  • It remains one of the biggest mysteries of our generation, but last night police announced a new lead in the search for Madeleine McCann. 13 years since she disappeared, police have identified a German national as a suspect. The man, who is currently in prison for an unrelated matter and can’t be named for legal reasons, is believed to have been in Praia Da Luz when Madeleine disappeared. So could Gerry and Kate McCann finally get the answers they’ve been searching for? We’ll be discussing the latest with former police officer Jim Gamble who worked on the original investigation, and the McCann’s spokesperson Clarence Mitchell.

Three years on and this suspect hasn't been charged yet.

There is no evidence that Breuckner actually had the phone but anyway as the Ocean Club had no phone mast the call could have been made anywhere within a 20 mile area.

Gerry found Maddie dead after Kate have given her some sort of sedative earlier.
He put the body into a blue sports bag, carried her outside and placed the bag into one of dozens of large communal garbage bins scattered around the area.
These bins were emptied the following morning and taken to the local refuse site.
And thats were Maddie ended up.
Gerry thinks of himself as a hero because by taking such swift action in disposing of the body and faking the abduction scene, he's saved his wife the anguish she'd feel, knowing she was inadvertently responsible fof her daughters death.
Plus, they get to keep the twins and their jobs and avoid jail for manslaughter.

Has there ever been another high profile case where the chief prosecutor has announced that a person is guilty before they have even been interviewed let alone tried for the crime?
Hans Christian Anderson has lost out in the greatest story teller stakes to Hans Christin Wolters.
The latter is an absolute buffoon.
