I've always wanted to ask this question: What's with the portrait of Kramer from Seinfeld that moves around the workshop? Must be some daft reason 😂 Cheers. Leigh.
ALL of the work the lads do an the cars they work on are quality, an still cool asf don't get me wrong but this thing is pretty high end that's for sure, it's has everything an executed nicely an I guess that's why the owner has the right guys for the job an to keep on that level the rest of the car is at
That is undoubtedly an awesome car, but I've watched you guys, literally work on a lawn mower and still enjoyed every minute. Thanks guys for quality entertainment 👌
Oh how I love '90s Japanese wiring. Makes is so easy to add upgrades if you had a lower spec. Down side was trying to trace a wiring fault and finding 3 dozen unused plugs under the dash.
Wow what a beautiful build! I had a C33 Laruel back in the late 90's (yeah I'm old like Al)- just the RB20, so it was a slug of a thing - handled surprisingly well though, was super reliable and easy to maintain & I really loved it. Wrote it off after an argument with a girl unfortunately. Good to see they are still around and popular for modding.
Hey guys just a small suggestion, if you're doing a battery relocation put an inline/battery terminal fuse in. Just in case you get a short on that long battery wire run you can have a real bad day ;-) 400A terminal fuses just bolt up between the battery terminal and the battery wire and might save your day.
Lovely car. I might be partial to Nissans, and I might be partial to cars of that era in general, but that's still a rock solid build by the looks of it, and the colour choice is just too good!
I’ve had several compliments on my Allied Performance Projects - V2 Navy T-Shirt. I plan to order some more when finances permit it! You guys have a lot of SKU’s of shirt I’m sure you’re eager to get rid of some stock.
This car is icey as a hockey puck! I am a turbo V8 guy but I appreciate clean 90's Maximas and Infiniti J30's here in the states. I'm always surprised to learn about similar platforms between the states and Australia because for instance that car would have been a VQ30DE regardless of the trim level and that was the only engine for many years and only changed in subsequent years to a VQ35DE. Meanwhile, a similar platform in Australia always has several potential engines. I'm sure it's due to the cost required to make it compliant for US government environmental restrictions but it always seems that you guys have more engine options to choose from regardless of the vehicle..
Yeah, it shares the platform with the 'RB' engine Skyline, Leopard and Cefiro during Nissan's 'lego Years' where anything could be swapped in or out of each chassis with ease
Definitely. I would say some of this is due to the simple fact that australia is right hand drive. Converting to left hand drive costs more money the more times you have to do it for different engines.
@headsup9550 this is a japanese market car, they weren't sold in Australia. they also pre-date the VQ30 by quite a few years, these came out in the late 80s.
Was going to buy some merch this month, so the extra shirt deal is very well timed! Is there a code to use, or is it just a case of buying 2 and you guys gift a third?
What good is the JZ power if the axles are made of angel hair pasta? That's like the gym bros who skip leg day. Otherwise, it's clean af and the wiring looks mint, but let's not half-ass a relatively cheap part.
Buy two shirts and get a bonus third for free! www.theskidfactory.com
I've always wanted to ask this question: What's with the portrait of Kramer from Seinfeld that moves around the workshop? Must be some daft reason 😂 Cheers. Leigh.
In my opinion, this is the coolest car I've seen on the channel. That's gangster
Definitely top 5
I wholeheartedly agree with your viewpoint

BIG call! But I agree
Big block crown gotta be top for me 😮💨 or the Barra Bedford
That is undoubtedly an awesome car, but I've watched you guys, literally work on a lawn mower and still enjoyed every minute. Thanks guys for quality entertainment 👌
Hahah, agree
We miss you Al!!! Please come back for a build soon. God bless and lots of love from Norway.
Best build I've seen all year, the finish of everything is bonkers. As much a work of art as a working car, good on you lads to all involved.
Oh how I love '90s Japanese wiring. Makes is so easy to add upgrades if you had a lower spec.

Seriously nice car guys, I've never seen one before. So cool to see the smile on Matt's face when his baby fired for the first time.
I had one with a CA18I ! underpowered but I still loved it
My 180sx still has the ca18det :p
CA18I. 1.8 single cam NA. Slow and steady wins the race.
Man turbo Yoda is a wizard .. I wanna be like him when I grow up
Wiring does my head in... Well done yet again Al. 👍
Omg finally time for the 300zx!!!!!!!! I've literally just bought one (dream car). Keen to see what you do to it.

Some really trick work there. Can see these guys have a ratio of knowhow, bravery, and a touch of inasnity.
Just got my package of merch, you guys are legends..
Thank you so much for the key tag, Toolpro locking hex key set and the Hughes sticker ❤❤❤❤
Love all the cool sedans that Japan got, that we never got in the states.
Looks awesome, nice seeing options outside the norm 👌
6:51 when woody says 'Google' it sets my phone off. Love the show.
In the 90s all I had were car mags, now I have the skid factory to see how the work is done 👍
Millennium jade is such a good colour 😍
Having a 91 C33 meself, this is a beautiful build. Great chassis, great engine. I understand why but it hurts my soul to see a 2j in a Nissan.
Whole heartedly agree my man.
Hurts because you know it's superior? ;)
Edit: I'm kidding, I'm kidding! Don't kill me plz

No B pillar makes it look super cool with the windows rolled down. Never really noticed these cars before this video
They need to bring the laurel back 🙏
Outstanding paint job front tubs 2jz we rollin
Nicely done, very clean build
Happy Birthday Woody best wishes on the 11th🥳 enjoy a lemon sqaush or 2🍻 ....we share the same day.....🎂
Thanks mate! Happy birthday to you too!
awesome tips ,put in simple terms for simple people ,love your work guys
Gaawd Laawd! Thats a fricken absolute pristine piece of kit, what a well presented weapon!
Amazing car, made me miss my C33....never should have sold that car!
Best car on the channel yet!
I didn't know about laurels until Kumakubo built his c33, loved them ever since. These 90's japanese boxy sedans look soooooo good
Long live the Laurel 🙏🏾
I find it interesting how you have to match the injector detsils and not guess. It could be tempting to just make it up and push on.
F yeah Barty! Looks great. Paint still looks nice!
Cheers mate, it does! Hope you and the family are well mate will have to go for a cruise soon. Been too long.
@@matthewstjernqvist2858 yeah so keen for a cruise!
That’s what is known as the ‘badgers nadgers’ in the UK.. awesome build! Thank you for sharing with us 😊
Beautiful build and an unusual platform, really enjoyed this one 👏
love the look of the front wheel tubs, back to video
I love watching your wiring work. If you think 90s Japanese wiring is bad I'd love to watch you guys go through a 90s Mercedes
Farq that’s gorgeous, I love these and the cefiros
Awesome build. Bin the g30-900 and get a g35-900 though
sweet car, golden era nissan
Lovely car. I might be partial to Nissans, and I might be partial to cars of that era in general, but that's still a rock solid build by the looks of it, and the colour choice is just too good!
I placed another merch order last week, 🤞 for a special surprise when it arrives. Great vid guys.
Fantastic car and thank you so much for all the knowledge. This channel is amazing.
Woody, stand still for god sake…😂😂
Love the vids fellas.
I remember some of the milenium can't believe it was 23 years ago
300ZX - Yeeeaaaassss - tell us more :)
That is absolutely mint. Millenium Jade looks better in real life than pics /video but it still poos here. Want.
Not a jzx, but wouldn't say no. Wicked car!
yeah boi! love my C33! cant wait to put a decent engine in it one day!
What happening with the jz commodore?
Great looking car, well done Matt. I would choose some smaller diametre wheels, but that is just my taste.
0:36 is that a z on the hoist 👀
I had one of these with a a31 cefiro front
Whhhhhatttt abooout kevinnnn!!!
Sick beats woody. But I must admit I am here for Rodger! :)
As a Laurel owner I like this! Mine is a C31 with a VH45DE in it.
Love a hot Nissan Yanny.
It's Laurel as in Laurel bush not Lorelle 😂🤣
Exactly. That's why the emblem on the bonnet (not bonnay) is a Laurel Wreath.
Man I love wiring episodes!
I miss my C33, this just made it 10x worse. What a beauty
Another amazing and gorgeous car we didn’t get in the states 😢
Everybody loves a c33 ❤
like the body shape almost VL like
That is one great looking car! 😮
forever regret selling my 89 medallist for 2k 12 years ago. beauty of a car
Im hoping someday my wiring will be close as clean and tidy as Al does it
Gorgeous! 😍
Looking forward to your first EV buipd ⚡
Lol...keep looking 😂

2jzs swap much easier into left hand drive cars cause the turbos n dumps make it difficult with the steering in right hand drive cars
Best car yet
Lemon squash powered wiring loom.
you guys charge extra for wiring? Looks painful!
Sweet ride!!
Oh man that is mouth watering 😛 very beautiful 😊
That thing is slick AF ❤️
The Z32 is a deeply underrated chassis. I'm really excited to see you lads dig into that unit.
Z32? That is the second generation 300ZX chassis you are referencing there.
@@SimplySteel Yea, at the end of the episode, where they were hinting that it has 'Lamborghini parts'. The Diablo used headlights from the Z32.
Maybe if it had an RB it would have been more popular.
@@DriftNick RB > VG, all day long my dude.
do a b58 swapped mini next
That look's Mad.
@14:21 where do you source those crimps from to join multiple wires? Been looking for some with no luck..
That's a dream job offer right there! Said live to far away. Rip to head phone users 🤣
What a sweet ride!
Clutch Fan for the win.
More interested in the 300ZX on the lift on the background. 🙂
Yannys are possibly the best 90s nissan imo. Unique and just as good as an s13 or r32
Well played on the name game!!
Question for Al. Do you giggle inside when you say bung?
What an epic Laurel!
Was going to buy some merch this month, so the extra shirt deal is very well timed! Is there a code to use, or is it just a case of buying 2 and you guys gift a third?
Sick cressida. Fitment is on point good lordy! ;) 😅

what is the proper name for the uninsulated multi wire crimp connectors ?
Obviously subjective, but that's a great colour!
That's just beautiful
@15:10 Mungo vs Greg Brown?
The VVTI gears are always noisy even with some base duty cycle to quiet it down.
I know Allen has more than enough street cred
But he is the real turbo yoda
The filming seems different for this. Great episode.
Dose he still share it with nan
Do you provide some sort of wiring diagram with cars like this or is it just going to be a copy of your notes?
Just notes on the wiring page supplied with the Haltech.
