Well, you had a very productive week even with all your company, great job. Love Nugget, he is just so darn cute. Nothing like a little disco light...lol Not sure if I could have stayed as focused as you did. I worked on my Sue Bonnet blocks this week, I finished 10 then realized that to make it the way I wanted to, I would need two more. Also worked on getting things ready for my family reunion over Labor Day weekend. I always have everyone design a block with their name and whatever else they want to add to the block. First year I did a signature block, last year give them a white half-hexi (a lot of them did such a beautiful job adding flowers and designs to their block). This year I have an ugly sweater template for a 5 inch block, so cutting out 30 of them using white material, so everyone can design, then I will applique them to a colored block to make the 2024 quilt. Last year we did a drawing to see who would get the 2022 quilt, this year will draw for the 2023 quilt. Thanks for another great week of quilting, have a wonderful weekend!!
I love your family reunion quilt practice! It is fantastic that your family is willing to participate! The flickering lights were easier to ignore than the chainsaw! Nugget is an adorable grand dog. Thank you for sharing your story! Have a great weekend!

The kittens under the umbrella are very cute. Off to the coast today for several days. Near Tillamook. The county fair is happening, and they do a really nice job of displaying quilts. I added more bling to the Christmas wall hanging. I still need to add the hanging sleeve and label. Not done with the bling yet! But I don't want to over embellish. I must have given away the bag of red and green buttons I thought I had. Adding sequins to the centers of the printed buttons is fine. But, like I said, I'm not done yet! My sister found the photo I was looking of Tiger laying on the wall hanging. I want to use it on the special fabric that goes thru the printer. Time to mosey! Take care! I saw Nugget! Hey, Marion! Have a great trip to Tillamook and the county fair. Can you ever have too much bling? I don’t think so! I think I will add some machine satin stitches to the duck…I am not sure what type of iron on product the original maker used…hopefully it will not be a sticky mess! Have a great weekend!
