I don’t mind the game being aggressive b/c we have the tools in the game to contain that aggression. I just want all the crazy offense to have more risk involved & be more punishable & avoidable with movement. Ppl will think twice pressing into you when they know there’s heavy risk involved in their offense
Yeah what you say is key for sure. Is not bad that the game is aggressive, it is that there is not enough risk maybe related to that. But as I said in the video, I don't know if the devs will even work around a premise like this. It seems like the game will become even more offensive or that is what I personally expect/predict. @ well like I said there’s nothing wrong with having mixups. Every fighting game has these things in place. But tekken is different since there’s always option selects. Literally no one would complain about the offense if there was always risk involved, option selects, or maybe a reduced scaling in damage The offense just needs to feel earned & well thought out and not reward brain rot mashing. But again this is fixable. The game philosophy is fine it’s the risk factor they need to address

Yes, they are very underpowered in comparison, that's why I made the video, cause I feel like people are just assuming that they will be stronger in S2 and that's not necessarily the case. Depends on what it is that you like about the game. Personally at the start, I wanted more defense, but now that I just have accepted the game as the offensive FG, I have a lot of fun playing it. Just nerf Alisa, Jin, Drag, King. Remove or nerf heat system and remove "special style". Less tracking for attacks to make sidesteps actually good again. And less damage for Rage Art. (P.S.: As a Steve main, give me back my launcher harada)

The Season 2 will be surpass the Season 1.

I think the DLCs will actually be great, the problem as I said in the video will probably be balancing design/gameplay
