I love Amy. She never disappoints. My only concern is that there were about 8 guys in her band and none of them could have sang the male part for this song- it was noticeably missing. Though Amy did sing some of the male parts, she couldn't have sang all of them.
she preferred a more melodic/symphonic sound. the Nu-Metal era was just very popular and the record label/investors needed to make bank and told them to get a metal vocalist/screamer on board
