basic needs. What a great and clever move, shall we say. That surely must improve Ukraine's and the West's image for those living in Crimea.

I stumbled across your channel because of your videos from St Paul (my hometown). I was so delighted to see your reaction to our beloved places. I also had the pleasure of meeting 2023-2024 students from the one year global program at St Paul college via a language exchange. Please keep up your work! One small note: we say 19,5 'billion rubles' not 19,5 billions of rubles
you have to factor in inflation. for example 19.5 billions in 2014 is equivalent to 25.9 billions in 2024. Still under the 32.1 billions, but the margin is not as high as it seems. And of course that is if Kiyv didn't decide to increase the subsidies. Overall, it is known that Russia is richer than Ukraine, per capita i mean. Russian GDP per capita is about $10,000 while it is $5,000 for Ukraine. But the think is, with partenariat with the EU, and under the protection on NATO, Ukraine could be thriving, with living standard far above russian average. Simple exemple, Estonia. GDP per capita in 2000 : $4,000 gdp per capita in 2022 : $28,000. Simply joining NATO and the EU allow estonia to thrive ecomically, well above Russian standard.
When it comes to average people, russia per capita means little when such a high number of people live in poverty. The overall infrasctructure in Ukraine is better and there appears to be less income equality. When the russians invaded, there were many stories of the soldiers being amazed by paved roads and streetlights in villages and small towns. They stole bloody washing machines and toilets, because they do not have these "luxuries" in poor regions of russia.
After ten years of occupation and all of the expulsions, do the people of Crimea still want to be part of Ukraine ? If Ukraine lands troops on Crimea will they be seen as liberators or invaders. In the two years of this conflict I have not seen any interviews with former or current residents of Crimea and I am curious as to what they think. Good overview Zack.
Rick the Ukrainian has interviewed at least three Crimeans, and I recommend you look for those videos. All of them understand that their freedom is with the democracy of Ukraine, and that’s what they want back!
Whenever russia occupies a region, it starts russifying that region by bringing russians there. These people are illegals, it doesn't matter what they think or what they want. They have no say in what is supposed to happen to Crimea. If they don't want to be part of Ukraine, they should go back to where they actually belong - russia. It's as easy as that.
A lot of the "Crimeans" you'd be asking would be russians. The opinion of occupires shouldn't matter. The people who moved into Crimea from russia should either go back to russia or if they stay, accept that they are immigrants and live according to that. If they've committed crimes such as seizing property or buying stolen property, they should face criminal justice. I'm sure many of the actual Crimeans who have fled would be happy to return.
@@Silveirias In 2001, about 65% of Crimeans considered their nationality to be Russian. about 20% were Ukrainian, about 10% considered themselves Crimean Tatars, and about 5% were people of a different nationality. Unfortunately what you say about freedom in the West is now only partially true since the woke stuff came in and the that virus spread.. We are not allowed in most western countries now to say that a woman or a man exist.. nor say that a person cannot change sex, that there are only two genders, and that the pronouns she and he refer to their respective biological genders... Oh and if you are white and no matter how disadvantaged you are you are to accept that you are inherently racist because of the color of your skin.. and you cannot say that you are against the indoctrination of children in schools in these ideologies or giving them hormone blockers , opposite sex hormones and that these and bodily mutilation should only be allowed for adults.. . You can lose your job, or in some cases go to jail for expressing any of the above.. so we have freedom.of speech and freedom .still in the West do we?

I think the report about the Crimean churches is very important.
Too many prorussians claim Ukraine is shutting down Russian churches in Ukraine, and use it to justify Putin‘s invasion.
But then must ask them back why they didnt protest when Russia shut down Ukrainian churches.
Ukraine in actually shut down centuries old Orthodox churches to create some new religion and install new ministers in those churches. Old ministers are being kicked out (despite the fact that they never support Russia's invasion), monks being kicked out.
@@Mvill1 same as russia did, an eye for an eye ;)
@@perfectmazda3538 Russian never closed Orthodox churches, you are confused.

Crimea IS UKRAINE 💪🏼
Crimea will be reclaimed by Ukraine, so any russian roach reading this, be WARNED:
Leave Crimea now or face your doomed fate at the hands of Ukrainians when they reclaim their territory.

One small note: we say 19,5 'billion rubles' not 19,5 billions of rubles
I've visited Yalta in 2014 as a dual Russo-Canadian citizen and it was a mess.
Right, after decades of neglect of Ukrainians
you have to factor in inflation. for example 19.5 billions in 2014 is equivalent to 25.9 billions in 2024.
When West can't accept annexations and Crimea can't be part of Ukraine, independence would be the third option.
Crimea was originally inhabited by Russians. Accordingly, for Crimeans, Ukraine is an occupier

Every clip and document is from DW or EURONEWS or in English. It's a war, and as far as I know, the Ukrainian Nazis left you without water and food, just like everywhere where people speak Russian.

Thank god Russia reclaimed Crimea Ukraine can’t even govern itself
Crimea was a sick state the whole time it was under the incompetence of the Ukrainians, just as they did with Odessa and Lwów. Take note, all their industries were created and developed during the USSR, all they had to do was manage them properly. But yeah, being incompetent is I guess in their nature so of course everything went went bust. All they have is nationalist pride that doesn't really have much to be proud of to be honest.
What a clown 😅

@@sateentuoksu Absolutely, but Ukrainians are the more backward version of the already backward Russians. They're basically the bottom of Europe's pecking order. 😅
Russians are historically and currently such big f uck ups that to f uck up in Finnish is "to russian". :)
@@sateentuoksu Ukraine is the backward version of the backward Russia. 😅
A bit pointless unless you know what would have happened under Ukrainian rule. You need to compare with level of life going up in Russia and Ukraine at the same time in the same video
support Russia
no
bro you have no idea how evil the usa is.
Evil doesn’t recognise borders it is inherent in every nation
Evil ?? How about your lovely people of hamass ?? Get out of here if you don't like it!! Noone is asking you to stay!!!
More than russia?
You should do an experiment. Ask a 100 random people, if they had to choose where to live, would it be the US or russia. I'm sure you know what the majority would answer.
Do you even realise how ridiculous you are? 😅
Pray, tell us more of the evils of the United States, russian bot. And while you're at it, enlighten us what does it have to do with russia?
What you're doing is a classic distraction tactic. You're trying to deflect blame by changing the subject.
Thank you Zack
