  • Football has come a long way since the dark days of hooliganism in the 70s and 80s when violence between fans was routine.
    But after we were given special access to film with the Met Police at the weekend's FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley it's clear the modern game still has some way to go to completely rid itself of its ugly past. Fans of Tottenham and Manchester United clashed with both each other and the police outside the stadium with the Met's resources stretched to the limit to keep the violence in check. ITV News London's sports reporter Amy Lewis was with them.
