Bought these 3 weeks ago and am thoroughly happy with them. Other than jogging and working out, they are also GREAT for hiking. If you want pleasant background sound while still being completely aware of your surroundings then able to react in time, these are well worth the money. I personally find the experiences of listening to music with these sits right in between open speakers and closed headphones. I really enjoy these.

I've had the aftershokz aeropex for over 2 years now, used them at work every day since. I multipoint connect them to my phone & mp3 player and listen to music/podcasts all day. Battery is more than 50% after 8 hours and 3 years use. I would recommend aftershokz to anyone looking to use bone conduction headphones
I still own (I don’t know if it is the 1st model) the the aftershokz titanium still consider them great, I got them replaced via warranty so I have them for about 3 years. Great for biking.
I have both the Titanium and the Aeroplex. I can't go back to the Titanium's after I tried the Aeroplex. Aeroplex's are much more comfortable and sound significantly better to me. Though I'm not sure if upgrading from the Aeroplex to the Openrun Pro's is worth it.

Openrun Pro is undoubtedly a good product, I once had one. However, this year I switched to Wissonly Hi Runner.Because I need a more powerful and versatile application scenario headphone. Hi Runner has a higher waterproof level, which makes it perform well underwater and can be used for running, gym, cycling, and swimming. It supports Bluetooth mode and MP3 mode, which also allows it to have more usage scenarios, such as when there is no phone, it can be used as an MP3 player.
One of the device that I already using even before you made a review (in fact I'm listening to the review using openrun pro)...nice multipoint in app, maybe even better than liberty 3 pro app minus the control and eq setting...I used them when sleeping...great device...battery life, I also noticed that I got more than 10 hours... Maybe I'm not using it at full volume...it's quite loud for me...

@@jnturner7828 I bought the Openrun Pros and ended up returning them the next day. Personally, I was disappointed by them. The sound is muddier than the Aeropex. I think it's due to the positioning of the speakers to allow more "bass" to come through. In my opinion, the Aeropex give more enjoyable listening experience. The only thing I would say the Pros are better in, is the comfort. I felt a little less pressure when I wore them over the Aeropex.
Have you tested/compared these to the other ones available from Shokz? Like the Aeropex, etc? (Realize These are newer), but those seem to have better reviews/ratings, along with the fully? 'waterproof' feature, so I was just curious. Also, my optimal combination I have not been able to find anywhere (though bone conduction bands seem to be the likeliest possible solution): a COMFORTABLE, STURDY [fairly gorilla-proof LOL], ideally waterproof or water-resistant, lightweight, flexible, (& would be great if had TILE or lanyard, or something to eliminate risk of losing!), but most importantly, *Clear-sounding Bluetooth For Calls, that I Can Also Use For Music* (the music doesn't have to sound amazing), and most ELUSIVE -- *WITH the Ability to Seek Forward Or Back Within A Track*... Everything I've found can only skip to next track forward/back, not within a track, unless using voice assistant, and I don't always want to have to call on voice assistant just to quickly repeat last 10-30 secs, you know? If you can ever recommend something with this ability, I'd be incredibly grateful! 🙏😘

The OpenComms have a rater 16 hour battery life so based on my Aeropex rated at 8 Hours but lasting 14 hours I'd say you'll never listen long enough to fully kill the battery . The OpenComms boom mic has to be down or you want be heard by callers the sound is basically like the Aeropex . The new OpenRun Pros Are the sound quality kings . There's a UA OpenComm As Well That Comes With A Dedicated Bluetooth Dongle For Computer ETC . I'd Suggest You Get The Openrun pros. I've Them In Beige .
i used to use IEMS for when listening to music and gaming, but now I'm having to use tinnitus hearing aids or white noise hearing aid so IEMs are out of the question now, I guess my question would be I'm used to good quality sound I mean from 2-300$ IEMs, how do these headphones stack up against real IEMs??
I’m curious about 2 things about these. I have the Aeropex right now and people can hear my music and my phone calls. It also feels like it vibrates a lot near my ears. But I really only want them for phone calls. But I’m curious about privacy and how well people can hear me. With my Aeropex, I get several complaints about me sounding far away or people not being able to hear me at all.
@@jfree2739 Just died. Listening at my desk one night working fine. Turned them off, sat them on desk. Never worked again after that. Probably would have had 90% charge left. I did love them though. That was a year ago.

I got version Micflip down not close to mouth & no1 can hear me while using. But bought for using on live panels. But shocked by rest of features offer. But have do more on on options to adjust to fit devices. Now also don't live in area been completely updated. Bass issues, os because should add features can adjust mic sensors, make like radio can adjust settings. & give buyer to enjoy product wanted & paid $170 after taxes. Notebooks mic shouldn't sound better.

Depends on how loud the environment is but in general yes. You would likely have to tune the sound to the loudest. These are not loud like the closed headphones.

i used to use IEMS for when listening to music and gaming, but now I'm having to use tinnitus hearing aids or white noise hearing aid so IEMs are out of the question now, I guess my question would be I'm used to good quality sound I mean from 2-300$ IEMs, how do these headphones stack up against real IEMs??

I’m curious about 2 things about these. I have the Aeropex right now and people can hear my music and my phone calls. It also feels like it vibrates a lot near my ears. But I really only want them for phone calls. But I’m curious about privacy and how well people can hear me. With my Aeropex, I get several complaints about me sounding far away or people not being able to hear me at all.
Loved mine only lasted 3 months.
what happened? im interested in getting one as im reading the comments here to see whether it can last for years before i decide to get it

Just died. Listening at my desk one night working fine. Turned them off, sat them on desk. Never worked again after that. Probably would have had 90% charge left. I did love them though. That was a year ago.
Do they bleed? I was thinking of using this to work at a warehouse while they might not allow it but still interested in bone conductions and would need/want open hearing.
Unless listen at high volume no one should hear them but u

I got version Micflip down not close to mouth & no1 can hear me while using. But bought for using on live panels. But shocked by rest of features offer. But have do more on on options to adjust to fit devices. Now also don't live in area been completely updated. Bass issues, os because should add features can adjust mic sensors, make like radio can adjust settings. & give buyer to enjoy product wanted & paid $170 after taxes. Notebooks mic shouldn't sound better.

Have open run pro's. Disappointed with limited bass. Also have the Bose soundware an monster boomerang. Prefer the Bose. Sadly they lag if watching videos.

Your phone has a sound regulator most likely. Computers usually don’t have that.

Can you still hear them in a loud environment? Was tempted to get one of their older models but didn't end up pulling the trigger.
Depends on how loud the environment is but in general yes. You would likely have to tune the sound to the loudest. These are not loud like the closed headphones.
It's hard to hear in very loud environments but you can kinda fix this problem by covering your ears(hands, ear muffs, ear plugs).
The louder the environment the louder you'll need to turn up the OpenRun Pros etc

proprietary charge cables. wtf just what the world needs another device with a cable that works with one device, much less you put it somewhere you can't find. this is a deal breaker, i have too many and yes the cable eventually shows up, but i stopped buying sony because they did propietary things. of course this adds to the price, Shokz stop the stupid.
