This is definitely a really interesting and grounded take on dating and relationships. This is definitely something I struggle with, a feeling of needing to perform and ultimately deluding my true essence to be seen as a more attractive option to a potential partner. It is exhausting, and most importantly, it never works because it comes off as disingenuous and desperate. BUT, this channel and this videos have definitely helped me to realize that so thank you for posting these!

There is a clip from the podcast where she says she doesn’t see them long term and even says the reason why they will break up. She has an expiration date on the relationship. Mike is ALWAYS talking about her profession. It seems like he only sees one side,and then you see Logan “humanize” her and talks to her and not at her. Sadly Mike will always be the sidekick and she wants more in a long term relationship.

This video really helped me think back to my failed relationships and how almost all of my ex partners were interested in me through ego validation. I don't feel the need to be validated that I'm attractive so I've never felt that scared nervousness. Only one person I dated wasn't ever nervous with me and I think he was drawn to me because I was the only girl he's met who didn't get nervous around him and throw myself at him. I'm starting to wonder whether I'm truly attracted to men or I'm attracted to people who "play" hard to get.
