Wow what a great commercial and equally excellent breakdown of the production! I loved every part of it. That jib arm looked wild, what a great tool, I’ve not seen that before. What’s the name of it? Also, were you using a 144 shutter angle to fight light flicker? Cheers! 🤙
Thank you so glad you enjoyed the video and its called the Cpan arm by 9 solutions its not my favorite product as it has some major flaws but in slow motion it works well. No we were shooting at 180 we didnt have any issues in slow motion with the aputure lights.
This came out amazing! I love that you're doing some TV commercial work! I can't wait to see the next video! I always learn something when I watch your stuff!
Hi Austen, you are the best when it comes to product videography. Do you have any tips for a beginner. I have a small setup: a white background, camera, 2 lights, small rotating display and a tripod. You always have amazing equipment when it comes to your shots and I was wondering where someone like me would start.
This commercial was developed specifically to run on their website landing page and as TV ad, everything else is edited as a square aspect ratio for ads.
@@AustenPaul that makes sense so more as an asset than a commercial. Thanks for clarifying. After I watched this videos I am being hammered with Send A Cale ads on social 🤣🤣
Yeah it was pretty simple we used a 8x8 scrim on the left as our key and shot the 1200 into it. Then one 600 as our rim light in the back left. I hope that helps!

Thank you so much!!
Austen have you ever made a product video with a phone, if not do you think it would be possible with a IPhone 15 Pro?
Where are these being used? No one watches TV so if they’re for social are you delivering a vertical version too? Ty

Can we get a breakdown of the outdoor scene's lighting?

@@AustenPaul it does. Thank you.

Great video. Daniel scheifer would have done that with just a tripod 😹😂😹.
Haha that would be wild!
@@AustenPaul very wild and stressful 😹😂😹
LOVE your videos. You have great personality (please, though; ditch the stache) :-)
Thank you so much! And maybe I like the mustache haha
