This week we’re looking at 10 of the most underrated films of the 2010s. Now, this list is centred more towards our own opinions and what we personally believe to be some of the films that were either snubbed on the awards circuit, received weak box office returns or we just generally less popular than they should have been.

Incendies, First Reformed, Annihilation, Cloud Atlas and Shoplifters are favourites of mine that seem to have gone under everyone’s radar. Incendies especially.

What a great list ! Most of them are criminally underreated^^ Tree of Life and Incendies one of my best and i would say Hell or High Water is a good choice. Also its good to see Once Upon a Time in Anatolia in there. Thats really really underrated and most of the people even not heard it.
Judging by this list, i think you were telling your audience that Ryan Gosling is a very underrated actor. And I tend to agree.

First Man is chazelle’s best film
Tree of Life and Hell or High Water were both nominated for a pretty good amount of Oscars including Best Picture. They are definitely not underrated.
Yeah we did mention that in the video, however Oscar nominations don't technically define whether a film is underrated or not. Both 'The Tree Of Life' and 'Hell Or High Water' received relatively weak box office returns, actually losing money in the long run. The critics may have recognised the films, however the audiences didn't and that's why they're included.

So pleased to see there’s another fan of the Nice Guys! Grossly underrated gem of a movie - so rewatchable too.

This is a great list. I clicked on this wondering if First Man would be on here because I never see it anyway but its such a great film. The gosling films are great, he's been in so many good movies. Some other great underrated: Waves, 99 Homes, shot caller, wind river.
Hell or high water is a real favorite of mine. Nice guys is hilarious. First man deserves not to be watched. Night crawler is excellent. I’ve tried to watch you were never really but can’t seem to get through it. I would add Driver with Ryan to your list somewhere.
All of these movies are great!! I havent watched First Man though, but all the others are just amazing films, some of my favorites! Hell Or High Water is just a modern-western masterpiece!
Nightcrawler and the Nice guys are both in my top 20 or maybe even top 10 of all tim so I was happy to see them get recognition.
A movie I don't love as much is Steve McQueen's Widows, I think it's absolutely brilliant and severely underrated so it should have definitely been on the list.

We were debating whether to place 'The Master', that and 'Phantom Thread' both came quite close to inclusion. Definitely underrated!
The Master I believe has by now garnered much admiration among film geeks with time.

Good list. just think blade runner deserved a mention .
I was actually considering 'Blade Runner' at first, after it got completely wasted in the box office. It has since pulled in a cult following, and I'm hoping this will increase its viewership. Fingers crossed, a brilliant film!
