What I really appreciate about your reviews is that you always give the product the best chance. You read the instructions, try claims from commercials and give it the benefit of the doubt. On the other side of the coin, you also make comparisons to other products and ultimately say whether you think a product is worth it overall. You also revisit all your products over a long term use. You're a one man consumer reports.

Great review as always! RE: Cleanup. Put a piece of aluminum foil on the drip pan to catch the mess, then toss it and give the pan a quick wipe. Done. A paper towel or cloth kitchen towel draped over the door when adding/removing food would help keep the door clean as well.

Just got one for my birthday because I was tired of my smaller air fryer being so small. This thing is awesome!!!! It basically replaced my microwave so I didn’t loose any counter space. I actually gained some. 😂
I saw a comment about it being a convection oven rather than an air fryer. 😂 they are essentially the same thing. They both move heated air for a more thorough and efficient cook method. Yes, if you have convection oven, you basically have a very large air fryer. But if you don’t, this is an inexpensive way to get the benefit of one.

I've been wanting one of these since I first saw it. I live in a rv and don't have much space. And I don't like driving down bumpy roads with propane tanks. This review was a Godsend!! You managed to do everything I would cook and I finally bit the bullet and bought it. I did purchase from the website and also got three additional mesh racks for only $15.00. It arrives in a couple of days and I'm excited. Thank you for this review!!!

I just watched Emeril on TV with his commercial and he had me sold! I was ready to get rid of my stove, and make extra cupboard space with the air fryer convection oven sitting on top (even though the oven of my stove is the storage for my pots and pans) I thought I better check your review first. Very good review, French fries would have been a test I would of liked to have seen. I read the comments. After watching the commercial, watching your review and reading the comments, My decision has been made, THANK YOU!
I have decided that my toaster, my toaster oven, my microwave, my cast iron frying pan, and my stove, will be all staying with me.
    Thanks, for your review!

We got the Emeril Lagasse air fryer machine a couple of weeks ago and it is freaking awesome!!!
Beats the hell out of using the big full-size oven!!!
And it is awesome when you bring home pizza from a takeout place or restaurant or whatever and reheat it on the pizza setting in the air fryer instead of the microwave...
The pizza literally comes out like it just got delivered from the pizza parlor!! 🍕 👌👌

I purchased this unit yesterday at Sam’s Club. We were replacing a toaster oven. This unit is only slightly deeper than the toaster oven we replaced, but it will be much more versatile. @Tucson Jim it makes me (as someone who only dabbles in cooking) not even consider it. My 20 dollar toaster oven, stove, and regular oven work fine for the essentials.
It might be cool to have one appliance that does so much, but I can't see myself dropping 200 on it.
They might want to strip some features and sell a more budget version if they want to market it as something for convenience, rather than something for people who do a lot of cooking. Just my opinion.

Very thorough review. I have a convection oven and microwave with convection, so this review helped me determine that this Emeril "airfryer" isn't really an "airfryer" at all. It does most of the same things my convection ovens can already do. The dehydrator function does seem nice though.

Nice video! We have the 360XL that we got for Christmas 2020. Your review seems spot on with our experience with the one we have. The smoke issue is not fun when you live in a small apartment. We get the smoking anytime we have done meat in it. Chicken wings and the ribeye steaks did have our kitchen area a little hazy. I think it is the fact that the drip pan is UNDER the heating elements.

I bought it about six months ago, and have used it to bake pizza, bread rolls, and parrot muffins. I use it for toasting bread, broiling steak or fish, and the rotisserie for small pieces of chicken and pork. I travel for a living and stay at hotel suites which never have an oven of any sorts. I truly recommend the product if one is looking for a go-to counter appliance. Incidentally, the pans and drip guard are all non-stick items so it is really easy to clean up. I always do it by hand to make sure the heat and corrosion I have sometimes seen on cookware is avoided. I am going to air fry some pork ribs today. I wanted some tips on how to do it, because I misplaced the little recipe guide that came with my oven. Thank you for your thoroughness in this review and the recipe link!!

I absolutely love my 360 and use it almost every day. It's just me and my son and we kinda function at opposite hours so this works out well for quick meals an warming up pizza. @@ranlitt3201 I know in the Ninja Foodi XL Pro oven it is NOT okay. The only place you should use foil is on your food or on the baking pans. Ninja says to cover the drip pan or any part of the oven interior with foil, could cause the oven to overheat. Could cause damage to the oven, or even cause a fire.

One thing I did want to let you know is that I see in a lot of your videos, you wash stuff with your dish brush (I can see you prefer it much more than a sponge lol). Someone donated a similar oven to the employee kitchen at my work and it is awesome being able to make some nice meals, where you'd typically be limited to just a microwave.

I purchased the original power air fryer oven at Christmas 2018 here in the U.K. after watching your review. I use it daily to replace our halogen oven that bit the dust. I love my power air fryer. A medium chicken in the U.K. Is around 1.4kg and fits perfectly in the power air fryer rotisserie, enough for my family of four. And fries are amazing, beats having oven baked fries that tend to dry out. The 360 looks like an excellent upgrade. Not seen them here yet, but I’m happy with my original power air fryer. I live in Southern Michigan and I've used my grill at Christmas time to roast a whole ham and a whole turkey at the same time. Can't really do that with a toaster oven. But, for small batches of food that cooks quickly, the AirFryer is hard to beat.

@@misterhat5823 I think people are forgetting that this is meant to be a little more versatile than a standard air fryer. You got to understand the more versatile an appliance is the more compromises they have to make in order for it to be cost effective, so of course it isn't going to be quite as effective as a dedicated appliance. However, if you combine the cost of all the appliances that this is intended to take the place of then the cost isn't so bad. Slow Cooker, Toaster oven, toaster, fryer, overn, and dehydrator. Most good dehydrators cost around a hundred or more dollars by themselves.

They're definitely targeting Breville's market for their Smart Oven here. The Breville model that does "air frying" and dehydration costs twice as much, although considering I own an older, somewhat "lower end" Breville, I'd be willing to bet the Breville is of higher quality. It also uses quartz heating elements to maintain an even temp, while this appears to use the old school elements that just have to be cycled on and off. And my Breville does at least hit a real oven/broiler high temp of 500°F.

I have the original Power Air Fryer Oven and I LOVE it! I was a little disappointed with not being able to get a 4 pound chicken in it but that isn't enough to be spending another $200 right now. Have you tried using the air fry and rotisserie functions together to see if that lowers the amount of smoke? I know that different heating elements come on with different functions on the 360. Not sure if the bottom ones come on with the air fry function though. Maybe worth investigating and doing a part 2?

Would have been a good idea to discuss actual clean up time of the interior of the machine too. My experience with some applicances like this is that they are a pain to really clean up, especially after a few meals worth of cooking. The drip tray is one thing...How about the rest of the interior? Nice review though. Broad based and easy to follow.

    • @angiepattillo3599

I agree. I was hoping for some insight into that part. I have a Ninja Foodi XL Pro oven, and it's a well known fact that it CANNOT be cleaned effectively. The interior finish is almost like a silver paint that the splatters bond to, and that scrapes off if you try to clean it. Ridiculous, since the oven is over $300!

Hubby walked in with the Farberware airfryer out of the blue... LOVE it. I do steaks to medium rare in 15-17 minutes with no turning and they are beautifully brown exterior and pink interior every time. Tater tots and twice baked potatoes are sublime in it, reheating fried chicken and reheating pizza comes out like it is fresh, bread sticks too.

That looks like almost a identical but cheaper version of the Breville oven. I have one and it looks very similar to that one. Looks like they got rid of some of the knobs on the right side and changed it to mostly buttons. Seriously look up the Breville oven and you will see how close they look. The Breville oven I have works really well, I actually want to get the newer version that's out now but I can't justify buying another brand new one for so much when the current one I have now works so well still.
Also a suggestion with that oven since I saw it suggested a while back with my Breville oven is that you want to make sure to unplug the oven when your not using it because the LCD screen burned out on one person who always left it plugged in all the time. So I never leave mine plugged in.

My only gripe with it is the 400* limit, you can’t make anything that needs a higher temperature, so it’s a little limited in that capacity, plus it’s rather large so you better have the counter space for it. But $200 isn’t bad, I just don’t need this device.

@@10191927 I see this misconception a lot with cooking. Everyone's like "you gotta be exact with your times and temps" yeah well guess what i cook everything at 350 unless its baking and just play it by sight and feel it might take longer but unless your super busy (if you were you wouldnt be cooking in an oven you'd just make something quicker) or just too lazy to keep an eye on it cooking it on 350 always works and it seems to crisp up pizza and other foods way better than cooking it quickly.

@@lightbearer1550 Amazing the foods (chicken parts) that are oven cooked do well at 350°. I also cooked at 350° at a longer time other foods. Higher temps for shorter cook time, lower temp for longer cook time. Cooked temp is the key.
